There's something poetic about the Yamatosen,so basically,Yamatosen was based off the Japanese super-Battleship Yamato,which has the largest of it's kind,it was sent on a suicide mission(Operation Tengo) to halt the Americans at Okinawa and buy time for the rest of the Japanese forces to regroup and prepare for the Defense of the Mainland,but instead of meeting the most,if not all of the US Navy in open battle as expected,it would be harassed to death by America's fleet of Mass-produced Aircraft Carriers,doing nothing but provide target practice for the Americans,but here,the Yamatosen managed to not only buy time for the Japanese Army,but managed to throw Woof's plan down the drain,thus doing what it failed to do all those decades ago
As weird as it sounds... It's almost as if the original ship had failed in its mission. However, the spirit of the ship was rebuild, standing tall with full pride, it was beaming with superiority, hogging all the spotlight towards its way - making Wolf think that this was the grand project they were working on. When in reality it was a fancy bait used to buy enough time for people to build the real deal.
I like to think that "spirituality" the ship has finally succeeded in what it was meant to do. Serving almost as a redemption arc many years later, helping a whole new generation of Japanese people in a virtual battlefield.
Regardless of the fact its just a game, for people involved the stakes were no laughing matter.
I'm so glad that this legacy is being shared to thousands of people,
making all their efforts all the more worthwhile

I can't think of anything more Japanese than a group of Japanese minecraft players led by a guy wearing a Japanese vtuber skin who wanted to build a giant monument deadicated to a hundred + year old bunny-girl, said great undertaking using an obsidian Japanese Super-Battleship from World War 2 as their base of operations. This entire construction feels like the plot for an anime and I love it.

For non fans hololive looks like a bunch of sweet anime girls doing streaming. But for fans they're a chaotic group of streamers acting less like an idol and more like a bunch of trolls.
