It's nearing Advent and I was listening to Christmas music and this song started playing. I was entranced by its beauty and stumbled upon this video here. Then I watched it and was mesmerized. Normally when I'm this attentive I tend to bounce my leg or twiddle my fingers. When the video ended I realized that throughout all five minutes and twenty seconds of it I had been still, not twitching, barely even blinking. It was a real reminder of the true meaning behind Christmas - not just presents and gift-wrap, but the birth of the Christ and the journey his parents had to endure. It seems that I had foolishly forgotten that. If this song hadn't come up in my playlist suggested I wouldn't have listened to it, nor would I have found this video and come to terms with this wonderful message - like a wake-up call for me to remember my faith and the true importance of Christmas. Call it what you will... personally I'd like to call it a little miracle :) Just felt like sharing this, I wanted to share an important message. Merry Christmas to all, God Bless!
My boyfriend gave this movie and it really did makes me cry. It made me to think that the hardship we are currently experiencing was in no way to compare with what they (the real royal family) had experienced. This IS Christmas. The birth of Jesus. None of the materialism that we witness every year at Christmas will bring us happiness and peace of mind. Only the grace and love of God will fill the void in your heart and diminish the fear in your soul. We should be humble and we should all try our very best to be as holy as Jesus. To love, respect, and care for each other is the greatest gift we have to offer.

As a mother, I can imagine her fear and the only comfort she could truly get would be from our Heavenly Father. So many questions?...and the world judging and persecuting her..however, there is no denying the Holy Spirit when you come with a contrite, humble heart, asking for answers...you will get them... Thank you Mary for your faith, and as we know now, you were more than adequate to be Christ worldly Mother, you were chosen!

Suffering from severe anxiety attacks that onset when I was 32 years old. The fear was crippling and I could not function most days. I was at work late one night just before Christmas. This portion of the song played over and over again, but only someone who was standing near me could hear it... through a PA speaker that had been broken for 4 or 5 years. it quietly played for 3 days straight, but suddenly stopped. Just that portion has encouraged me through the darkest time in my life and I hope that it can encourage others as well. Don't forget during the holidays that there are many out there suffering with their fears- the fear of homelessness or starving. Perhaps they fear being alone or even suffering severe illness. Be a light to them as well and if you are suffering, please reach out and seek help.

I 'm an Anglican Catholic and while the 2 churches count as Protestant, they are more Orthodox and Catholic than the other Protestant churches. We do have artwork of Mary and follow many saints. We're more liturgical than the Baptist and Methodists. The churches I go to-St Barnabas and St, Hilda (my former church is St.Barnabas and I go there when I can) are not part of the NCC and we use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Call us conservative, compared to the Episcopal, but we have members who left that mainline church because it was far too liberal. I grew up Lutheran and it used to be more conservative at one time. But if you want to go to a church that that's more liberal than ours, than go (but don't try to change our churches to be like yours). Still, I love art and music and "Night of Silence" really inspires me.
Jesus was not alone. He had his parents and he chose his disciples to follow him. They became martyrs because they chose to follow him. Saul gave up his evil background to become Paul. We choose to honour them by making them saints. Jesus Christ is the one with God and the Holy Spirit that we adore the most-which is why we're Christians. Mother Theresa will become a saint for the work she has done as a nun. There are also Anglican Catholic nuns as well.

We choose to honour them by making them saints. Jesus Christ is the one with God and the Holy Spirit that we adore the most-which is why we're Christians. Mother Theresa will become a saint for the work she has done as a nun. There are also Anglican Catholic nuns as well.

Jesus was alone when he took it upon him to bear our sins.Did you forget when God ordered us to worship him alone? the angels which were greater in might refused to be worshiped , they claim to be only servants to God. How are humans any different? I respect and love Peter as my brother in Christ but nothing more. God has said so himself, he is a jealous God
+Virginia Connor Also you do not become saint for what work you have done. Faith is what Jesus asked of us. There's no amount of works we can do to receive the gift of life , it is by God's grace freely given to all.

I am in awe that our Heavenly Father would send His son to be born as a man, live life as a man, and die a criminals death because of His infinite love for mankind. The story of Redemption far surpasses human understanding!
