    Hello MHIKS EVENTS,
Very glad to have found your HP 3600 printer repair show parts in my course of getting ready for repairing my HP 3600. Mine died on me all of sudden - it was doing fine printing the day before and got shut down normally then won't have any sign of life the next day on. I suspect the trouble in high-voltage PCB (HP P/N RM1-2578-000CN). Would love to get your trouble shooting assessment on my problem. Your video parts would help greatly on the disassemble and reassemble. I have bookmarked your shows and would use them every step of the way during the repair. Thanks for the posting and sharing your expertise.

Thanj u so much for watching my video, as you mention that your printer has suddenly no power, first of all check the main power Supply, test the continuity of Fuse with volt meter if there is not continuity it means fused has been blown. Replace it and printer should be back on normal operation. Please do share, like and don't forget to subscribe my channel 😉

@@MHIKSTV Very glad to get your reply!
I opened the top panel and checked out the two fuses on the top PCB by the power receptacle end and the switch body. They were fine, measured 0 ohms. I also changed the high-voltage PCB board with a brand new one but no difference, no any life sign. So I am looking for its circuit diagram and trying to trace the power upward from the fan, hopefully to get to another point possibly broken. If your experience can help narrow the trouble shooting down, please share your thoughts. Thanks.

@@MrJohnNiu You are always welcome... You mention that you measure the 2 fuses and you get 0 Ohms its means Both Fuses are Open and Blown already , the right Measurements of the fuse should be Shorted! Set your voltmeter to X1 with Beeping Sound, remove the fused and measure again you should here the sound its means there is continuity and connected both ends. If there is no beep then it it means open or blown, you need to replace with a good one.

@@MHIKSTV thanks for the quick reply. I used resistance mode of my multimeter. Say it is set at 200 ohms capacity, when the two poles are apart, the display is O.L.=open line maybe. When they are touched, the reading is 0. So when the fuses were measured along, each gave 0. Their glass was clear and the shining metal lines were straight and solid, no signs of being blown.
Found the diagram. Will measure some of the pins in those J100x connectors. There are many discrepancies in the service manual. The diagram in it does not show J1005 connector but the body of the manual listed J1005 with J1002/4/6. That told you something about how good HP quality and standard were. I suspect J1005 was drawn in the general diagram with J1002 as one but built as two. Thanks again. Love to hear from you.

@@MrJohnNiu See If u measure the both ends of the Fused and Its Shorted then Fused is GOOD but if it no measurement then Its Open = BAD no continuity 😉

Would be nice if we could see where each screw was located. How about getting a camera person to zoom in on each of them, as you use the screwdriver.

Hi @@MHIKSTVI'm currently disassembling the side of my 3600 to reach the cartridge engagement assembly. I mean the 4 parts that expose the cartridge's rollers. I see the 4 motors which I believe I must remove, to be able to see the mechanism I need to repair.
The fault: that 4 part mechanism is failing to raise the 4 cartridge flaps, when the transfer unit is pushed closed with the front door. For the moment I can't determine which screws will remove the 4 motors part, to export the part I need to see. If you have any advice, please reply thanks.
This is the bit I'd like to see: ruclips.net/user/shorts22NX7G8FkaU
But they do not show how they got to this part

@@djtyrosyes you need to remove the main drive motor assy to reach the Lever Engagement Lock, make sure that before u remove the main drive u know the timing of the gear otherwise it give your error and printer cannot be able to continue to operate.

@@MHIKSTV Hi, I have recently removed the motor assembly, and I haven't made a note of anything other than how to put it back together. What timings are you specifically talking about?
I haven't reassembled it yet, so please let me know when I need to check and fix before reassembling.
I have determined the original fault, and it's an easy fix. But it sounds like when I reassemble, I'll have a new problem? Please let me know. Thanks

@@djtyrosthere is a tining on the white plastic gear just follow the arrow, if not follow you face another error due to timing.

Lever has a broken Part or the Cart. Lock is remove or Broken, that is why spring contacts not touch toner conencted properly that cause to show Toner not Engage, open the side cover and look which Lock is broken and checo the Lever which has going UP and Down when you open the Front Door. Both part are cause issue.
