- My new kicker ramp is huge - Big tricks on my dirt jump MTB! - I build a new take off for my huge airbag to get prepared and learn some tricks before the Audi Nines freeride MTB event! Would you hit this?
With the Audi Nines event just around the corner I felt it was time to blow up my huge airbag to re-learn some tricks for the only freeride MTB event of the year that is taking place in Germany next week. The Audi Nines event takes place inside a huge quarry where a team of builders have made the most amazing slopestyle course i've ever seen and we will spend a whole week there shredding and getting sick video's and photos! The tricks I had in mind were all big variations that I haven't done on my dirt jump mountain bike for a long time. The new ramp looks huge but is actually only a small sized contest take off and you can expect to see way bigger jumps at the audi nines event! After sorting out the ramp I switch the video up to show you a crazy set up I made in order to re-learn another big trick that I was in fact the first guy to do it on MTB! After jumping in to the water we go back to the field where I end up landing loads of cool tricks, but which one was your favourite?

The amount of preparation and the desire to do these super rad stunts is amazing. Sam you are the man! I used to dream (dreams!) of doing things like this when I rode as a teenager in 80's and 90's. We got kicked off a lot of properties and built a lot of sketchy stuff, but you are taking it to a whole nother level. I live vicariously through you my man..thanks. You are brilliant!!

Every video Sam does something more ridiculous.. like I keep expecting it to plateau, then am watching black-flips into rivers off scaffolding. Epic.
It's easy to forget when you see the smaller urban tricks but when you see stuff like this you realise that Sam's actually a whole different level to most other riders.
