- I'M SHOCKED GHEE butter did THIS to my hair!! These were some unexpected results. Whether you want to try ghee butter for hair growth, or just use it as a hair treatment, you'll definitely have moisturized hair after using hair butter. Having low porosity hair, it's a little difficult to find products that can penetrate my strands well, so thicker products such as butters are perfect to wash day.

Hey Lovlies. I've tried my fair share of butters, but this one.... Well you have to watch to find out😉😉
Hi Sister. I am 1/2 Ethiopian. My grandmother is from the Tigray tribe. The butter you used in this video is actually how she used it in her hair, although she made it by hand over the stove. She also infused garlic in it. She was super smart, because it turns out that garlic is really good for hair growth. she had some of the most beautiful hair I have personally seen. She also used as a pre poo.. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Hey! Thank you for sharing your comment. That's a great tip about the garlic. I will have to try that at some point.
I can imagine your grandmother's hair was gorgeous, as the butter was very moisturising xx
Hi what is your other half? I am Oromo. Love you my 🇪🇹 family
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 I like your honesty, I've subscribed
Thanks for sharing that!
Wait did she use it before she shampooed only? Or did she moisturize her scalp with it? Did she do hot oil treatments with it?
I’ve used normal butter in my hair for a month the growth was crazy!
You told no lies. We are not about the frizz. I tried Ethiopian hair butter last week. I really liked it and will be doing it again. Love the video 😊
Thank you hun. Yeah this one was ummm…. 🥴.
Thank you for watching 😉
I am going to try this ! I’ll add rosemary, peppermint and some Ayurvedic powder
If you bake then you know if you over beat cream it will split and turn into butter no water necessary you can separate the buttermilk for baking muffins etc but you will get a more tangible butter- if you do add water you only need about 60mls
I’m going to try it tonight and mix it with honey and moringa. But first I’ll detox with a bentonite/rhassoul mask.
I think the results was brilliant. I will try it.
I just love your videos!!
Thank you 🙏🏾🙌🏾. Glad you’re enjoying the channel x
Thanks for sharing your results with ghee. From my little bit of research, when women of East Asian descent use ghee they combine it with a bit of coconut oil. Also I believe they leave it on for far longer. You have very beautiful hair and I love your explanation of how it was applied. Maybe try again just tweaking your methods?
You’re welcome and thank you for your comment. I will definitely try that method.
Thank you!
Hi, Ms. Laura! Thanks for the video. I realize I am a late caller. Ghee is used within skincare, shampoo and others.
What I do know is most products that are grown(from the ground or trees)or processed and marketed. If we are able to digest it, also, we should be able to apply in other places as within the scalp, and certainly results should develop. However, that product may/may not produce as expected but possibly adding or exchanging within the process something different.
Hey sis, very interesting i didn't know we could use butter on our hair .you learn something new every day ❤🙏🏿
Hey girly. One of my subscribers put me onto the Ethiopian hair butter and I loved it. I love the fact that these traditions are still practiced to this day.
Thank you for watching Serena x
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 you know what sis, i belive most of the old traditions stuff is better for our natural hair. Alot of what they sell in shops has to much nonsense in it ❤🙏🏿
Hey fam across the ocean 🌊 I have ghee in my pantry and was going to use it for the hair but I’m glad you shared your vid hun! I loved the vid you did with organic cream bc it worked out better than the butter! Although cream is made from butter😳Anyhoo fam, imma stick to the milk/cream version bc I loved the outcome better. Before Shea Moisture changed their formula that milk was my “holy grail!” Now I bought my grease and am on the train fam🙋🏽♀️💕❤️💝Keep ‘em coming love ya❤️
I think it takes away frizz after a long-term usage.
Thank you so much for your video I wonder what would happen if you put ghee in your hair so now I will just do it as a hot oil treatment🤗
You’re welcome Lethia. 👍🏽
Please is ghee a heavy butter or light butter
Very pretty, I wish I could braid☹️
What do you do to get rid of the smell?
Try ghee on rice so good I’m going to try this thanks sis
How to on cook or on
@@lovelyunicorn610 what? You crazy
We don’t use ghee, it’s actually churned butter 😅 you can make it with double cream, that’s the closest you can get! People think it’s ghee because some spices are added and it changes the smell
Hiya,Do yoi mean just regular churned butter from the grocery store?I've been natural for awhile now,and have the hardest time keeping my hair moisturized..Wondering if this would help...
@@selomekebour3439 where are you from
I think if you use it as a prepoo with some rosemary, garlic and then wash it out
Thank you for that tip. 👌🏾
How is gee good on the skin
Vanessa James look-a-like😮😮😮
This protein made my hair fall
Out am
Protein sensitive never again
O,ok,great to know..
Funny because ghee is pure fat, no protein.
I’ve never heard of Ghee butter and I didn’t like the results on your hair. I’m always fighting frizz so that product is not for me also.👍🏽😃💙💚❤️💜
I definitely wasn’t of fan of this one Earlene🥴.
It’s edible sorry not for hair
Olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, rosemary, garlic, onions, bananas, mayonaise, eggs etc are all edible. All the products that exist today started with raw, mostly edible ingredients.
Hey fam across the ocean 🌊 I just saw this vid🫣today don’t know what happened 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️Anyhoo I got ghee in my cupboard will see how it works💝Might try it not sure🤭🫣
