Mahomes, yes. Allen doesn't get very many calls. Burrow gets even less. Remember that play earlier in the season where he was hit in the head and it wasn't called? Agree though that Geno doesn't get calls.
The defense being asleep the first half I’ll chalk up to Mike Mac being a rookie HC and just not having the crew ready for a very good team. The thing that made this game feel impossible was the usual suspect, the O Line is totally non-functional. We can’t get back into games against serious opponents with the QB getting lit up constantly, RBs getting hit in the backfield, or run the Grubb style of offense with no pass-pro. The trenches should be the focus in the offseason. It doesn’t matter whether you got Geno Smith or Agent Smith back there, they can’t compete with what this line is allowing
The realization of how many flaws the o line has that Geno has helped cover up is unsettling to say the least. I knew they were really bad... The fact that they're probably even worse than I thought has me giving up on this season. The fact that Grubb keeps calling slow developing plays in spite of that has me pretty down on him right now too.

While I still believe that it was a remarkable season with a first yr hc coach, If geno has a major injury to his knee I think we need to start the process of finding the next franchise guy. It's frustrating because there isn't much qbs im truly excited about other than milroe, and ward who will be selected early. While you say that if geno has a good to great oline, a good to elite defense, a elite hc and oc, he would be a super bowl caliber qb. My problem is how many teams actually have all those things. Not many. You maybe lucky to have a couple and if or when seattle does get that team is geno still good enough to elevate this team. While I want geno to finish the season I believe Macdonald will want a qb that is more mobile, younger that can turn the offense into what us fans been wanting since seattle drafted jsn, charbonnet, k9 etc. These games in the past two yr make me question if geno is the guy or he causing seattle to be stuck in mediocrity.

It like everyone think that if seattle gets rid of geno it automatically seattle will get worse at the qb position. Yes geno is better than sam. But I cant just give geno a pass when he thrown how many picks in the red zone or when seattle needs geno to step it up it a crap show. And yes the defense should stop reading their press clipping and play defense. I'm not saying get rid geno now. I'm saying that geno's play put seattle at a ceiling. I just don't see seattle wanting keep geno longterm because he can win 8 games. If you can make a shrewd move by getting a young talent with upside like a ward, or a milroe and they turn out to be a jayden daniels it changes the team.
