- Join us for Race Day 1 of the Finke Desert Race 2024. The Twins are in the #1088 Class 10 Alumicraft starting first in their class. Justin and Jamie in the #484 Trophy Truck are starting the race at the back in 52nd position, will they be able to overtake the competition and charge their way to the front of the pack?

We were at the old start line and cheered you all through. Tge rest of our camp was about the 75 km mark. Bugger boys about the gearbox but awesome effort! Justin woohoo on 7th. Can’t wait to see the next episode even though it didn’t have the ending you wanted. Can’t wait to see you back next year.

Another year and you guys do better coverage than CH7. We stopped at only 31km after breaking a hardline to the turbo.. We got absolutely soaked in mud at the big water hole 15km out, muddy water running inside our visors, we literally drove off the track and then had to stop and try and clean our visors to see, inside and out, then copped the next 15 km as the muddy water came out from everywhere it was sitting... It was my busiest time as a Nav , ever. I was having to clean the gauges and rally safe just to see them, We haven't seen it like that since Rainbow 2018 or 19, not sure what year it was.
AWESOME run Justin !!, the boys were rocking it too until it broke , their day will come 👍(just seen a comment about dnf, bummer, but at least the boys got to run until the end !.)
Do you really need to carry 2 spares though? That's quite a bit of weight carried throughout the course.
