      @@beepbop6697 Video lied all the times, you just need to edit out the parts that don’t support your narrative. I have seen videos of these auditors being arrested because they didn’t know the laws like they thought, and ended up breaking very serious laws such as that guy filming a military base. But of course he edited his videos so it looks like he was in the right.

      Okla City DAs & assistant DAs, and judges, fall way short of the good public servants they could be. I hope they have fixed the problem by now. However, there are laws that keep the legal system from hiding someone they have in their custody. And for good reason.

      It makes me wonder if you could prove that your identity was stolen in a situation like the one in the video, then could you litigate for damages? They are the custodians of that information, right? This is why PHI is handled the way it is by healthcare institutions. HIPAA is enforceable federal law.

      If you've ever had cop or court issues it is very likely. Police and people that work around police in the courts do not care about 'criminals' who they see as criminals forever and never rehabilitated. And if you have ever pissed off a cop or a court official, I would almost guarantee that they have or are doing everything in their power to dox you like that or worse. I grew up with a couple guys who became cops and the things I use to hear them talk about caused me to distance myself from them - they're bigger criminals than most of the people they arrest.

    i got paperwork from the court once about my son's mother's divorce to her husband that included a mixture of my information and his. He also received my information. When we brought this to the courts attention we were told it couldn't have happened. We showed them then we were told it was our responsibility to fix it.

    Tide is turning- look into what the governor of Missouri said about paying for frivolous lawsuits that could have been avoided. It’s not going to be long before we the people can start to go after their houses and personal property with money they made off taxpayers backs.     My ssn got stolen years ago which made me unable to collect unemployment. Went to the ss office and was told that’s not their problem to fix. I was far less educated then and let it go but will now be following up. The govt is so corrupt it’s disgusting.

      Don't forget all those people at the DMV and other places trying to pin HIPAA violations on the auditors instead of on themselves for having that kind of sensitive information in plane enough view.
      And here we have a big stinking pile of, while not quite HIPAA, privacy violations and they don't give a damn. They gladly sell you copies of it all even.
      I wonder if you could get sued for identity theft if you payed the government for the information...???

    You cannot be required to give a Social Security number to cops. The federal statute only permits the States to collect it for limited purposes. Don't give it to them.

      Seems to me like its all political. If someone at DOJ likes you, you're golden...if not, your department will be investigated. Everything is connected and selectively enforced due to "discretion."
      There is no 'Rule' of Law, we are 'Ruled' by a heirarchy of bureaucrats who wield arbitrary and capricious 'discretion' when selectively enforcing the "opinions" of others above them.
