This was a really good reminder and wakeup call that lent is not about self-help, but rather dying to self. This brought to mind a prayer by St. Augustine “Let me Know Myself”. It’s perfect for saying daily, but especially as we approach lent and throughout. This is the prayer I mentioned…
Lord Jesus, let me know myself and know You,
And desire nothing save only You.
Let me hate myself and love You.
Let me do everything for the sake of You.
Let me humble myself and exalt You.
Let me think of nothing except You.
Let me die to myself and live in You.
Let me accept whatever happens as from You.
Let me banish self and follow You,
And ever desire to follow You.
Let me fly from myself and take refuge in You,
That I may deserve to be defended by You.
Let me fear for myself, let me fear You,
And let me be among those who are chosen by You.
Let me distrust myself and put my trust in You.
Let me be willing to obey for the sake of You.
Let me cling to nothing save only to You,
And let me be poor because of You.
Look upon me, that I may love You.
Call me that I may see You,
    And for ever enjoy You.
    Amen.
    -St. Augustine

Also, stay away from pagan (hindu) content. If you're doing yoga, stop. 'Mantras' and these things can open portals to the demonic. Start simply: change that profile pic (it's a pagan idol/deity/demon). Delete all your pagan, 'new religion', pantheist, heresy junk. And I say this out of love for Christ Jesus. And if it offends you, good. It shows you still have some knowledge of right and wrong.

Strip away the crutches we use to support ourselves!
So we can only rely on God. ❤️
Ask God when we need help throughout through our day.
    Fasting in quality, not quantity.
Almsgiving, giving away our material goods.
    Through Him
    With Him
    In Him
Don't get too attached to the Lent Plans
Because then God has us destroys them. He tests our will, are you willing to take apart of this. Then God gives us something else, an interior trial. God knows what penance we need. We should examine our conscious, do I rely on myself more than God?
Ask Our Lady of Sorrows what are our biggest obstacles standing in the way of our relationship with God? And how can we overcome them.
    Thank you!

There are no false or true Popes in the Catholic Church. Holy Spirit allows "bad" popes to humble and sanctify us the Church. Because of our pride, it is hard to submit ourselves to imperfect people, yet Jesus Christ did exactly that. Catholic Church is not built or kept by holy popes but by the mercy of God and Him only. Do not think you know better than God what or who Church needs. Maybe hard times and hard popes or church leaders are what we need to purify us from pride.

@M. The Church teaches that truly bad Popes, heretics, cease to be Popes because they're no longer in the actual Church. Same goes with all Catholics. If you deviate from the 2,000 yr old magisterium on one small point, you're outside of the Catholic Church. To be saved one must be
a Catholic who is not a heretic. Heretics are the Gates of Hell. That's how Christ says the Gates of Hell will not prevail. Heretics are automatically outside the Church, mystical body, when they preach heresy. This ensures the UNITY of faith.
