@ShiftaelV2 you are doing a great service with your tracklists.
They increase my enjoyment!
Thank you~
very good.........................
I bought this album in 1969 or 70 in Woolworth's for about two dollars. Misplaced it over the years moving and then was thinking about it around two weeks ago and didn't find it on RUclips...now thanks to you this gem is here...Thank-You.
I bought this rare LP in Mexico City imported from USA, without knowing anything about Green, it was cheap and me loved the songs, used to listen all the tracks often specially "Footprints in the snow" but never heard anything of the band afterwards. Strange... Now here I find some bonus tracks and they surprised me more. 51 years ago!
I don't know the group, but I see 1969, I listen.
Im with you!
Haha same here, that's like a natural rule !
Definitely! I'm with you, but I've extended my range from 1969 to 1971 :-)
@@brianpietrantonio8590 1969 to 1972
Same!
This album kind of surprised me. Most of the tracks are pretty catchy and they have that late '60s early '70s, enthusiasm and exuberance with a hint of psychedelia that I love. Thank you for the upload!
Wow..Texas????REALLY...They must have done acid in Canterbury ..for real...pretty good lost jewell..Thanksomuch...
Is there anywhere to go to learn more about these guys?
Lone Star psych. The San Francisco of the south. Texas contributed greatly to psychedelia from pop psych to heavy acid rock.
They had the flower power scene going on. Great garage bands from every part of the state creating great music. Texas made its presence known in the genre of psychedelic rock..
The Best Dream is Green
Great LP
I would like it if the yearly tradition of Austin Psychedelic Festival (don't remember the exactly correct name) was still kept up.
Although (as I 'm living in Germany) probably I won't get the chance to get close. But the photos and advertisment art I saw, were actually exciting and beautiful.
@@annettefeldner7819
I'm assuming you were from Austin. I'm from Chicago but I know TX rocked and still rocks.
@@annettefeldner7819
Hello, I'm from Chicago and I know TX rocks. The festival you mentioned sounds like I would have enjoyed it. Too many great psych bands to mention. As I'm writing this I'm thinking of Fever Tree from Houston. They had a song that cracked the Billboard Top 100. It was
SanFrancisco Girls 1968.
Take care fellow psych fan.
@@thomassmith8721 I think it was because of some internet research, concerning the Moving Sidewalks and the Black Angels, how I came across the fact, that this Austin Psych Fest takes place. [meanwhile it's named "Levitation" in order to honor Roky Erickson (who has sadly passed away in april 2019). But in 2015 The Thirteenth Floor Elevators still celebrated their 50th band anniversairy at this yearly event in Austin Texas.]
Me myself just had the chance to watch some videos on y.t. as I 'm living on a different continent. You might decide, to take the chance of attending it this year. 😃 But I think often there are more obstacles to be overcome, than "only" relatively large distances.
RUclips / Google are both: a curse and a blessing. But it's great that I (here in Germany) can talk to You (in Chicago), about a festival (in Texas), on the occasion of our love for psychedelic music, about which (the festival) I wouldn't know nothing, without the sources, internet provides (where I will also check out the song You mentioned) ( • < °)
Kind wishes to You and Yours from Germany.
@@annettefeldner7819 Christian Bland's guitar & the Black Angels have been my fav . Austin Psych fest lives ; ^)
i'm gonna bet that the dude higher up in the tree is the drummer
Thebestdream I had always contemplating what is best in what was produced in the past ... without your collaboration we would never have this opportunity ... thank you very much!👊🏼
Richtig abgefahrene Musik, absolut geil!🤩😎🤩I love it!
From a treasure trove; your library is much appreciated, sir.
Very, very cool. Thanks for wonderful music
Been looking for this band for like 20+ years. Richard Gardzina taught me saxophone at a music camp in high school and I could never find this band called "Green" until now.
IN 1975 I BUY 700 CUTS THIS WAS ONE OF THEM BUT IT'S HISTORY THANKS FOR THIS FLASHBACK
The melodic and harmonic work of this album is something fantastic... Thanks for the post!
Wish these guys had a hit even a minor one they could have been big.
Another forgotten American rock band from
Texas.
Do you know if the members formed another band? They are really great musicians.
Dig the title track!😎✌🏽☮️🎸
Denmark releases were some of the greatest check them...you will love them.
Wishing I grew up with this music in the Seventies instead of Cliff Richard ... sigh
quelle belle année pour,la musique 69
c'est vrai !
Clásico sonido de los 60s. Muy bueno
Artist: Green

We would be fried and this guy would say while spaced out lol would say A aday keeps the brain cells away,,,,✌
Cheers again for another gift musically dude🎸
Awesome album thanks for uploading this 🙂
I think your band rehearsed at our house in Topanga in 1968 or 69 and the tree on your album was in our yard. mike.
This album is almost holy.
In what way?
This is Amazing!!
I've been looking for an album by a Boston group named Listen. Can't find even a mention anywhere.
With a name like "Listen" ... it must be rather challenging to google-search!
Are you sure its not "Listening"?.. the band that wrote "Stoned is"?
TOP 6 SONGS FROM FIRST LISTEN

Thanks for sharing all this great music !!! Never knew this group existed!!
What a gem!!
Another CD to add to my 'want' list...haven't bothered to look up vinyl value yet...
🤘👹👹👹👹👹👹🤘Świetny doskonały rock.
Tak, Pan Janusz!
I can finally hear an album from you again. They have been blocked by me for weeks
"Footprints In The Snow" ...oh lord! aaaah love it!
I saw this in a shop today so I looked em up here....now I'm going to go back and grab the lp! I really like this one.
чоткий психодел!😀
Thats how you learn of great music and good old sounds...3 quarters of music is not heard and that makes no sense to me.
I always play 2nd side first with the awesome title track
Pra mim, quanto mais a década de 60 a 70, melhor.
Raw "unpolished" 60's vibes 👍
how can you fit all those keyboards in a garage? even 2 car would be tight. this is the second lp in a row with no guitar listed.
longest without a guitar for me. both albums are good but withdrawal is setting in.
Open your ears, my friend. You can hear guitars on the recordings... Even if it's not listed in the credits. For example, on the Uriah Heep record SALISBURY, no guitarist (Mick Box!) is listed in the credits.
It sounds green...
Texas ❤❤🎉🎉
Buen album de principio a fin.
wow , that's a great one!!!!
Awesome!
amazing album
Thanks very much for this discovery dating from the year of my birth.
Nice record TY
Great music! Love it! How can you not love a band whose percussion player is named Gary Casebeer! I think I'll enjoy a case of beer while listening to this album.
Кружка пива заменяет удар по печени.
Пиво невозможно.
А Gary Casebeer барабанил действительно отлично!
I belive he was replaced by John Acidtaker or maybe it was Phil Bigtoker
Love this channel
Thank you !
this is some top shlock~ how the fucj aint is the #1/.?
Recommended by YT but never heard of them or their music. Tried to listen but not impressed.
I liked the album cover until I realized that tree had little or no "GREEN" leaves (Fall/Winter?). This album is about 2 years behind music trends of the time. Otherwise the music has me intrigued. Got potential with more listens.
Gary "Casebeer"? Uh huh. Great album, though!
