That said, this message has been so helpful for me today and is so encouraging. I've been going through such a painful season in my life the past few years and am crying out to the Lord for help. This is encouraging. Thank you Brother Torben. I found all the challenges of my life have formed my character to be strong with God. I always remember an eagle that flies in the storm to lift it higher. Setting up my mind and keeping believing His promise that the test will not beyond my ability. “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” Isaiah 40:31. God always be with you and family.

Hi Daniel!, Man be careful, it could be demonic. Jesus came to set us free from anything, we don't have to fight always with same things. Temptation it's temporal, it comes just time to time but then it leaves. Satan wants to kill you, you have to rebuke him.

This message has just strength me today. I was feeling like giving up. I said to God that I can't anymore preach the Gospel because I am facing a lot of battles. I was supposed to go and preach the gospel to someone and I told God that he can send someone else to go preach the gospel to that person. Then this message just appears on my screen. This message helped to change my mind.

THANK YOU Torben!!! the answer is we need to practice loving and supporting one another. We have been on the mission field with no real support for 9 yrs so we are waiting for the "it was worth it" part. What do we do when we have done nothing but fight with no win! no healing, no let up. I hope one day the breakthrough comes. At the moment we have just given up.

Bro your keep it real and telling your story the way it is, has helped so many because we are in a race and if you tell your experience the way it is without hidden anything, it helps those who are coming behind you. They will know that whatever they are going through is common among believers .they will know that it is not sin or weak faith or lack of faith that is causing them to go through the difficult times in their lives but it is a normal experience for a true christian and at the end they always comes out with victory

I wish more Christian's would preach things like this behind pool pits then preach things that most Christian's cannot relate to like prosperity preachings and other doctrines that take away a fight out of Christian's. I can really relate to you in my personal life as well as my best friends. A lot of things you said were same in our lives. I had a hard time understanding why other Christian's could get away with serious sins and go to church and yet look like their blessed and I'm struggling many times with many different trials although I'm working hard on not sinning in simple things and even if I would allow what seemed to me a small sin like watch a secular movie I would get chastised by God for it. But I now understand that I would rather let God stop me and be chastised by him than be left without him chastising me for that is his loving hand over my life so I may keep my eyes on him without any distractions

Man I really needed this video . I’ve watched a lot of other of your videos, like the basics about repentance , ect i felt like Already passed those in my life. I’ve Brent following you for years and only now it is my first time watching this video . Wow I needed to hear this is very relevant to my life. Sometimes when I m going through attacks I literally feel like I’m going crazy but then everything is fine after. Sigh sometimes I just feel like I wish I could be like the apostles who died a few years after coming to Christ. Instead of 40 years in this earth lol. God is good tho all the time. What a great talk Torben, Thank You, it has strengthened me. I can relate to those trials you speak of and cheerfully say with you that out of them all the Lord has delivered me!! He is so very faithful. I always say that living life with God by faith is like walking across the Grand Canyon on a tightrope. Its thrilling and exciting and scary all at the same time . Yes, it is so hard when we are betrayed by brethren. I had alot of problems with pastors . The hard thing is that these pastors were from faith churches and said to be filled with the Holy Spirit and yet had problems with me praying for the sick and getting results that they were not getting. ...............I finally realized they saw me as a competitor instead of a co- laborer with them for Christ..........It was heartbreaking............. For those who say ~ I do not have any trouble with persecution or the devil . I say this in love but it is because you are both going in the same direction....... If you change course you will understand what Torben is talking about........God Bless you and your family Torben along with all the brethren and sisters who are faithful following in the footsteps of Jesus.
+heismyhightower its amazing how a pastor would be jealous of someone doing good, well i had family members tell me they know God more then me but i just laugh and say thank God i wish thats true so much :) instead of being hurt over family member being in competition with me about Christ i rather am grieved because of them that this person is in such state and hope they get out of it, i believe we don't need to be in this position where this can hurt us and leave us suffering, a seflless love can really free us from others ppl harm, yes there is stilll suffering but i really believe we can suffer with joy and without empty heart, without depression, without anxiety

The Christian walk is hard! When you repent and baptized with Jesus and really follow after God with your whole heart, then God first starts you out like a baby protected with his Holy spirit, like a force field around you, then God lets you walk through trials till you have learned to hear his voice. Hopefully you will learn it soon. So you can walk in Gods love and safety with much less trials, each and every moment of every day! God Bless

Thank you for being honest with us , its very important to tell the true side of life , yes , we look at it like its so easy for you , just go out to the street and get it done ...This definitely helps me , so that when I going through a situation I will remember your word ... Instead of thinking why its so easy for them but so difficult for me , is it because something wrong with me ? I grew up in China and attended a church in Shanghai , as Christianity is not in my culture so I was new to it , I thought all christians r nice people and full of love , but indeed , I was hurt by church people ... Sometimes it makes you feel like you r not good enough to be there , yes , I do not have a look of a traditional christian ... I didn't grow but being there because we r told we need fellowship . I wasn't happy to be there ... its like an obligation to me .. not normal someone has struggle going to the church right . Until I found TLR , I finally know the reason why I wasn't happy in the church ... Now I am free , I know I have no problem ...my feeling is right ! Its all religious ... no life !! I am not against church , but the main thing is to let the holy spirit to lead us not man , we look up to man in the church , wrong direction ! God bless !

Oh yes, the battles in the mind and the thoughts, some of which are not even your own. God is certainly telling me to stick in the word and spend more time with him, because of what I am experiencing as of late.

THANK YOU Torben!!! the answer is we need to practice loving and supporting one another. We have been on the mission field with no real support for 9 yrs so we are waiting for the "it was worth it" part. What do we do when we have done nothing but fight with no win! no healing, no let up. I hope one day the breakthrough comes. At the moment we have just given up.

I wish more Christian's would preach things like this behind pool pits then preach things that most Christian's cannot relate to like prosperity preachings and other doctrines that take away a fight out of Christian's. I can really relate to you in my personal life as well as my best friends. A lot of things you said were same in our lives. I had a hard time understanding why other Christian's could get away with serious sins and go to church and yet look like their blessed and I'm struggling many times with many different trials although I'm working hard on not sinning in simple things and even if I would allow what seemed to me a small sin like watch a secular movie I would get chastised by God for it. But I now understand that I would rather let God stop me and be chastised by him than be left without him chastising me for that is his loving hand over my life so I may keep my eyes on him without any distractions

Sometimes when I m going through attacks I literally feel like I’m going crazy but then everything is fine after. What a great talk Torben, Thank You, it has strengthened me. I can relate to those trials you speak of and cheerfully say with you that out of them all the Lord has delivered me!! He is so very faithful. I always say that living life with God by faith is like walking across the Grand Canyon on a tightrope. Its thrilling and exciting and scary all at the same time . Yes, it is so hard when we are betrayed by brethren. I had alot of problems with pastors . The hard thing is that these pastors were from faith churches and said to be filled with the Holy Spirit and yet had problems with me praying for the sick and getting results that they were not getting. ...............I finally realized they saw me as a competitor instead of a co- laborer with them for Christ..........It was heartbreaking............. For those who say ~ I do not have any trouble with persecution or the devil . I say this in love but it is because you are both going in the same direction....... If you change course you will understand what Torben is talking about........God Bless you and your family Torben along with all the brethren and sisters who are faithful following in the footsteps of Jesus.
+heismyhightower its amazing how a pastor would be jealous of someone doing good, well i had family members tell me they know God more then me but i just laugh and say thank God i wish thats true so much :) instead of being hurt over family member being in competition with me about Christ i rather am grieved because of them that this person is in such state and hope they get out of it, i believe we don't need to be in this position where this can hurt us and leave us suffering, a seflless love can really free us from others ppl harm, yes there is stilll suffering but i really believe we can suffer with joy and without empty heart, without depression, without anxiety

You know, I had lots of persecution from immediate family members too but praises to the good Lord , I was able to lead every one of them to Jesus .Just smile, walk in love towards all and when opportunity shows itself share Gods word with them and pray for them and then let the Holy Spirit go to work in their hearts. The Christian walk is hard! When you repent and baptized with Jesus and really follow after God with your whole heart, then God first starts you out like a baby protected with his Holy spirit, like a force field around you, then God lets you walk through trials till you have learned to hear his voice. Instead of thinking why its so easy for them but so difficult for me , is it because something wrong with me ?
I grew up in China and attended a church in Shanghai , as Christianity is not in my culture so I was new to it , I thought all christians r nice people and full of love , but indeed , I was hurt by church people ... Sometimes it makes you feel like you r not good enough to be there , yes , I do not have a look of a traditional christian ... I didn't grow but being there because we r told we need fellowship .
I wasn't happy to be there ... its like an obligation to me .. not normal someone has struggle going to the church right .
Until I found TLR , I finally know the reason why I wasn't happy in the church ... Now I am free , I know I have no problem ...my feeling is right ! Its all religious ... no life !! I am not against church , but the main thing is to let the holy spirit to lead us not man , we look up to man in the church , wrong direction !
