Have you noticed how you never see Steve Jones, late of the Sex Pistols, and Julian Schnabel in the same place at the same time?
Julian's a terrible guitarist and Steve is a great painter.

Ridley Scott has actually never won an Oscar.
The Duellists is a sort of pastiche Barry Lyndon. Scott is incredibly wealthy from his films and I believe he gets final cut? Maybe.
He ain't Kubrick.
