I have lived on the central coast most of my life. Now reside in Morro Bay. I can see the rock from my house and I love it.
How fortunate was I to have chosen Cal Poly as the college I attended. I was there in the early 80's and your video brought back so many great memories. Since college I have traveled the country extensively and have to say that the Central Coast is by far my favorite area.
It is an incredible part of the country.
Seems these days I head to STM and VT to calm my soul and remember all the beauty in our world. Thank you.
You and John are absolutely my favorite UTube creators. You are as sweet and beautiful as the content you share. Thanks for all your effort.
That’s sweet of you but here is a small channel that is worthy of that praise (although content has been diminished because of COVID: ruclips.net/video/nuUt--Rl6xc/видео.html
Its been 30 yrs since last i saw that area. Still beautiful. Thank you.
I lived in Morro Bay for 24 years and it is breathtaking. My son still lives and works there.❤️
We all need a relative living in paradise so we can mooch dock.
Till those arasaka goons decided to ruin all of watson with their waterfront, now im out of work and i cant get out of northside :c
Another great video. Thank You. Nice music too. Good information.
Watched your video, grabbed my camera, and immediately took off to ragged point. I've been to big sur but never stopped here..thank you for sharing!
We live in Los Osos just south of Morro Bay and feel so blessed to live here.
You are living in a slice of paradise.
🙌🏽🙌🏽 All of your videos are great but I was especially moved by this one. The ocean does it for me and the seals 🦭 & other wildlife were an added bonus! I loved your music selection as well. The bowls you purchased are gorgeous. Thanks for taking us along!😊
This trip reminded us that we should do more coastal trips.
@@FromShetoMe Definitely! 😊
There is a fabulous fish restaurant on the coast - Sea Chest? first come first served - then there is Linn’s Lolaberry Pies in downtown Cambria.
You got me at pie.
The Lollaberry Pie is excellent especially with vanilla ice cream.
Yes, Sea Chest.
This is my community and I enjoyed watching your video. MBSP is my go to for local camping. Thanks so much for showing the beautiful central coast!😀🌿
Very good film, like a movie.
This was an amazing episode. The camera work, the music, the locations. Top notch!
This is the very best video and music content I’ve seen! Great job!
We were there last Saturday to Monday. We stayed in that campground!!
Central Coast..Best part of CA. Getting back there in a few weeks. Can't wait.
Great video. You just keep getting better and better.
California coast is so beautiful! My Mom & I drove the PCH from southern to northern about 10 yrs ago. California has been our favorite state for vacation!
Thank you for great videos. Blessings
Ocean, water, beach ... Being an "Aquarius" I love your excellent i-pictures of your perfectly structured coastal trip. Thanks a lot.
Love you guys, living the life
Lived in Cambria back in the 70’s - moved to the Midwest have never gone back. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful it is! I plan to travel back someday and enjoy the site!
I’m sure it will be bittersweet.
I’m at Morro Bay and watching this again to get some ideas on what to do. This is such a great campground. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Everything about this video was awesome! Loved those purple flowers! And the seals! Poison oak...yikes!
Spent a lot of time in that area in my younger years. Thanks for good memories.
I needed this today...thank you.
One of my favorites!!! Music was awesome as well. Thank you!
Thank you!
Beautiful Vlog ….. in every way! Thank You!
Love Salmon creek!
Great video, l haven't been down. That coast since the 60's. Nice to see it's still "wild".
You had some wonderful photography in this video! I missed seeing you cook for John! Thanks for sharing a fabulous beach trip!
Oh my. That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Great video💯👌
We love the Central coast of California (our favorite). Mostly unspoiled and less crowded 👍
Thanks for taking us along and sharing.
Safe travels
Beautiful photography. Definitely on my bucket list. Thank you 🚐
Beautiful shots of all the amazing beauty in nature. Thank you.
Was in and around that whole coastal region in 2008 after my wife passed and I was convinced to come to PMTC to work. Been a while and thanks for the reminder of its beauty and need to go back. Oh, those door magnets in the window coverings are tough to pull off, so I slide them off.
Glad nights are warming up and I won’t need to use that one for awhile.
Wow another video that took my breath away!! Love love California Central Coast. You live in such a beautiful state!! I think I can spend all day with those elephant seals. The snakes scared me. I like the bowl or cup that you bought
We actually went back the next day and spent the afternoon there.
You have very nice travels. We were north of where you were in April of 2018 on our western trip. We did go to Carmel River State Beach and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park and to Dog Hole Ports point of interest and while driving south (saw no trespassing and loitering signs for El Sur Ranch towards Big Sur) but could only get part way further south on 1 due to a road closure. Also saw kite surfers and lots of pretty flowers. Later saw elephant seals in San Francisco on a floating dock.
Traveling with dogs limits going to some places.
Been awhile since we’ve driven Hwy 1 to SF. So much to see.
Those coastal shots are gorgeous! Love little out of the way places! Love the straw hat 👒!
BEST video yet!! The music really flowed with the beautiful central coast shots Debbie and John. Susie and I will be up there next month for her son's graduation at SLO.
Will you be camping? 😂
@@FromShetoMe not this time. Susie made reservations at a resort lol. But having the Pleasure Way up there will be nice 😊
This is my town!
Incredible photography! California is a beautiful state.
Wow what a great video!! I'm going to Morro Bay next week for some desperate soul searching since my husband's passing last year. So thank you so much for this.
If you haven't already been there, and if they are open, Hearst Castle is a great tour.
@@FromShetoMe I have been there but it's been many years. Thanks for the reply.
Wonderful video! Thanks for bringing back memories of times I've spent in this same area. Of all the places I've visited in my lifetime, I've never returned more times anywhere else than this part of California's Central Coast. It is just absolutely one of the most idyllic areas on this earth, and you do a great job of capturing that in your video.
Just excellent video! Govenor Newsom should definitely appointment you as California's State Travel Ambassador!
Those were three perfect days, well except for the snakes! Beautiful scenery and the seals! Fantastic. Thanks for taking us along.
Great episode! I love Morro Bay too.
Your videos make my soul happy! Thank you for sharing the journey.
Debbie, thanks for going to the beaches. That’s on my “Bucket List”. California tourism should hire you!
I was born and raised in Morro Bay. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job showing the beauty of the area. Would have liked to see some of the Embarcadero and the rock. Beautiful statue gifted to the town by the Women’s Commercial Fishing Association. “For those Who Wait”
Subscribing to your channel to see where we can go....
Jaw-dropping coastal views, trails (looks snake-y😂)! Really loved how you showed the diversity of land between the E Sierras and the coast. I love those drives where you crest or descend a pass and it feels like you’ve entered another dimension. Thanks for the escape.
Nice 👍 Thanks for sharing your travels.
That was excellent. Thank you 😊
Morro Bay was our go- to!! Loved it.
What a fantastic video, the history, gardens, videography etc was just perfect. You made me want to go to every stop. Thank you! Sorry no Ice Cream :).
Ice cream is my downfall.
I just started watching your video after it popped up in my feed. Thank You so much! We just moved here last October from Central Fl and just made it over to Cambria and Morro Bay about a month ago and It was beautiful
Welcome to our little community. So much to see and do out in this part of the world.
@@FromShetoMe Thank you
I wish I could give you more than one thumbs-up video. Beautiful! Your videos alway are worth sharing.
I feel the same about my viewers. I so appreciate all of you.
Love it thanks for sharing
I feel blessed to live in the Central Coast of California. Great choice in music 🎶 ❤
Me, too!
@@nancydaybyday5153 is there much fire smoke in summer. I'm in CA and looking to move down south near water.
@@Oilofmercy I live in Morro Bay ... we rarely get smoke from the major fires in Northern and Southern California. Fires in the Big Sir area have generated some smoke, but it does not linger.
Loved this so much and great tips of where to go! I felt Morro Bay was so spiritual when we went there. Just found your vlogs so will watch more. ❤
Thanks and Welcome.
Such a great video! Thanks from one John and Debbie to another! You're videos are always an inspiration!
Informative video, this will be my guide when we visit this beautiful area of California. Thank you to both of you.
Very nice video! What a great trip !Beautiful! I love the elephant seals!
Another good episode....
Love the California Central Coast. Nice that you came across waterfalls as the year has been particularly dry.
Yes, timing is everything and a storm had just moved through.
Beautiful video. I love the Harmony pottery. Also like your shirt so much I copied and ordered one myself!
Beautifully done. Nice way to start our day. Thanks!
Great photos! I've lived on the Central Coast for years and it's rare to see a snake. You must be lucky! We are better known for bird watching and the otters, sea lions, and whales. I enjoyed seeing familiar sights and it's always fun to see what visitors discover.
Somewhere down in the comments for this video there was a hilarious comment about snakes.
Lovely video. What a beautiful day you had for exploring
Thank you again for sharing your amazing adventure with us 😊
The seals are wonderful! Debbie your videos get better and better! So enjoyable and informational! Exactly what Chuck and I love to do campong...hiking and siteseeing. Great choice on the bills! I love pottery 🥰
Loved this inspiring vlog! You’re voice and background music are very relaxing.
Great job you two capturing the splendor of this area. Been there a couple times and it is difficult to translate what you experience into a video. You did a great job. Too bad we dont have smell-o-vision yet as that would complete the experience. Your video quality just keeps getting better. Keep up the good work, we appreciate you.
Thanks Frank. A friend told me that lots of times the elephant seal area is pretty stinky. We didn't experience that, or maybe I'm just used to living with John. 😅
BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!! I was raised in Morro Bay, and played at the beach in Cayucos. Thank you for this! 🙏🌹❤️
Another great video. Love the new pottery bowls.
Beautiful video!!!!!
Wonderful episode!! Thank you
Getting away from the cold and just spent a week on the central coast. Went to the Brown Butter Cookie Company yesterday and the cookies are delicious!!
Another wonderful video. Love the Coast. We are on Monterey Bay right now, but no sunny weather this week. Amazing how many elephant seals were there! When we were there in Dec. 2018 we saw an incredible fight between males. Thanks for sharing several sights to see next time we’re in the area.
We are definitely going back to see the big dudes.
Thanks for the recommendations! My family and I will be going this July.
another great video, thanks
Love this video.
Wonderful, loved it.
Nicely done! Can't wait to get to the west coast again. Safe travels.
So beautiful 😍
My in laws retired in Cayucos...and my sis had purchased a small home in Cambria....I know that area well..isnt it breathtaking
What a great place to live.
Hi Mary, what hill did your sister purchase on in Cambria?
I don't remember..sorry
Very nice video.
Loved this!
In the early years of the elephant seals Beach , no parking lot or trails you just had to park on the side of the road much better now 👍
Yes, they have done a great job for both humans and wildlife.
Wonderful and beautiful area! Hopefully some day these areas will be open again. Right now many of the hiking trails in the Central Coast area are still closed due to damage from the heavy rains in early 2023.
Awesome reporting as usual!! Thank you! Will put it on my list. Going down south in my brand new Lexor that just fell on my lap. Making an appointment to get the Sumo something that you guys got to lift up the suspension. Need to research your vlogs to get the details & make appointment.
Agile doesn’t work on the RAM chassis but check out Owl vans because they might. I think they have a couple of shops in California.
My wife and I were "United in Harmony" at the Harmony Wedding Chapel!!
I’m late to the vid, but I finally found some time👍
You guys make wonderful informative content. Thanks for sharing! Sub'd!
Thanks and welcome.
We love this section of the coast - an absolute favorite area! We haven’t been there for a few years, so this was such a pleasure to watch. But now you tell me there is a live cam for the elephant seals? So much for productivity... Oh but the rattlesnake 🥺 so worried about them where we are parked for a bit. Anyway - loved this!
I thought about you guys as we travelled your neck of the woods.
@@FromShetoMe we are set up in Somis for a few months. Let me know if you are in the area again!
Ok, thanks.
Greetings from Alabama. Debbie, your videographic and editing skills are in full bloom in this work. The B roll is stunning and the story is well told. Even that good looking guy with you fits in. Well done!
Thanks. I keep working toward better video. Kind of hit and miss sometimes. But I enjoy learning from the experts and am becoming a better observer.
Yep thats why i live here
Thanks for a great video! I just got a little teardrop camping trailer and spent last night planning small trips (from Eastern L.A. County) for 2021. The Central Coast was already on my list for April, but you gave me some great ideas for activities!
We were just talking about Morro Bay and desire to return. Tons of campgrounds north of the State Park on Highway 1 that looked really nice.
