Great video friend🌹
That's awesome! Thanks so much.
Beautiful! I'm inspired to have a go at this tomorrow. (-:
Thanks so much! I hope it brings you fun.
These are so pretty. I love them. I have a question. I have made polymer clay trinket dishes 2 times and they are not getting hard. My 2nd attempt I baked at 275 for 1 hour and 15 minutes and it's still a little pliable. What could I be doing wrong?
your videos are so good!
That’s so kind of you to say. Thanks for watching.
Looks so easy! I’m yet to attempt anything polymer clay related, don’t even have anything yet 😂 hopefully soon 🤞
I would love to see a soap dish tutorial
Ooo great idea!
I love these! Are you using an automatic clay roller or hand crank?
Thanks so much! It’s a manual one from Amazon.
Can this be made with air dry clay as well?this marbling effect along with gold leaf?
Absolutely. It can be done with any type of clay, as far as I know. Definitely wait until it's dry before adding the gold leaf.
Can you tell me what type of gold leaf “paint” you are using please? Is it an enamel base or acrylic or what exactly is that?? Thanks a lot! Looks great!
Hi there! It’s classic gold by Plaid. Hobby Lobby has it the cheapest but it’s also on Amazon. I believe it is a lacquer base. If you use it, remember to shake it really well and then stir it beforehand.
Very cute. But I have made several of these less than 1/4” thick and it does not harden. It feels like a flexible plastic. Did yours harden?
Yes. The key is to bake it around 45 minutes. The package says 15 minutes per quarter inch thickness, but it takes much longer to harden.
@@TimberandChain Thank you. I will give it a try.
thank you:) what kind of gold did you use for the edge?
Thanks for watching! It’s Liquid leaf in classic gold by Plaid.
@@TimberandChain thank you so much:)
What brand of liquid leaf are you using? Please.
Hi! The brand is plaid. Hope this helps.
how thick are these?
Hi there! I use a clay roller and stack 3 layers, then roll gently to combine. The key is to bake for 45 minutes, not the recommended 15, or they'll be rubbery. Baking for 45 minutes ensures that they'll be unbendable. Thanks for watching.
