@@APEXGuerillaYes, Vince did and said many questionable things both on and off camera. However, some people's experiences with an individual will not be everyone's. For example, there are many women who have had less than favorable interactions with Vince McMahon and there are many men who can both testify to this, and also in different ways have had similar experiences. With this being said however, there are still plenty of people who will still go up to bat for Vince's name because he showed love and compassion towards them.
Vince's ideas worked at the time they had to, because otherwise he would have gone out of business. The first time was with the very first WrestleMania and the second during the MondayNightWars. In between when things where going well because of Sponsors and TV deals, he just did what he was pleased to do. What he enjoyed and not the fans. Vince gave freedom to the ones he could trust to do the right thing. But he had to oversee other people’s work because they were not trusted. The people complaining about Vince have probably never been a CEO of a billion dollar company. You have to be the way he was in order to do what he has done.
Most promoters probably don't get Broken Matt Hardy. AEW wouldn't let him do it at all.
