Thank you Ashley for this info. I began slowly to resell in the middle of last year and am picking up my game this year. Already had my best sales week. Sold 5 items for almost $1000 and profited about $700. You have helped me tremendously. Love to you and your pup!❤️
Hey Ashley! I love starting my Wednesday watching your videos. Your example about spending $40 on 1 item to make $30 opposed to buying cheaper items that will sit longer and may not make that $30 as fast is eye opening. In my business, I spend $4 to make $7 and it is aggregated over 6 months time to see a full return. It is also wayyy more work processing and shipping. Because of this video I may dip my toes in high dollar flips. Thanks!
I don't know where you live to know what you have access to, but at my Goodwill I am able to find items that I make $30-$60 profit on. I actually don't pickup anything that I can't make at least that with, and that's been my bar from the beginning. Regular prices for items are $6.50 to $11 (for dresses and blazers.) If you don't already spend a few hours at your thrift store to look up different things, I very much recommend it. You may find there's better inventory where you're already going, just that it costs a little more for it.
@@n.s.8015 I live in a place where Kohls is considered Designer, Target is Macy's, and Walmart is still Walmart. If could net $30-$60 on the 24 items I sell a day I'd buy Red Bulls everyday instead of the cheaper energy drinks like Venoms.
This was amazing Ashley! I’ve been trying to tap into this exact strategy but was all scrambled up about how to do it. “Don’t put all your RISKS in one basket.” Your execution of this info was everything and it was so helpful!
@@reclothcollection5142 Me too! I also purchased your data analysis spreadsheet and I had some trouble understanding and unlocking some columns. I emailed you regarding this but also wanted to mention it here as well.
I love the idea of moving to almost all high end items but I will say that lower sale items move faster & have less risk if returned (I sell mostly on ebay, some posh). But the high end sales I pay up for that make high profits are exciting! I wonder if buying your guide would be of benefit for someone like me, who's been reselling for years & has a ton of experience... I would love to move to all high end...
Hi Marie! How fast something moves does not always have to do with the price! I have so many lower priced items that are sitting or haven’t moved as fast as my higher items. Its all about how in demand it is. The guide goes over how to identity these type of pieces and sourcing strategies. So if that is what you are needing then you could!
Ashley great advice on so many levels. I just set up a Posh account yesterday and already do not like all this excessive mail of sharing. I posted 6 items to get started and supposedly had a sale. Not! Question, how do I set up the bank routing on this site. Sure its simple but being so new at this - need help. Sourcing is not a problem I am a home organizer, so there's always a handful of SUPER FINDS. Love your baby especially the tail in the screen. Thanks
Great video for starters! I personally started with my own personal items then started going to the bins/ goodwill stores. Now I’m online souring and going to try out Buffalo exchange ❤️ very possible for anyone!
As a beginner reseller I made the choice to sell only on Poshmark for now , so as I’m getting started what are the best less expensive Thermal printers to buy ? I only have a iPad and iPhone , eventually I will invest on a computer, but for now I’m limited to what I am able to start with. What would your best advice be for a beginner reseller ?
I have only used the dymo and rollo, so I cannot speak on other brands! In terms of best advice, it would be to really make sure you are researching brands and styles and be picky from the start so you dont end up with a bunch of inventory you need to liquidate!
@@reclothcollection5142 Thank you so much for the advice, thank goodness I’m very familiar with a lot of brands. I’ve been doing this for quite some time, but I was only selling to a friends consignment shop, but thought I really need to start doing this on my own to make more money, I’ve been in fashion for many years so that helps with what’s in demand. Thank you so much for your reply.
Thx for vid , just need help with my inventory tracking , taxes , ect… all the not fun stuff . The rest I love lol . Reselling for 5 years online but always at the buy sell trade ;)
Hi just wanna know and trying to find answer about reselling rules or policies. Just wanna know how people buy and resell the products, doesn’t it have tags and all ? Can we resell an item which has tags. Mostly all products will have right , if buying from any places other than wholesalers?
Congrats, but you are 21 or 22 years old? What long term business strategies can you have? A pretty face always gets the clicks, but seriously, congratulations.

You have such a good thing going for you, its all about having your process and numbers down (like you do) and repeating from there!

Girlfriend…this was informative. You got straight to the point and the info was logical and precise.
I think I would like to know more on what you source exactly and how . Thank you.
Love your video , your strategy makes a lot of sense.
Thank you!!

Hi Ashley,
Is the posh starter guide going to be available soon?
Not anytime in the near future! There have been a lot of changes with Posh and I haven’t had time to work on it!
Thank you thank you thank you!
What are some examples of buy sell trade stores?
Thank you. Savy
How do you find the online sources you mentioned? Just started in September..
I source on a lot of the resale platforms!
How many items a week do you shoot for listing/sourcing?
About 5 new per day!
Girl, write off that annual credit card fee on your taxes! 😊
Omg you are right! I totally forgot about that!!
In my area I found better stuff at the thrift stores than bst.
Everyone stores are different!
Just get to the point ffs…

Were you expecting her to respond to you after that comment, pig?
Well she sold $200,000+ in one year so there’s that!!
