so this got brought up during a testing session and some folks were unaware of certain caps from R. abilities so I wanted to go over this with you guys and discuss somethings that may help you better build your units.

I think what a lot of people miss about stats and stat raising abilities is that it's not always the better option to just focus on 1 specific ability boost. I have weapons that could get to level 5-6 of a certain stat boost, but the overall rarity of a weapon adds so much more to stats in general.
I could have a cloud build with level 5 Patt boost but trade it out for a higher quality weapon without any Patt boost, drop it to level 4 and still have a much higher attack stat.
I have commented a few times on videos to other peoples comments about just how much more you get from having higher rarity weapons, even compared to just the level of the weapon. I have weapons I COULD use that are level 70-80 as sub weapons, but I use level 50-60 sub weapons simply because the rarity is much higher. I think that is a HUGE point that people don't take enough consideration towards.
100% that's what I put in my description that sometimes going for better stat weapon is way smarter than the r ability

Some topic that would be very interesting to cover is base damage versus stats boost for example is it better to run a purple watera with (random numbers) magic dmg at 186% or a 3 star water with base dmg at 150% but 3% magic stat boost.
Or another tough choice is it better to run a dupe weapon with good stat but bad R abilities or a regular 5 stars with 50 less attacl but 15% element boost.
Surely it depends in each case but that would be very interesting to know if you're better off with 2000 attack and 10% elemnt boost or just 2200 flat attack with no boost etc...
Hehe this is kinda what I talked about in description. If you have a higher OB weapon with raw good stats and mediocre r ability in many cases it's better than running a mediocre raw stat weapon with a desired r ability
Wow thanks for the info! I gotta rethink my gear and see if I already maxed out the amount of PATK stats or otherwise then start finding other gear.

Don't forget R abilities point from sub weapon is only 50% you problably know that already but you didn't mention it at the beginning

The arrows above the default button when you are choosing waepon show the numbers of each weapon without pressing them

If you sort you can set your highest stats to be on top too. Less searching.
Do you know if R. Ability: Boost limit break potency affects summon damage? What about R. Ability: Boost ability potency; does that affect the whole team (someone said it did) or just the character equipped?
I actually haven't tested enough to see but from my understanding it should only affect the unit and not the team that has it equipped. Again, not definitive tho
the thing about phsycial ability potency you wont cap that unless you max ob a weapon with it and use that weapons as main weapon with one other sub weapon that has it only 3 weapons currently even have that ability mad min enemy from barret and matts new sword.
Ya physical ability potency or any of those u won't max any time soon. Patk and matk u can tho

Yo theres a bug in the ramuh fight. If you play semi - 2x speed until the ramuh cutscene, if you skip the cutcsene and instantly change character his bar will dissapear. All f2p, go do it for free ramuh very hard 1-2.

@@Hannibalhd1 After the 2nd adds phase, when rammuh appears.. skip the rammuh cutscene and change character as fast as possible, rammuh's charging bar will not trigger but make sure you are in semi 2x speed.

Quick question. I am sitting on what seems like a billion stamina pots and I only used a few when the game first launched. I have kinda neglected farming the summons and only farmed Ifrit when he was up in co-op and still didn't finish the very hard mission yet to unlock hellfire. would you recommend I spend potions on getting most weapons to at least level 70 or start pumping them into summons? I have my main team at level 55 and sitting around 130k'ish power. I feel I am sitting on a bit of power that I could pump with these potions but not sure what the best direction would be. I have plenty of pieces for the skill tree and actually feel I kinda over farmed those for where I am currently at.
Bit of both. Summons require specific strats so even with a higher cp u may not be able to beat it so I would recommend check out the guides and see if you can beat them. They will single handedly give u the most in terms of in game dmg but u won't see it on your power (cp).
Can you max out PATK and go after ATK boost? or that doesn't work?

Payne mentions this in a lot of videos when there's a boss with two sidekick enemies. He's calls them "ads". What does that mean? Is it short for something?
Adds are additional enemies with a boss. Nerd terminology lol

it is not that bad . . i had a harder time with ramuh honestly . if you need a reference i don't commentate my videos buy maybe you can learn from my mistakes lol. i uploaded the fight . will be trying the hardest one once my team gets to 55 , cus sephi is suuper annoying . but im f2p so it might not be fun to watch lmao

Ya overboost is where you get more r ability points
what does max gauge attack stance mean?
U know the stance gauge u have? Red is attack and blue is defense. So when the red gets full that's when this goes into effect. I have a guide on that bar on my channel if you need to know how it works

Especially considering there's a tutorial that explains it at the beginning of the game. Some people are just clueless.
i lost too much time comparing all weapons to make an eficient build. we could have a calculator site or app. sometimes i dont know if is better raise to 70 to 80 a weapon when it a 3* because the game show us only the 1* and 6* and 10* status.
