Go to 8th floor. you can find extremely budget Indian fried rice and noodles that will be shockingly good for breakfast (7.30am+) and Chinese traditional soup like ABC (highly recommended) or Lotus root soup with rice for lunch (11am+). You can also find "Famous Chicken Rice" at Jalan Nagasari from 11am-2pm nearby. There is also Chinese temple (not sure for this month) that sells mixed rice just next to Boustead building for lunch.
Mee tarik is handmade pulled noodles. You can stretch your dollars even further at some hidden spots.
