you're probably the closest I've heard somebody get to the temuera morrison accent and tone, but it's mostly the Dee voice which is also great. Gives me flashback
I'm impressed sound and visual wise especially since this only took a month. I think you should revisit this and touch up sound and visualwise do a remaster. Cause I noticed the gear clanking sometimes overpowers the audio. Also lore wise I'd just say that your clones hesitate a little too much. It's still really good and I get the inspiration taken from real soldiers. But functionally speaking they weren't like normal people the Kaminoans bred out the parts of the human psyche responsible for fear in clone troopers so they wouldn't hesitate when order 66 came it was only their attachments with their Jedi that determined their survival. Same in general with combat against droids, basically like instinct for them especially a gen 1 clones from Geonosis. They were killing machines unlike the other batches who maybe had a 2 or 3 years training. Gen 1 had 10 years to prepare and at the time they also didn't know who they would be fighting so they were trained in everything from hand to hand combat (a variety of styles from across the galaxy), counter terrorism/roit training, and espionage. It's for that reason that many Gen 1 troopers went on the rise through ranks and join Alpha's ARC trooper program becoming Commanders, Captians, Special Forces, Commandos, and even Covert Ops Clone hunters. But as the Republic needed more troopers they reduced training time, they also switched to stun rounds instead of livefire, used simulator battledroids repurposed from the actual war, and they considered early deployment because they figured the real training could be learned "in the feild". It made new clone troopers a bit odder, less prepared for civilian combatants who actually used tactics, and even more unprepared for the galactic civil war as they weren't accustomed to fighting non Droid opponents. Was also more of a reason for Palpatine to decommission them and transitioned leftover clones into the rest of the civi stormies.
Ah... that’s a good point. My theory was that they had at least some kind of humane feature around training given what we saw in the first episode of Season 3 of CW, (since Domino squad didn’t meet any Jedi before Shaak Ti.) My idea was to basically capture what some would internally feel right before they go into action and show the clanks who they’re dealing with... and that this would be the beginning of them getting used to these kinds of situations. (There is a different reason why the 104th troop seems very hesitant however.) I mainly focused on how shook Morrison was when he expressed the battle of Geonosis. This was the first time the clones put their lives on the front lines in actual combat. That was my idea at least... however again, them, especially being Gen 1 starting of as killing machines makes sense. However, do note that the thing that made them hesitant was because they were carrying something very important that was needed to be reported back to at base. And they kinda figured that the mission can’t be completed if they’re dead. Indeed, I do hope one day I’ll get to remaster this. However, with all the models becoming errors and how I had to cut rendered videos that may become difficult... but ah, nevertheless, I’m no stranger to revisiting old vids! I think you're gonna go places :) I am now curious so since you based this on the new clone wars is this the first or second battle of Geonosis? In other words intially I thought this was Attack of the Clones Geonosis however it sounds like you were aiming for the whole "Landing at Point Rain" episode arc in which these would probably be gen 2 or 3 in which the Domino squad effect makes sense. Once you said that though I noticed a slight plot hole with this. In which in a practical situation general infantry like a standard clone would never be sent on an intelligence op, regarding precious data vital to the Republic this would fall to like your ARC trooper type maybe a commader. So maybe to make the narrative fit these two shinies were on like a gunship heading to evac, a group of bad ass special forces at a hot zone. An maybe they succeeded but as the gunship started to get away either a AA or Geonosian fighter shot it down in enemy territory and the whole crew died. So in other words there was a pass off of the Intel similar to like Rogue One were the rebels kinda pass of Intel as they get cut down by Vader. Kinda like a black hawk down scenrio in which these two (or rather one) earn their place in the Wolf pack by surviving. Think this would be cool for you to revisit. Maybe do a prequel animation with their training and deployment. Maybe the mission briefing you could design your own ARC troopers from scratch that look badass. I'm sure in a year you must've learn some new animation tricks. I know these things take time a buddy of mine is going for animation and backdrop design off of a special effects school near universal in Orlando and they've put him through the ringer.
Actually, after reading your last comment, the whole evac situation was almost exactly what I had planned to do lol Ngl, originally it was going to be the AOTC Geonosis, however by the time I’ve looked back at it, it actually would make a lot more sense if it was LAPR instead. Considering by the time THAT Geonosian battle occurred, the war wasn’t labeled a “Clone War” yet, so if that’s the battle the wolf trooper in the GCW era remembered, it would not make sense he remembered there was indeed a clone war. There are many other reasons why it should be at LAPR, so I’m just going to officially say, yes, that was indeed that battle. I definitely would like to make my own Arc Troopers for a... short arc. Heh. I’ll plan on it then. I wish your brother the best of luck! These can be quite hard especially depending on your workflow and... overall situation. I used to do these much faster but time and a lack of privacy is a great hinderance unfortunately. The big reason why I hadn’t been able to work on Episode 2 was because of time, now it’s just technical issues... oh the luck. Lol but learning animation is still one of the most satisfying things I love doing and I think it’s something most people should experience at some point.

Ah yes, who could forget that iconic “the time... has come...” scene? I’m pretty sure someone has made one into a model of him. I recommend checking in the Gmod section. That’s where mostly all the more CUSTOM models tend to be.

There is ammo in SW. Its not lile in battlefront m. Clone troopers mention it a few times in tcw.

They have a battery pack in the gun to charge the gas, and they have a gas tube. So they have limited ammo of around 500 shots
