@@dragonite773 thats true. When i rewatched it i thought the whole time this was supposed to be kids show? The meaning of the show and the story are way better then from teen shows that are now on netflix etc
@@0709ange It also doesn't get afraid to get dark. The Fire Nation is terrifying and has elements of historical tyrannical dictatorships. The show just takes chances and gets them right every time. Oh and Zuko's arc is a masterclass in development. Also, can we appreciate the strong female characters like Toph and Azula? Showing the audience their strength w/o telling or preaching. Brilliant. And modern show/movie writers should take notes tbh.
That scene where he's screaming in a storm, asking to get struck by lightning, that always makes me cry. "C'mon, strike me, you've never held back before" That's when he's at rock bottom, peak loneliness, and the most defeated. It breaks my heart every time.
Zuko is literally the most amazing Character I have ever seen on any media. Amazing backstory, amazing growth, an amazing smile , a personality that made people wanna hang out with him the minute they got to know him
youre just saying that because you like his character so well, but in reality you wouldnt want to hang out with zuko especially before his transformation, he was a hothead, always angry, bitter, negative vibe and chose wrong over good
Zuko's arc was so well done and is one of the greatest parts of ATLA. So much in depth character building and his journey and redemption was arguably more interesting than Aang's destiny of restoring order.
I stride from zuko knowing that he was apart of the avatar story because I look at him and then I realize he was one of the reasons angg became powerfull enought to defeat firelord ozai
Yep and is funny how they went from enemies to friends/teacher and because of that in the legend of Korra they had more of a balance they literally changed history it wasn't easy but he proved in the process ppl could change he became the person his uncle iroh knew he could be.
I come back to this every time I need some motivation. Zuko's arc has made me believe that even if we have majorly messed up in our lives, we can still define our destinies and restore our honor by choosing to do what's right.
I'll be honest, Zukos always been my favorite character. He has the best character change and redemption that you wouldn't find in really any other character in the series or even most other shows and movies for that matter.
Azulon didn't hate zuko persay he only looked down at him cause there was azula when they left the throne room and it was ozai and him he became angry and gave ozai a punishment
That moment when he is shouting at the storm begging it to hit him with lightning saying "You've never held back before" and crying. That was the moment I realised how amazing of a character he was.
This was so beautiful, I cried. For Zuko is was my fav character when I was a kid, and now he is the most relatable character. Best character after Uncle Iroh in the entire series.
Okay, but I screamed when you cut from Zuko kneeling in front of Lee to Zuko kneeling in front of Katara I- And also how you contrasted his emotional reactions with Jin, Mai, and Katara -- the life he couldve had if he was normal, the life he thought he wanted, and the life he chose for himself -- mm, that's the good stuff
Zuko is honestly one of the best written characters i’ve ever seen. His character development is incredible, he went from a major antagonist to a main protagonist.
This is the single greatest edit I have seen for any show. It hits me straight in the gut. Perfect lines, perfect song, perfect editing. Gives me goosebumps. 11/10
Zuko will always be my number one favorite character. We watched him grow into the best version of himself, and we learned that growth takes time and patience. Not only that but if we want growth to happen in our lives we need to be patient with ourselves, even when things seem impossible or like the whole universe is against us. I love avatar the last air bender so much, and I don’t ever think that I’ll forget about the series.
"There is hope the avatar has returned" In a funny way, the avatar was his hope, he just didn't realise that hope for what it actually was till much later
The 17 people who didn't like this still haven't found their honor. Words cannot describe the feeling I got from this video. I guess just motivation and just... I see why all the girls faun over Zuko now. Damn... So cool, such great character development and this just showed all of that in such a brilliant way. Enormous respect for how long that must've taken to compile all those clips together in a kick ass way. 👍🏻👌
He’s my favorite character out of the entire avatar universe. He has my respect & love. He’s so relatable bc like a lot of traditional families, it’s extremely difficult to break off of those family ties that put an extraordinary amount of pressure on you, especially a man, to continue the family legacy. Every so often, though, that chain is broken though the realization & courage, of that one member. I love you Prince Zuko, even if you’re only a fictional character. You are real to me.
Wow. I’ve watched this three times. The shot of Ozai firing lighting at Zuko was important to put, first because it looks down right amazing and second it is a pivotal moment in Zuko’s story when he finally realizes that he needed to do the right thing
This edit is so professional and blows most other edits I’ve seen out of the water. I can’t imagine any better clips for any spot. The drop at 1:16 was insane, and the way all this was all molded together is INSANE! Good work :)
I love the voiceover of Zuko talking about gaining honor through doing what's right with the two contrasted scenes of Zuko taking the lightning strike for Katara and then where he is yelling for the storm to strike him. He overcame his inner imbalance and could now redirect lightning, but it was his honor, in the end, that saved Katara.
All this time he was lost because he didn’t know what he wanted from his life and other people around him. But that doesn’t mean it would’ve been better for him to know 🙃❤️
Zuko has probably felt more pain than maybe anyone in that show, they all struggled with their demons but he struggled with finding who he was and what he wanted. He was lost and that made his character that much more compelling
