I sincerely appreciate the midi play-throughs y’all are posting. I’m a visual person, so this helps more than you know 🤘
Yes me too! Knowing how the key changes are laid out in real time like this helps. It’d be even better if the midi was posted for a lot of these songs too!
Sounds great. Honestly. One of my fav songs.
Sounds so good.Loving the slides
Very thicc, had a lot of fun with Odin yesterday too, now just waiting for work to end so I can write some more.
Amazing to hear!
Amazing cover! Odin 3 sounding awesome 🔥💯
Really great! 🔥
Lowkey wouldn’t mind seeing a play through of Suffocate by Knocked Loose 🧐
Can you make tutorials for the classic extreme metal genres: black, death, thrash, and explain how to use Odin 3 to get the most realism for the exact type of riff? You would make my life extremely happy, grateful, fulfilled and efficient if you did. :D
Frankly I love keyboard and fret visualisation and I think all your plugins should have it in general. It's like having kontakt without kontakt
Awesome . I have 2 . Buying this one even though I’m broke . Worth it !
Sick!
Sounds very (VERY) artifical. I have tried the previous version and even though it was not perfect, the sound I got by sending it through various VSTs was much better... maybe a better effect/amp/cab chain would sound better..?
V-Metal by Pominy and heavier7 Strings are still by far the most realistic guitars vst.
Too bad, unfortunately all videos of Odin 3 sound very artificial to me so far
@@reperias Have You tried some of the Shreddage libs for Kontakt? Especially the Hydra is great (for hi-gain, low-tuned but it can do whatever You want in the clean dimension too, You can use brigde, neck or both pickups). And there is also one really great free library for (free) sforzando player. The library is called METAL-GTX, just google it. That one is tuned from G, only the bridge pickup there, all articulations You need, choosing by keyswitches). Both sounds great and natural.
Prominy V-Metal (6 strings ESP Alexi Blacky drop C)
Shreddage 3 Hydra (8 strings drop low E Ibanez RGIF8)
Prominy SC Electric Guitar 2 (6 strings Standard Stratocaster but you can tune down to low C)
Only thing I never like on Odin 2 which I use constantly is the high note separation and how tapping comes across. Although it could totally be my inability to program it correctly.
Hi, Odin 3 fixes this because:
- high notes can now be played higher on the fretboard so they sound less bright
- the hammer-ons and pull-offs are actually sampled now and separate keyswitches
How many gb download?
Sounds amazing
Man, you need to teach me how to do slides, it's driving me crazy!
Sounds awesome! Buying today.
Is there a MIDI file so that we can see how all the articulations are used etc? That would be awesome 😎👍🏻
I will do a DAW deep dive for this song in the near future :)
@@SolemnTonesbrilliant, thank mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Would love to see some of the chain too. Eq, amp and cabs, etc!
@@SolemnTones Can you do the simplest palm muting quarter notes part in a pop punk style? I know it's not exactly the target audience but I'm trying to decide if this would work for my workflow and without the trial to try that out i'm kinda iffy.
This doesn't sound like a real guitar to me. Maybe it's the amp, I don't know, but I get way better sound out of (some other kontakt library that I won't name so it doesn't look like an ad)
Can the "best virtual guitar in the world" shred? These thick mutes and chords are chunky and impressive, but that's not going to earn you "best virtual guitar in the world" alone 😅
We have other demos on this RUclips :) Check out the solos in our “Sound Of Truth” and “To The Hellfire” covers. Or perhaps even the chorus in Sound Of Truth for some nice riffing.
I would absolutely love some midi files to see what your notes look like and learn from them.
