Are those made with 3 2x8s? The height seems perfect.

Actually they are 3 x 8’ and I LOVE the height! We built them out of (Kiln) Doug Fur Wood and added hardware cloth to the underside to keep pests (mostly gophers) out.

This may seem silly to you I found some book cases on the side of the road that my neighbor was getting rid of so I thought make them into raise beds, now I just need to fill them up ,😂

@@luckycatcreations thank you for answering! I like to recycle what I can for the garden, I just hope they will last a few years , I live in arizona and it's very hot here in summer, I even found an old rocken horse and I have that it tied to the front yard fence,,

I love it!! 😍 I don’t think anything lasts super long in Arizona because of our extremely hot summers…but I should think you will get at least a few years out of it! I came across this article a few months ago of someone who repurposed a dresser the same way, I will include in case you want to check out what they did…

Your welcome! I live in Gilbert…lots of gophers in my location which is why I feel raised garden beds work best. 👍🏻 where abouts are you in Az? I’m loving all the rain we’ve been getting!
