I was at this concert in Danbury. I was a senior at Danbury High in October 1967. I had become an avid Doors fan during the previous summer. I was fortunate to sit in the 2nd row, stage left. At one point, Morrison jumped off the stage in front of me...I can't remember which song that was, maybe "The End". However, the concert lives on in memory in Danbury for one thing. During one song, Jim repeatedly picked up the microphone stand, and bashed it into the stage floor. There was damage caused and the principal of our school made a big deal about it, threatening to sue the Doors to fix it. It was big news on the radio and in the local paper, Danbury News-Times by the next morning, so when I got to school that day, I went up on stage. It was no big deal, just a black scuff mark, but it lives on in Danbury as a urban myth that the Doors put a hole in the stage. The concert itself was not supposed to take place at the high school, it was scheduled to be at the local college (Western Connecticut State University) as part of their Fall Weekend schedule, however the college auditorium was under repair, and they negotiated to have it at Danbury High School. I describe the concert and other Sixties events in my 2016 book, "Until The Birds Chirp: Reflections On The Sixties".
You should fix the audio of the entire Danbury High School album like you did with Back Door Man and Break on Through You really did a good job trying to restore them.
