Please leave the GOAT thing alone - The era of the big 3 so fresh in all our minds proves that there is a long road to that mountain top and Novak will be sitting on top of it for a long time yet - at the moment we have Jannik and Carlos, but there are some really exciting young prospects coming up/ DYOR - remember the progression from Roger/Nadal then Novak and then Andy showed up along with Stan etc - so my advice to Carlos and Jannik is rack up as many as you can now because it's only going to get harder- even Novak is still well in the picture - 2023 took a lot for the 37 yr old version so I'm hoping he only plays the 2 x 1000's in Beijing and Paris/ misses the ATP finals ( he's won 7 ) and comes into next years Aussie open fresh and injury free - if so we may all get another reminder of who the GOAT is, just like we did at the Olympics ...... having said that I note that Jannik is the closest to 'the Novak mindset' on the horizon at the moment - he gave us a glimpse of that in the way he handled all the B/S flak he took over the doping thing - I respect everything about him and wish him all the best....
