  • Dr Angie Holzer reminds us of the first 2 limbs of yoga - Yama and Niyama. These limbs help us identify things we need to add or eliminate in our life to help in the healing process.
Dr GABOR Mate helps us learn that one of the childhood coping mechanisms is guilt. As we get older, we need to learn to say “No”.

Your intuition....is your inner Christ's protection for you. 63 years l ignored it to my pearl. Strength is needed...NO is needed. When l has suffered enough re people pleasing....l am healing that now.

Your stories are both intriguing and comforting to me to know I’m not the only one. Please tell me more.

The same story of Moses peace be upon him told in the Quran, beautifully told. I love the story. Also great analogy bringing the story in the subject of the ability to say no.

I think the most difficult thing is finding a balance. Because unfortunately we will always by surrounded by people who don’t like to hear ‘No’. For some people, saying ‘No’ could result in a huge rage attack from a parent. It could result in not getting a promotion or big displeasure from a boss. Saying ‘No’ many times to a partner could also result in the partner cheating or leaving (even they are the most patient person on earth). So you people please/compromise to protect yourself sometimes. But how much is too much is the question

We have all been so programmed...through religion ...to deny thyself. Religion real meaning..."Is to link back" laten. I linked back to me...their l found what l was looking for. Best relationship l have ever had. I support me, encourage me

Thanks for uploading this, Dr. Holzer! Question: @7:05, was the section meant to read as, "How not saying 'no' leads to diseases" instead of "How saying 'no' leads to diseases"?

Going to grab it now. Thank you 🙏
Although really internalizing what he says for the first ten minutes actually cements the whole story of guilt and why we feel it and why not invite it more into our life

We are glad you enjoyed it! We wanted to make this more consolidated so people can get through it, but maybe we’ll make it longer next time if people will watch all of it?

I haven't heard this story for many years and now it strikes me - did the Egyptians not find it very suspect that the daughter (queen?) had been down by the river and comes back with a little boy just at the time all Jewish first born boys were supposed to be being drowned?

    • @mohammedtjr9236

It was the Will of Allah. When she saw the baby, she felt a strong connection with him. She convinced the Pharaoh to keep him and adopt him. To the king, the chance of that little boy to become who ended becoming was a remote thing especially if he is raised not knowing his origin. The story is beautifully told in the Quran. Check it out.

She knew he was Hebrew by what he was wrapped in.
Look around at people in power they rarely live by the rules they demand others to live by.
Just look at California during lock downs, most politicians were out and about with no mask, while they demanded others no contact and masks.
