This is quite a complex way of achieving this. I make my Kebab rigs in a similar way and have a single treble hook or circle hook off of the bottom of the Kebab, allowing some room to that the hook cannot be obscured. I put the loop of the Kebab over the bend of the hook, it is really quick to implement and neat. I make up a bag with the fishs bits and just attach this to the trace above the hook, the whole thing takes a couple of minutes to prepare.
Hanging up my noddy suit Chris can you give me a good location for my first time pike fishing with easy access. All that shiny new pike gear keeps staring at me. Cheers

That was NGT PVA bags mate. It was a few years ago that vid. I would have put cold water in to simulate it the best I could. Probably a couple of minutes before the fish bits started falling out.

Is this what carp fishermen do? Super complicated rigs for pike? I kinda do understand the benefit of original Fox predator kebab rig with the rigid red stick and floating ball and ONE treble hook. But now you are adding two hooks (better chance for hooking I guess) with separate tag for that and even PVA bag and oil injection etc. This way your rig looks even more advanced than any carp rigs out there. I know that us carp fishermen likes to get complicated rigs but those pikes are eating almost everything you throw at them!! They are not picky, wary and smart as carps are... I personally think the Fox Predator one hook one red plastic kebab is enough - if you want have better presentation of the bait above dirty bottom of the lake.
Absolutely no disrespect Chris. A lot of messing about. I'd rather keep the bait whole, fill the cavity with your chum mix and sew it up with pva string. There's a company here called screaming reels I think that do macky with sandeels sewn into the cavity. That tank test looks like something Carl would leave as a midnight present at the back of your bivvy 😂
ScreamingDelkims true Chris. Was out yesterday and had about 12 knocks on every bait/set up possible. 2 jacks landed. They were only snapping at and lipping the baits. The change in weather with low pressure and cold killed it, plus it's silly season and they've spawning in mind.

Two things buddy 1 how bad is that mackerel that's shocking and 2 it's definitely a job for outside the house. I like it I do something similar but I'm using pva mesh it is a bit easier to work with. I can see it catching Pike no worries and if its pre made and frozen then it will cast like a bullet. Oh and cheers for the shout out buddy.
Yeah that mackerel was bad mate. Straight off the counter at Asda!!!! Do some fine tuning with it now. Fresh fish would have made it much much easier. Can't believe they were selling that for people to eat 😲😲😲😲

Hi Chris, One tips, tricks and handy bollocks is, steam you plastic coated rig wire, it straightens out a lot of bends.
