    I lost my faith in SKF in the early noughties when I bought a sealed bottom bracket for my mountain bike. It creaked from day one, and was a little bit loose on the non-drive side (I believe the cup was machined too loose a fit for the bottom bracket body). I took it back thinking they'd honour the warranty, and apparently it was sent abroad (to Germany?) to be tested. I was informed that it was machined to their tolerances and as far as they were concerned there was nothing wrong with their product. That would have been the best part of 20 years ago now, I've bought Enduro bearings ever since. I know I used to put a huge amount of torque through the bottom bracket, but it shouldn't creak if it's properly made. Way to go SKF, that's how you alienate customers. 🤔

    Awesome! I haven't had the best experience with Autodoc, incorrect parts and they take too long to ship, but when they get it right they're definitely good on price. Laura's German is better than mine! Lovely vid guys 👍

    I won't be dealing with this company either sold me a power steering pump for my honda accord ic-tdi it was faulty they refused to refund me

    AUTODOC is a company to avoid if my experience is anything to go by. They supplied parts for my Alfa 156 which amounted to hundreds of £s in value, that turned out not to be compatible with my car even though they were adamant they were. The only way to communicate with this company is live chat of which I must have had a dozen or more. They passed me from one person to another without resolving the problem. I only got a refund from them when I threatened legal action against them. Please think twice before using this company. There are lots of reviews on the net about this company that sound similar to my experience with them.

    • @WhitelandRestorations
      @WhitelandRestorations  Год назад +3

      We've had a couple of bad orders from them....head gasket folded in half to fit into a box being one example! Getting refunds out of them is hard work but it's hard not to take a gamble when the prices are so cheap. If our orders are over £100 we always use a credit card to get extra protection in case any order goes wrong

      Tried twice with Autodoc, both times very slow delivery, damaged boxes, and also used Hermes / Evri - returned both times. Full refunds within 48hrs.
