I really like that so far Kuro is making constellations be "A bit more dmg" and thats it, instead of locking part of essential character kit or major convenience behind C2, looking at you, Hu Tao, Neuvilette, etc... So yeah, i would take "disappointing" constellations over "necessary" ones any day of the week...
Hsr is starting to do this too. I'm really sad.
To early to do that, a year after release might come true.
Also back in cbt 2, they do this to chalcaro S2 which locked his intro ult animation 🤭
as a Thoma main i felt that (i know he's 4 star but dang still C3, 1 cons left to be useful instead of running with battery just for that ER)
Iirc Jiyan dupes x6 does around double the damage in his rotation compared to 0 dupes, same goes to Jinshi, which is kinda shit ton more than just a bit. But yeah, nothing substantial is locked... Kinda? Some chars got team buffing abilities locked behind the dupes, which could potentially increase the damage even more. So, i think you're understate dupes in this game, a bit...
@Engitsu double dam aint a whole lot. For how much ur spending. All these char function fine without their dupes. Unlike hsr or genshin where dupes can change an entire characters playstyle and team comp. Killing a boss twice or a bit fadter than twice aint gonna add shit when u can already clear it in a good enough amount of time required.
I don't like your mentality of wanting a perfect partner with anyone. I think that's what makes dead characters in Genshin (or just make some characters feel bad to use in teams because unoptimal). WuWa having allot of versatile characters makes it so 3 dps can feel nice.
Jiangxing is evidence of what happens when you want a character to do everything (main dps, support and quickswap dps) she is fine, but so close to being a bad 5* if you tweak her power even a little.
Some people want mono element teams to be not an option, which is hilarious, it's like not wanting element reactions in genshin, not to mention mono element teams are also possible in genshin, kuro knows what they are doing, she is flexible in different teams

The hybrid outro is for the character to be flexible for other teams.
It would more flexible if it is just skill dmg. How many skill dmg characters vs how many ice dmg characters.

@@Sunwaker We have two skill users in Jinhsi and Changli, while rumours say we're getting a glacio DPS in 1.3, Zhezhi will be a good fit.
@@Sunwaker that's a very near-sighted way of viewing things. If i want to run zhezhi with sanhua, that skill dmg is basically pointless but that glacio is way more useful.
It would be even weirder if zhezhi was exclusively for jinhsi as if she can't be her own character else where.. the only reason ppl keep throwing her with jinhsi is because there aren't many characters who do coordinated attacks.
She will only be flexible now. The moment more focused buffers will come out, Zhezhi is going to be absolute garbage if she buffs a little bit of this and that. The only hope for her not to become painfully powercrept is a future glacio dps, one who does most of his dmg with the skill. If this char doesn't come out, Zhezi is unfortunately going to become useless
I pray that I could get Changli but if I fail then I'm fine with Zhezhi, she looks like a lot of fun and could make an already broken chara stronger
Edit: So here is my take on Zhezhi, you have to consider her design not just from the perspective of a player but as the dev of the game where you need to not only sell the character but also countless future character in the future. Jinshi is already the strongest character in the game and able to sht on even the hardest content with ease at lvl 80, at max level with max talent level etc she would be able to destroy everything unless they resist her element. Zhezhi existance is to be a slight upgrade or a sidegrade to Yinlin and Yuanwu. I mean, I beat tower with lvl 40 Taoqi and Yuanwu support so an upgrade to Yuanwu is a big deal. This mean they can sell Zhezhi to minmaxer without making her a must pull and further increase the distance in current Meta, they prob want to keep Jinshi as the ceiling until 2.0 or so, if they are smart they will only update Jinshi after her team got powercrept by other team in the future. They can also sell Zhezhi for anyone who want to play Lingyang to shorten the gap in the team DPS or any future Glacio chara as well. Split scaller outro is perfect for sub dps to make them able to buff and be an extremely powerful support to a certain character while leaving it open to work with other chara just like how Yinlin work with Jinshi or Havoc Rover rn despite her being designed to be with Calc.
This is my prediction for the future as someone who have played PGR for a long time (their previous game). I can kinda guess how Kuro will behave in short term. I really hope they don't follow PGR example and keep powercreep to the minimum like GI did to extent the lifecycle of the older chara and allow people to use them without feeling like they are losing too much. In PGR some chara have only half a year to a year of a lifecycle (with rare 2 year+) before they get powercrept and be replaced by a chara that is much stronger than them. As much as I dislike GI, I still respect the genius in their Meta/power level design and how they are able to sell a chara for multiple years and make bank instead of pushing people to only care about new chara and making them much more powerful that they are not even comparable to older chara like in PGR/HI3, ofc we almost reach that point with Neuv and Arle but at C0R0 they are still within reason as older DPS still have the ability to clear the newer harder content, since GI weapon RNG is insane most F2P will not or cannot aim for it and cons is less so but still a pain to get for low spender but GI do lean more toward rewarding low spender and dolphin and not just whale (C1-2+R1) and making them a pretty sizable powerspike compared to before when only C4-6 is huge upgrade which is quite an issue that hopefully WW will not folow.
It's nice that you have real in depth information on Zhezhi and her usage as well as points to whether one should pull her or not based on other factors.
I feel like I should be more like you in a sense. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the" if see very pretty character with cool attacks on pulling" mentality.

If ZheZhi herself has good damage numbers, another team that will be very strong is ZheZhi, Shanhua, and Baizhu.

Whats with mono? I always see people wanting mono that mono this......does that have any relevance in fight ? Cause......you won't beat dmg only just matching colours..
@@mahimraihan2235 Well in gacha action combat games the strongest achetypes tend to be mono elemental.
5:55 I couldn't disagree more. A majority of Changli's damage is resonance skill damage. Her heavy attack "Flaming Sacrifice" is considered skill damage. Both true sight charge and true sight conquest count as skill damage. She does weave in a few basics to gain true sight stacks, but basic attacks are not a significant portion of her damage output.
Zhezhi will work just fine for Changli. I will admit however that Jinhsi will be able to make better use of her overall because of the off fielding she provides. I'll be using Zhezhi for Changli since she provides a solid alternative to Taoqi.
I've calculated Changli with Zhezhi, and assumimg she has Zhezhi's Skill DMG Deepen only 60% of her total damage output is considered skill damage, so Zhezhi's less stellar personal damage starts to lose to Yinlin
I need to correct you in one thing tho. Yinlin's coordinated attacks don't need to come in the end of the rotation, that's mostly decided on how you do your rotation. If you build enough forte for yinlin in the opening, like, let's say, get yinlin's intro, skill twice, swap out to verina, build verina's outro, then intro with yinlin again, u'll already have full forte. U can then use your punishment mark, then proceed to use E twice again, liberation, your four attacks, and your forte will be pretty much full again, then you can outro to your main dps. Next time yinlin comes, and for the rest of the fight, she will have full forte at the beggining of her rotation, and you then do her normal rotation to build forte for the next cycle, instead of building for the actual cycle. i've been doing it with jinhsi, and it's not a big dps decrase since you only lose like 5 seconds on the opening to do yinlin's outro + skill twice.
while this is true, the possibility of your cooldowns not being alligned properly is very real so I don't consider it very viable

What about if the enemies die.....you know the mobs...it's really annoying. Another reason why trial Jinshi can't be used properly cause yinlin would already kill the small fries removing the mark .@@mattheusspoo
@@mahimraihan2235 yes, weak enemies die and her mark is removed, im not saying yinlin is better than zhezhi for jinhsi, im just saying that her coordinated attacks dont need to start at the end of her combo.
@@mattheusspoo oh I didn't mean anything. I found out 2-3 days earlier when scraping astrites and tried trial Jinshi. Was curious to see how yinlin performs with her but just couldn't keep it up
See I don’t think Yinlin’s value is gonna decrease bc we still got Xiangli Yao in this upcoming update too and if anything I feel like she’ll pair better with him than she would with Jinhsi or Changli simply because he’s (afaik) an Electro DPS with higher numbers than Calcharo
Which is so irritating because calcharo was nerfed and has an amazing aesthetic. Instead of unnerfing him which would put him on par with Jiyan atleast when paired with yinlin they just release his replacement and offer it free? I’m happy Yao is going to be strong given I hear he’s free but nerfing calcharo felt unnecessary atp when I see videos of Jinshi casually doing 250k on a short rotation come on and then add a new electro to bench calcharo? It just feels so rediculous.

@@ChrisUchiha7 maybe because I like calcharos actual design, aesthetic (the standoffish silent hero, and I enjoy reading the backstory lore of characters how he was a misunderstood underdog who fights for his people. Feels like such a waste to throw his character away I suppose.

Pretty L take, her Glacio buffing makes her also useful in a glacio team so no changes needed, making gacha characters specifically to buff one single character is cringe.

I am pulling her for danjin… yes I know most of her damage comes from her forte heavy attack while skill dmg comes in second, but I am dedicated. Literally pulling changli’s weapon JUST for her bc standard sword is glued to my rover

Especially true when playing Danjin with Havoc Rover. He needs that standard 5star sword too, so they can't share it unless they are on different teams.
even for encore, zhezhi's rectifier is a victim to stringmaster, because the basic attack dmg bonus from zhezhi's weapon is on skill cast, not skill damage, so encore can only proc 12% basic attack from it instead of 36%, meaning it's 12% attack + 12% basic atk bonus from zhezhi's weapon against 12% fusion dmg + 24% attack from stringmaster
not only that, but since encore is a standard unit with no crit rate sub skills, she will not be able to reach 80 crit rate even if you had max rolls, and realistically you wouldn't even reach 70% without stringmaster
It depends on your rotation with encore. If you skill than cancel it before ulting, you can use skill again after ulting resulting in 2 stacks instead of one.
Imo, by keeping her kit as it is still keeps jinhsi future proof as there’s still the possibility of kuro releasing a spectro dmg increase on top of skill dmg
Your take that they should replace glacio on her outro to just a higher skill dmg buff is shortsighted n narrow. There’s a thing called BALANCE in the game that the devs understand - with all due respect - much better apparently than yourself.
He wants one team to overshadow everything and everything else is useless "something that genshin is notorious for" kuro wants team variety and options for different teams, the team building this way becomes a matter of what you like to play, without making characters a must play, we only need more healer supporters now, although Baizhi at S6 will be pretty dam good for glacio teams "27% more damage deepen overall per heal for 30 seconds "

They aren't. Zhezhi's personal damage is quite a bit lower than Yinlin's, and Changli's skill dmg doesnt do 60%+ of her damage, closer to just 60%

stacking her stacks is is capped at 1 stack per like 2 secs or sum so any off field will work and yinlin does so mutch dmg that she will likely still be jinhsis best support, dps from another character is better than buffing your main dps every time
not when the Main DPS in question is the best DPS in the game

I think this is about the best jinshi sub dps we're gonna get any time soon. Seems like 5 star sub dps is just x damage deepen + their attribute deepen. But you dont want spectro coordinated attacker. Right now only the 4 star sub dps have the one type of damage deepen so maybe in the future we get a 4 star that does not buff attribute but is a coordinated attacker. Originally in the game files zhezhi was pure skill damage deepen but then they changed it. So I think they really want to keep these archetypes or move away from one damage deepen entirely.

I believe that you know that changli's enhanced basics are considered skill dmg, her enhanced heavy atk is skill damage, and her skill obviously, her normal basics hit like wet noodles anyway and not buffing her ult is still okay, but I would rate like 66~70% of changli's dmg is skill dmg (btw no math done just intuition)
well, you underestimate changli's basics amd ultimate then! Even with Zhezhi's buff, my calculations get about 60% of her dmg being skill, and since Zhezhi's personal damage loses out to yinlin by a significant margin it becomes very close
@@ThundahPrime fair enough, I think that an advantage zhezhi also has above yinlin is not being locked to single wave, with yinlin after the enemies are dead you need to apply her mark again (dunno exactly how fast she can do) but with zhezhi being able to provide her attacks even if you send the first wave to Jesus is good, but being tied to an ultimate still sucks

Probably you are not familiar with how Kuro design their unit but when they release a unit like this, yes it can be use and be good for Jinhsi, but also for a future team in mind, no change needed, they know what they are doing 😂

Yinlin and Zhezhi's elemental damage bonuses are simply Kuro telling us that there will be characters of thoe elements that will benefit from them later. Simple. I sense a Raiden Shogun and Ayaka clone in future patches.
I really want to pull for her as I liked the design a lot. Sadly I think it would make my team overall worse since I use spectro rover for jinhsi, the rotations would be too long, and I'd have to play perfect to always get zhezhi's outro on jinhsi. I'll still pull for her anyways.

Damn. Now im conflicted. I main Lingyang and Im conflicted whether I want to replace Sanhua's 38% BA DMG Deepen for Zhezhi.
I could go for Lingyang/Zhezhi/Sanhua Team comp if Zhezhi's Outro Skill doesn't lose its effect when switched. But that would cost me Verina's Shield, Healing and Bonus ATK.
I wish Zhezhi can heal.
@@orimu836 Zhezhi is going to lead to more damage, but you gotta consider if it's worth the pulls. Sanhua and Zhezhi are going to have similar damage output but Zhezhi's buff is overall stronger.
@@ThundahPrime I see. Then my only problem now is to decide whether I should pull for her or save my Radiants for Changli. Zhezhi and Changli's animation and effects are so beautiful. There's no way I wouldn't pull for both. But my Radiant Tide stock is very limited.

Do you know that Changli's kit converts the damage from most of her kit during the fort buff into skill damage?
@@axlt6819 While her True Sight and Forte Heavy count as skill damage, yes, her basics, ult and regular heavy are also a good portion of her damage, and because Zhezhi's personal damage isn't as high as Yinlin, Yinlin wins

@@ThundahPrime she is but very hard to play with Jinhsi. Also, I have S3 Jinhsi, and to be able to stack 2 intros I need to play super fast and supports have to get minimal time in fight. If I play Yinlin I can't manage that. But that's a different story and doesn't apply to S0 Jinhsi

Glacio depen is kinda waste if you partner jinshi to it so maybe zhezhi is kinda support for next glacio dps in 1.3
If you want team for jinshi team i would suggest jinshi yuanwu verina/baizhi

I don't think she will do much more than yinlin for jinhsi, she will provide more skill damage yes, and maybe in concept faster acces to Coordinated Attacks (if you don't use yinlin properly or without enough energy), but there is also the risk of her not dealing enough damage to keep up with yinlin, and her kit design shows that she is obviously made with the intention to support a cryo skill oriented main DPS while still being able to be fitted in other team, so saying that she is made for jinhsi is a bit shortsighted.

I mean, the crit system is simply. for every 1 Crit Rate you should have 2 Crit Damaga, and the same applies for echo and weapon stats. Stringmaster has 500 Base ATK with 36 Crit Rate, Zhezhi's weapon has 500 Base ATK with 72 Crit Damage.
36*2=72
the weapon stats is exactly balanced as other weapons lol. rectifiers have low base atk and high sub stat. string master is the same.
If that is skill dmg deepen she can over buff Jinhsi's hyper beam omhg
Honestly Lingyang doesnt even want that much skill dmg deepen, he wants basic attack boost so really Sanhua benefits off this more ig

Me as an F2P and completed all HOLO and TOA 30 for the past 3 weeks, not sure if my units needs to have a "Perfect Partner" I mean, the game is based on SKILL... If your main has a "Perfect Partner" but your a NOOB on skill then whats the point??? right??
Yes, it is your opinion for content maybe but to tell you.... Practice makes perfect, I had practiced for 2 weeks on dodging and parrying that made me completed all HOLO and TOA...
My mains who helped me completed TOA was Yang Yang, Calcharo, and Danjin 🤣 and the 3 of them are still my mains at this point haha, I just love to play Yang yang because of how cute she is and how she devastate the field
But then again... you do you... my best advise is just practice your FAVORITE unit and all will be well
@@liftingturtle1055 some people like to play 100% optimally. Hell, if someone is a Jinhsi Main they probably want the best supports to use with her.

@@ThundahPrime Just asked the same, Yuanwu stays in fight for few seconds, Verina with ER also stays for a few seconds giving time to Jinhsi S3 to stack twice, if ZheZhi stays in long, then the Jinhsi's outro will delay a lot more. We have like 20 seconds from Jinhsi intro to her next intro to stack the damage twice. Am i right?
