What a beautiful blessing that Jonny responded to your insecurity about the phone in such a supportive way. Years ago, in what I had thought was a good and respectful way, I told a partner I had those insecurities from a past relationship and he got *wildly* offended and it had a huge impact on our relationship. You said you asked God about whether you should stay or go.. however God says he hates divorce except for sexual immortality or if one spouse is an unbeliever in God and the unbeliever walkes away.. marriage is a covenant before God, its stronger and deeper than a contract. God would not advocate divorce unless it was those reasons above. Also marriage is about both of you serving your spouse.. treating them as better than yourself.. its not about how you 'feel" or information its about commitment and making the sacrifice to be better everyday regardless of who they are.. if you want a better marriage be a better you.. that starts with living and acting biblically .. again.. the bible teaches against divorce but dying to yourself and serving .. its not a selfish 'what about me' deal.. its a self sacrificing deep commitment.
