The white ones are the cultivars that are grown in orchards and gardens. The yellow ones are wild ones, mostly growing in deep forest. I've tasted both and I like them, has that mild sour and sweet taste to it. Can't eat too much or else you'll get stomach ache. Source: Both a Borneon and Forester.
Oh no! I saw these in the Asian supermarket just yesterday and wussed out and bought fancy oranges instead because I thought these tasted like dirt! Oh well... they ARE really good oranges.
In Malaysia, tall big tree, d texture n thickness more like 'Duku', inside resembles another Malaysian fruit called 'Rambai', both fruits are rare and not popular.
🤣 Cold ? What are you talking about? They'd probably be totally toasted by +10C (+50F). Where they grow it never drops lower than +20C ( +70F). I tried growing a Rambai which is somewhat similar and it was severely damaged by +12C
I am constantly going on planes when I travel and don't check bags. I buy several knives every time I take a trip because I have to keep ditching them before boarding. For short stays/layovers, like this one, I don't bother.
Jared Rydelek Ah OK that makes sense. Stupid safety rules... as if jihadis would not find a way around that. So is it not possible to take one of those plastic knifes from the in-flight menu? That would still be better than finger nails.
I watch all these weird fruit review videos of yours. they are very cool. the only thing that bothers me is your fingernails. they are so long and gross! is that an Asian thing? or are fingernail clippers just hard to find there?
