I'm a Bills fan, but Rich is right. Until we beat KC in the playoffs, the Bills aren't "THE" Super Bowl favorites. Anyone in the media saying that is just trying to get conversation going or trying to manifest it into existence.
I agree that the Bills shouldn't be the favorites because the AFC (I think) has a more difficult road to the playoffs. The Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, and Steelers (if Watt is healthy) will have tougher matchups than the Eagles or Lions. I do think Buffalo's defense is getting too much heat. Yes, the Rams game was horrendous. But in the Lions game, it was 35-14 and ESPN showed a 98% win probability for the Bills at 18 minutes remaining in the game. The Bills, for better or worse, switch to their garbage-time prevent defense and surrender the middle of the field, with the thought being the Lions can score just not quickly and the lead will prove insurmountable. At no point did the win probability for the Bills drop below 92.5%. Even Goff referenced how those last few TDs were scored in garbage-time. Personally I think Bills pulled out the garbage time defense out a drive or 2 too early, but that's on McDermott and Babich, but the defense did what they were asked to do and the 42 points isn't the right way to measure them, imo.
It's funny because Rich is objectively incorrect here. They ARE the FAVORITE. Talking heads and RUclips commentors don't run sportsbooks, so you don't get to play this game. My counter to the Cowboy's playing lights out "for McCarthy" is they weren't playing for him. They were playing for themselves and their futures. Dowdle is trying to get huge numbers in hopes of having a job next year. The same is said for most players of the Cowboys and other teams with losing records. The good play isn't because of McCarthy but in spite of him. On the other hand as a Commanders fan I'd love to see Jerry extend McCarthy.

The Bucs were also depleted at oline and on defense
I don’t think they are consistent enough to be considered Super Bowl contenders, but when their offense is working they can legitimately beat anyone in the NFC, and maybe even the entire NFL, which makes them a really scary team to face in the playoffs since they are so unpredictable.
Quinn Ewers is holding the Longhorns back. Coach Sark needs to grow a pair of nuts and bench him. Saban benched Jalen Hurts in order to win a natty. You gotta know when to make tough choices. The entire country decided for you!
I love what the Lions did yesterday. They never gave up and never surrender d
I love Lions losing as well.
Football overreactions: The Niners would be INSANE to give Brock Purdy 50-60 million a year
Green Bay will make the NFC Championship Game
Entertainment overreaction: after watching Dua Lipa’s concert on CBS, she needs to headline a Super Bowl Halftime Show
That's the going rate for a franchise QB.
The Lions can't afford one more injury.
We lost McNeill, CD III and DMo for the year yesterday
Vikes are the team that controls their destiny for the number 1 seed not Philly..
I love how they forget what the ravens did to the Bills 😂🤣
Every pundit has Bills amnesia.
That was awhile ago. Team is on fire now teams that play like this in December tend to ball out in January
mid teams are easy to forget
MVP race is far from over. Lamar Jackson currently has 37 TDs 3 INTs and 4,320 total yards
My overreaction. Mike McDaniel shouldn’t be a head coach. Great play designs. Terrible play calling. Not a great motivator. Very undisciplined. Bad team structure.
Second round pick on a good team needing to develop a qb for a year or two is better than ending up on a terrible team that is on their 3rd qb in 5 years.
Until u shake the Chiefs dominance the Bills are also rans till that day....Allen is Marino Elway Favre Rothlesburger all in one and it's pretty awesome to watch
id rather Arch go to UNC and play for Bill..that would be insane...imagine going to a UNC game and theres Peyton Eli and Belichick
LMAO Cowboys BEAT THE PANTHERS!!! Talk about an overreaction.
Hit it hit it hit it!
Bills the Super Bowl favorites when they have given up back-to-back 40+ games on defense is tough to imagine. Beat the Chiefs in the playoffs and they are probably that. I would have taken my Lions until we just lost 4 more guys to injury long-term during yesterday's game. Ugh!
It's true, whether you can imagine it or not. Go open your sportsbook and go to "futures".
Lets go Bucs!
The rams only have a 55% chance of making the playoffs, it’s very likely they don’t end up making it. Can Rich please stop sucking them off every show it’s gotten so annoying.
We would love a rematch , our team is too powerful for you Go Rams 🎉🎉🎉
Can the Lions get to the Super Bowl simply by outscoring their opponents despite their defense injuries?
Bills super bowl favorites? hello Philly?!?!?!? Birds will cruise to the super bowl
lol no
There are two teams in the Super Bowl. If somehow Bills get there, the Eagles can be there as well.
3:18 come on Rich it’s not asking if the Bills could lose a game to the Eagles or a rematch with the Lions it’s asking if they are the favorites to go all the way
I cant imagine anyone legitimately thinking buffalo a favorite over philly.
Bills are the best team in the NFL
Offensively yes. Defensively have been abysmal the last few weeks. Need to fix that.
Eagles are clearly the most complete team at this point imo. Their only glaring weakness is at kicker.
The bills were hurting on defense as the Lions were they were a lot of lot of starters
Yeah let a QB learn under Bill like Mac Jones. Brilliant idea Brockmann 🤣
Rams? It will be the Seahawks
Why are we talking about the cowgirls? There’s so much to talk about that actually matters ….
History shows Superbowl champs need some luck and most of their players to be healthy...not just "best" team wins
Not the type of content I expected from a show called Ovary Action but still great nonetheless.
Darnold to the Seahawks this offseason?
Whole Dallas coaching team returns!
That Eagles point is an overreaction and I'll tell you why... it will only go as far as this defense will take them, because the offense is damn near perfect.
Loving the absolute disbelief we’re seeing here with the bills. Lol you can always tell rich was high registered pain explaining the absolute insane likely possibilities that perhaps maybe someone could take down Josh Allen lol.
What if the Cowgirls were to trade Dak and go with Coop?
If you think cowgirl is an insult you never met one
Eisen is starting to lose it! I bet he keeps Bills as 3 or worse on his power rankings! I remember when Rich left the Bills off his top 10 for like 3 weeks! Unbelievable
Are we saying THIS TIME ..IF BUFFALO MAKES IT TO THE SUPER BOWL..WILL BE DIFFERENT...unlike last ( 4) times
Ewers should’ve entered the draft last year when he could’ve capped on his potential I don’t think Ewers even sees day 2 even if he stays another year
Lions defense was terrible yesterday
also check who the Vikings lost to.. just Lions and Rams
