Yay! It’s so fun. Just make sure you have a safe place for them to live. We’ve had dogs, Fox, raccoons, and hawks get them at different times when they’re out free ranging.
That Rock didn't look like a Rock chick. We had a favorite Buff and she wasn't broody. We sold our other Buffs as they were all broody. We've had the Reds. Great layers but a bit of attitude (our opinion). The other two breeds would be new for us. I hope all 15 survive for you! Cheers Lisa!
I hope it’s a rock. We are down to 1 on our coop. The rocks and austrolorps chicks looked really similar. It’s possible I grabbed the wrong breed to show but they all kind of looked like that with the coloring. We shall find out in time 😀.
