Hello Diana, your name is very beautiful. Actually, I want to ask you something. I live in Turkey. I graduated from high school. I really want USC for undergraduate education. But my family does not have any financial means. I am currently studying for the SAT exam and improving my English. My question is, does the university offer a 100% scholarship? My high school grade point average is 4.17, but I did not participate in many events. During high school, we could not even go to school for two years due to corona. But I only attended two or so events. I also want to study media and communication. Do you have any information among the things I asked?

I’m extremely interested in USC and it’s my top school right now! I loved this video. What do you think stood out in your supplemental essays? Did you apply early? I’m a senior currently, class of 2023, I really hope I get in :).
I highly suggest researching specific courses, programs, clubs, or organizations that you can see yourself being a part of on campus. They want to know why USC and not other schools, they want to see that you did your research. What will YOU bring to USC that others can't? For instance, I mentioned my lack of experience in film because of representation and how I want to create films that represent my community. I also mentioned I want to be part of their BCA program because it combines the two things I'm interested in (business and film). I also mentioned specific clubs that I saw myself getting involved with such as Hermanas Unidas. I did apply early, but didn't get in until regular decision. Hope this helps! Best of luck.

USC is my dream school... except i live in a completely different continent and my parents are completely against with me studying abroad...so oof..wish me luck, im gonna need it to convince them!
Hi ! I just saw your video and I’m happy I’ve done so ! I’d like to get into USC for fall 2025 as an international students in a double major in dance and global studies, I do know that the dance major is amazing but do you know if the global studies program is also well-considered, I haven’t been able to find anything about it (except from USC’s website ofc) Have a nice day and keep on going with you videos, gonna watch the rest of them ahah 🤭
Your safe as far as we know now because the bathroom camera biology professor was forced to resign, just don’t go to Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga where he’s at now. Bio students from 2012-16 need to know their professor has recordings of them using the restroom and everything that goes on in the privacy of a restroom.
Not me thinking about USC because of this USC admission thing happening at NYC. But I do wanna pursue USC as like a college option you know? Mostly Graphic Design... and I've seen USC sports graphic on there. Hopefully I get accepted and they pay for my financial aid as well! Because I'm a low incomeeee. Great Video of USC!
And also Photography as well??? I dont know but I heard about there film making that you mentioned earlier! Like its #1 over there and it's known for like actors there too. So hopefully they can accept as a option for me to go there! But my top 1 right now is UMBC in Maryland.
@@dianizz Hi Hi, just went to the admission…the only thing I was actually interested in was the USC Roski of Art and Design, nothing much from it…but USC is probably not the best fit for me. Instead I’ll still with UMBC in Maryland. Thanks for the video though!!
Unfortunately, international students are not eligible to receive federal or USC need-based financial aid. However, you may be awarded merit scholarships and/or other departmental awards.
I hope you see this message and help me out. I am currently at community college and don’t know if USC would be right for me. I want to be a stem major so hopefully USC is what I should strive for. 😊

It's not this program for me then which is best program for me.Can you share me your experience about college. And more info about the university.
Thank you so much, great video!! So how long are the metro drives for example to Santa Monica pier or Beverly Hills and how long do you need to walk from your dorm to the metro? Also, are uber drives in Los Angeles expensive and save?
Thank you! The metro was like a 5 minute walk from my dorm. It really depends which dorms you choose but the metro is right across the street from USC. To get to Santa Monica or Beverly Hills it’s about an hour long metro ride! As for Uber prices, it really depends on traffic so I would recommend ordering Ubers when there’s less traffic so it’s cheaper. For the most part all my Uber experiences have been safe but take a buddy with you anywhere you go just to be cautious or share your location with a family member or friend!
Hey, I’m planning on applying to USC as a Business in Cinematic Arts major and I was wondering what you think of the program. What are some classes or experiences that have stood out to you and how has it helped you in terms of preparing you for a career? Thank you so much
Hi Gebril! So far I really enjoy the program because everyone is in a "cohort" so most of us are placed in the same cinema classes & we've gotten closer and that's what the entertainment industry (and majority of industries) are about. It's about who you KNOW. So it's definitely pushed me to meet others within the program and get to know them. I'm taking The Movie Business class this semester and have learned so much about agencies and managers. The professor himself is also in the industry so it's great to be able to learn from someone like him! He brings in speakers also working in the industry, so there are multiple networking opportunities. We are also required to have an internship in the Spring semester of our sophomore year so it has pushed me to research and not procrastinate with internships. Best of luck
do you know ANY information about USC wrestling team and wrestling club ??. please I've been trying to find any info about the team but I can't find it. I'm VERY interested in joining USC wrestling club and then move onto the wrestling team.
What was your GPA in high school?? And what GPA do you need to pass?? I really want to go to this school, but my grades suck, is it worth the effort? Will they care??
I had a 4.0 unweighted and about 4.5 weighted! I think colleges really care if you’re a well-rounded student. You don’t need straight As, I know people that got into USC being B students but they were really involved in their high school and community. I also know other students with straight As that didn’t do much extra curricular that didn’t get into USC. Can I ask what grade you’re in?
Hi!! Such a helpful video!! BCA has been my dream for the last two years & I just got accepted into Marshall yesterday! What was the process of getting into the program? (I applied, but I'm not sure if BCA is a program later in the year or I just didnt get in lmaooo 😭)
Hey I applied to USC BCA and like you, got in just three days ago. Idk 100% but in your like "congratulation you got in" letter, it should say ur major and school. It should say Business of Cinematic Arts B.S. if you applied to USC with BCA as your first choice major. I heard your can't transfer into BCA during later years and you can only get in from high school. Idk tbh lmk
@@AdityaMishra-pm3xw Congrats!!! I was admitted for Business administration which was my second choice, so that makes sense- tysm for the feedback! (I might just minor in entertainment industry or cinematic arts now lmao)

Thanks for sharing! I'm admitted to an undergraduate accounting major and hopefully I'll be there this fall. The greatest concern for me is the expensive fees but I'll try to get scholarships or financial aids. Would that be very hard? Plus, hope we can be friends if I attend USC.
Congratulations!! I recommend applying to local scholarships based on your city & background. For instance, I search for college scholarships for latina undocumented students. The more specific the scholarship, the higher chance you'll get them because fewer people can qualify/apply. Best of luck

Hi I applied to usc early action and I have two questions for the financial aid and you said they wanted you to pay 10k did you have to reach out to FA and ask them to lower it or did they already lower it before you came and also is your dining hall swipes can be sued for cafes around campus and how do you like the food
Hi! I personally reached out to financial aid for various reasons but if you have a low EFC and meet the requirements for their affordability initiative then it automatically will be lower. It just took a while for scholarships and grant to be accounted for. They adjust the meal swipes every year. My freshman year I was able to use them for any place on campus but now they have limited to to certain places. The food is pretty average but you have many options!!
Yes ^ also your academic advisor can help you create a course schedule to prolong your undergraduate requirements so you pay undergraduate tuition instead of grad tuition!!
I just got accepted so thank you for this! I just had one question: I’m going in as an Anthropology major, however I am thinking of switching my major into Business Admin. I still want to do something with Anthropology, but is that possible? How easy is it to switch into Marshall from Dornsife?
I heard there’s lots of gate keeping for lower income students. I’m a FGLI student too, and already submitted my ea app for USC. Whats that like and does it get frustrating /overwhelming ?
Congratulations on submitting your app! The FGLI students are all very welcoming here. We all bond over our struggles and try our best to help each other. College is overwhelming and being a first-generation student just adds to it. My best advice is to find a group of friends who relate to you and understand your struggles. Support systems are very when it comes to college.
omg i want to do business in cinematic arts too! any advice on getting into that? i have business experience but no film experience but the program is something i want to explore/
@@samarthr24 I applied to Marshall and after I got in they sent me an email about BCA. It was a separate but short application with 3-4 response questions. I’m not sure if the process changed

I'm planning on making a video on how i got into USC soon so stay tuned! But for now I'll say that I had straight As in high school and was also involved in clubs outside of school + held leadership positions.
Honestly I just never went out lol but when I did I took the metro or split an uber with my friends. You don't need money to have fun, it's more about the company! Plus, there's a lot of free and inexpensive things you can do in LA. Also, if you're working I suggest putting 20% of each paycheck towards entertainment.
i think the season pass was like $200 or $300 but some people would sell an individual game ticket for as low as $10 for games no one really cared about
@@dianizz hi, thank you for making this video it was so helpful. I’m also a prospective transfer and I’d love to ask your friends a few questions as transfer students if that’s ok?
@@dianizz Awesome, thank you! So first, did they include extracurriculares from high school and/or lower? I’m currently a freshman in college but I haven’t done anything until recently, (just starting to get involved with activities specific to my major). My background is mainly sports, like I was a gymnast until I was 13 and then track athlete until I graduated so I’m wondering if I should include that, because I don’t really have any other experiences other than sports? I’ve also been volunteering with a wounded-veteran service organization since middle school so I’m wondering if it’s ok include that as well?
@@trinele111 Hi, I think most colleges only care about the activities you did in high school however if it impacted your life (for example: being a gymnast) then I’m sure you can write about that in your essays.
@@dianizz oh you say it’s a great school with diversity, yet you say there’s there’s racism (because you are separated in the dorms)? You even say white girls were being racist because they look down on you? Which one is it? Is it a great school or are you just being racist yourself? You also said that professors are all white? Not true. There’s a lot of “other” professors. Basically, because they don’t look like you and what you came from, then it’s exclusively white and racist. USC is a diverse school but it’s not full of only white people and they’re racist. What you say is mutually exclusive. You can’t say professors are all white and white girls look at you wrong then they’re racist; and also say it’s a great school with dorms for all people of all races and all types of people. You might want to be careful what you say because you come across ignorant, immature, and racist yourself. Separate the facts from your feelings. Just because someone looks at you different or look different doesn’t make them racist. If you were white, you’d be considered racist. This content, you said, is for people that look like you? Think about that. You sound insecure. I’m brown like you, but referring to people as racist and school not being diverse and then saying there’s a place for all races is contradicting yourself.
USC is not diverse? USC Demographic breakdown: Asians 19.3% Black 5.8% Hispanic 15.3% White 24.8% Foreign 26.6% Perhaps this is a perception based on who you choose to hang around with, not the reality of the campus? I have found USC to be extremely diverse in opinions and ethnicities. Diversity doesn’t mean every box is the same color and every gift inside it is the same. Every person is unique no matter their color, their sex or their beliefs. They all have human values just like you though. Even those with whom you stereotype. I have never entered a class at USC, noticed the person who was teaching it was a different color than me and thought I have nothing to learn from this person because I looked nothing like them. Hopefully overtime you will learn that what a person looks like on the outside does not mean they can’t give you something that will help you on your inside… You may think you’re open minded, but from your video I take it you have a very closed mind. Good luck with what you do in life and I hope you grow to understand this over time as you become more wise…
Where did she say she had nothing to learn from them? She shared her experience with the lack of diversity among staff and the contrast from her high school experience. I don't know your background or your life experiences, but your comment feels intentionally ignorant of what she was trying to say.

And was that roller skating event expensive to go to? 7:43 there's so much, I think when high school starts next year, waiting 4 years until I'm able to apply will be the death of mine😭 8:19 my popcorn is ready 🥲🍿 9:04 WHAT😀 10:53 please tell me it's not that bad thogh😭 My grades used to be so bad, but then we got a teacher who knew how to teach and I was one of the best students. Imagining failing my class bc of a prof sounds kinda scary🕳👩🏽🦯 Can you still kinda understand what they're saying or is it that bad, you have to watch explanations on youtube🥲 12:15 was it from afar or did they come up to you and shame you? And does it happen very often? I personally can't deal rlly good with racism so I wanna make sure there isn't too much of that.😭 I reached the end of the video and js wanted to say that I loved this. This is probably one of the only videos where I didn't have to skip every second bc they just couldn't get to the point🥲 Thank you so much for this informative video! :)
Thank you, that means a lot!! There’s events like everyday (some small others big) & the roller skating event was FREE. As for the professors, if you go to office hours they are willing to help you with any material you don’t understand but I just end watching RUclips videos lol; also the racist remarks were from afar but you can just feel the energy but they don’t happen too often, it’s just happened like twice

Hi ! I just saw your video and I’m happy I’ve done so !
I’d like to get into USC for fall 2025 as an international students in a double major in dance and global studies, I do know that the dance major is amazing but do you know if the global studies program is also well-considered, I haven’t been able to find anything about it (except from USC’s website ofc)
Have a nice day and keep on going with you videos, gonna watch the rest of them ahah 🤭
How safe would you say the metro is? At least compared to the USC buses. I've committed to USC and won't be taking a car there
Your safe as far as we know now because the bathroom camera biology professor was forced to resign, just don’t go to Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga where he’s at now.
Yes, USC is the #1 film school in the US! You should definitely apply. Are you currently a senior?
@@dianizz Hi Hi, just went to the admission…the only thing I was actually interested in was the USC Roski of Art and Design, nothing much from it…but USC is probably not the best fit for me. Instead I’ll still with UMBC in Maryland. Thanks for the video though!!

Unfortunately, international students are not eligible to receive federal or USC need-based financial aid. However, you may be awarded merit scholarships and/or other departmental awards.
I live in New England and I’m really considering if its worth it
I hope you see this message and help me out. I am currently at community college and don’t know if USC would be right for me. I want to be a stem major so hopefully USC is what I should strive for.

@@dianizz thank you so much!

Are you sure that in progressive degrees you still get undergraduate tuition

@@yoop2179 From what I've seen international students move to dorms, suites, apartments, etc... Really just depends on their budget/ financial aid.

I’ve also been volunteering with a wounded-veteran service organization since middle school so I’m wondering if it’s ok include that as well?

You keep contradicting yourself
In what ways!?
USC CRINGE 😬🤢🤮
USC is not diverse?
USC Demographic breakdown:
Asians 19.3%
Black 5.8%
Hispanic 15.3%
White 24.8%
Foreign 26.6%
Perhaps this is a perception based on who you choose to hang around with, not the reality of the campus?
I have found USC to be extremely diverse in opinions and ethnicities.
Diversity doesn’t mean every box is the same color and every gift inside it is the same.
Every person is unique no matter their color, their sex or their beliefs.
They all have human values just like you though.
Even those with whom you stereotype.
I have never entered a class at USC, noticed the person who was teaching it was a different color than me and thought I have nothing to learn from this person because I looked nothing like them.
Hopefully overtime you will learn that what a person looks like on the outside does not mean they can’t give you something that will help you on your inside…
You may think you’re open minded, but from your video I take it you have a very closed mind.
Good luck to you young lady
