This reminds me of a time years ago at home. We put the teaser ram out...and come to find out five months later, there was an obvious malfunction in his surgery...yes, he sired a great deal of lambs for us that year :) Oooops
To me it would make sense to use a teaser of a completely different breed, visually distinct from the rest of your flock….perhaps Zwartbles or Jacobs or Portland or Tunis or Dutch Spotted….anything that you could literally identify from miles away. You could see him work from along way away, and make it harder for him to hide when it’s time for the working rams to go in.
