I used to sit next to this guy in secondary school he was always relatively quiet, after the murder I never seen him show tho to school ever again, till this day I’ve only ever seen him once around east Croydon coming off the train or boarding the train towards Brighton.

Self defence or not, knowing that you've ended another mans life has to do something to you mentally.. Im sure he thinks about that incident at least once everyday and defo had a few nightmares about the situation.. no matter how much u try to hide it this has to fuck with mans head at times.. This situation has angered me on several fronts. Firstly i have very limited exposure to this particular incident, and i'm speaking as an outsider.
The main issue at hand that shouldn't be lost is a young man lost his life which shouldn't be forgotten. The gentleman speaking on this issue clearly has been ill advised on several fronts to even speak on this. No1. He was a child when this incident occurred, which has allowed him keep analymity up until the point of him telling us this. Which begs the question why? There seems to be nothing possible to gain other than notoriety in my books. Throughout this whole interview he hasn't expressed much remorse, only what looks like exuberance. Now some may argue that he seeks it to be a cautionary tale, if so i believe it shouldn't have been in this manner. So it goes like this, senseless violence will only stop being perpetrated if it's not perpetuated by things like this. We need to have better advisors on the part of people like this, and better based intellectual conversations surrounding sensitive topics. If im inflamed and i don't even know the deceased, imagine how his family must feel.

A similar thing to this incident happened to me a house party when I was a teenager everyone was smoking and drinking for some reason someone tried to hit me with a bottle I don't even remember picking up the knife the injuries that are other guy will basically on his hands and arms as I was just trying to defend myself also I did not bring the knife to the party myself but there was blood all over the walls fat coming out of one of the cuts I was like a couple of millimetres away from killing him I even knew the guys that's phone number and called him of a house phone in the house because I knew he would be quicker than the ambulance the guy had to go for emergency surgery for everyone kept tight and I never got arrested people don't realise how quick this can happen even though it was over 20 years ago I still remember that I walk home lying in my bed not wanting to call anyone for more information because I felt that may have incriminated myself as I was under the impression everyone would be getting questioned by the police
