When we met Torben and heard his teaching, it changed my family's life. We live a radical life for Jesus. We baptize, cast out demons, preach the gospel and heal the sick. Come on church the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.!!

BlackOreoCookie, well the commandment is for all of us but sadly only few are willing to even take the step. Many look on and think in their hearts that it is for some select few. But when you have received the Holy Spirit baptism you also receive power to do same. I also used to think it was for some 'anointed' group of people but now I see Jesus is able to heal through my own hands.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

@Derek Brothers He was an Old Testament believer, the same as King David. His faith was in the coming Messiah. Jesus hadn't paid for his sins yet but would in a short time. Plus, baptism is in the heart. If a person gets saved and wants baptism but can't do it before they die, the intention is enough. A believer who refuses baptism is probably not a believer.

This is a good example of how NOT to rightly divide the Word. You cannot take only 2 verses (Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21) out of many which don't say anything about baptism for salvation and make a doctrine from it! It seems like a small point, but Paul warned us in Galatians 5:9 that a little yeast leavens the whole lump. Torben, I beg of you to repent. As a teacher, you will be judged more strictly.

Not by water. This is why the bible says John baptized with water but Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit. This is a big deal so please study it in depth. Look up Justification as well.

The teaching here is totally scriptural as in all of Torben's teaching videos!
I only take issue with the practices resembling the Charismatic movement. True, that healing and casting out of demons are scriptural and I have seen this still at work today in Jesus name even within cessationists' environment. But we never read in the book of Acts that people receiving the Holy Spirit go into a trance letting out orgasmic sounds or fall backwards unconscious. But this is what we see in Torben's movement exactly as it also happens in the new age spirituality groups that are clearly demonic in origin. The new testament is clear about believers having self control and 1 Cor. 14:26-33 makes a case for peace rather than chaos as the order of the day against group glossolalia and with "the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. For God is not a God of confusion but of peace".
I love the Lord and seek truth and persevere for the Kingdom of Heaven and I write this with the fear of God. I exhort Torben to take my admonishment seriously to test the spirits in this matter. Please show me if I'm wrong.

This teaching needs to be expressed with no reservations. I've met to many people in this movement that believe by not being baptized you're not saved. What about those that are physically unable. This doctrine needs to be broken in this movement. You have marginalized the work of the cross and His blood shed at Calvary. Actually you can go through being baptized in water and not be saved. Just a religious action that goes nowhere. So it is Christ and only Him that gives you salvation and brings you into the fullness through baptisms. It truly is Who and not What.

Looking at a lot of the comments here it is evident that many do not have a doctrinal foundation and therefore are blown about with every wind of doctrine. When Paul the apostle met the disciples in Ephesus he enquired of them if they had received the Holy Spirit. Their reply was that they had not heard of the Holy Spirit. It is at this point that the apostle clearly identifies the way in which people were water baptised when he asked the question. "Into what then were you baptised?" This question is evidence that had they not been baptised according to John's baptism they would obviously have heard of the Holy Spirit because they would have been baptised in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This biblical truth was expounded by the late Dr Martyn Lloyd Jones and we would be wise to take heed. Also to listen to Jude's exhortation to, "Contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3)

I really wanted to be baptized when Jesus came into my life and heart almost 2 years ago. Yet was deceived when I asked the Church I was attending if they could baptize me. I said because I was Christened as a child I did not need it and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this was wrong.
Then covid. I am finding it very hard to find anyone willing to baptize me, they have all said due to covid they cant To a degree I understand, we live in a carnal world filled with rules fear, and regulations.
Yet what these people say who profess to be Christians are contradicting the word of God because it clearly says do not fear death.

First of all I want to say I highly respect Torben as a brother in Christ and highly respect the work of the gospel in TLR. I do want to summarize my understanding of the video, explain why some of the video might be misleading, and then offer what I believe to my best knowledge is an accurate view of baptism that Torben would highly likely agree with and I believe is easy to understand. I know this is long for a RUclips comment but bear with me.
This is my summary of the conclusion you (Torben) make:
What I’m hearing you say, is that baptism is part of the salvation process and journey, but not necessary to receive eternal life. As you say just before and around the 12:00 minute mark, (and I summarize) you believe in salvation by faith alone and someone that is never baptized but calls on the name of Jesus and repents of their sins without being baptized will be saved (will receive eternal life through Jesus). However, if you are saved, water baptism is an expectation. There is no reason for someone not to be baptized, and if you are able to, you should in order to obey the word of God. We also should not shy away from preaching and teaching that all believers should be baptized and that it is proper and biblical for all Christians. This is what you refer to as part of the full gospel. You say at the end of the video that salvation is a heart issue between that person and God and not up to you to decide whether someone is saved or not. It’s also not a formula or a step by step process, where we can simply perform physical actions to receive salvation.
If my summary is correct or even close, then I agree with your stance on salvation and baptism as a believer. However, saying you “believe baptism does save you” can sound misleading to Protestant, or at least American Protestant, ears. We are very careful not to give into any sort of credit to works for salvation besides the finished work of the cross. It can send warning signals anytime we hear language like this.
It is my view (and based on this video I believe you would share this view with me) that Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ. We repent of our sins and are justified by faith in Christ alone.
I agree with you that there is a “salvation journey” or “process” that we go through as Christians, however it is not a step by step process, spell, ritual, or formula to receive salvation sort of like you said. It is full acceptance of the truth and surrender to the Lord to now live in the kingdom of God. We acknowledge we are sinners, repent before a Holy God, trust in Christs sinless life, crucifixion, and resurrection for eternal life, receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation and get water baptized.
One way to look at this based on my best understanding of scripture is that phrases like getting saved, being baptized, receiving the Holy Spirit, being born again, are really all saying the same thing. These are not formulaic rituals or religious statuses of the “haves” or “have nots” It is about repenting of your sins, receiving God, and becoming a new creation. Anyone can splash water on their face, but you will only receive the Holy Spirit when you truly repent and believe. You are baptized in Christ. Submerged in him. He encompasses you. You die to your sins and rise to new life. If you believe and follow Christ then you are saved, you are baptized, you have received the Holy Spirit.
Thank you Torben and TLR for your work in the kingdom of God and for preaching the full gospel (even if the wording or language or some ideology of ours isn’t exactly right) See you one day with the Lord!

In the case of Cornelius they believed on the Lord Jesus through Peters preaching, then they received the Holy Spirit, then they were water baptized. I personally believe that baptism is essential to our relationship with Jesus and to refuse to be baptized is a sin, with that said, baptism doesn’t wash sin away.....only the blood can do that. The sense in which baptism saves is an appeal to God for a good conscience see 1 Peter 3:21. It’s very similar to James that says, faith without works is dead....if you really have been born again you will show your faith in Christ by being baptized.

    Brother Piotr Podobiński words....
Perversion of Water Baptism and the Gospel in TLR
We all know that Torben often butchers the Bible without understanding of the deeper dynamics of the text, he regularly rips passages out of their context. One of the best examples of this is his usage of:
    Acts 2:38 (NET)
"Peter said to them, “Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
There is nothing wrong with this wonderful passage, all orthodox evangelicals agree that we should baptize "in the name of Father Son and Holy Spirit", water baptism is an external token of something that happens on the inside in your heart. Your spirit is born again trough faith in the Gospel (as in story of Cornelius where he is SAVED and Spirit filled in one instant after hearing words of the Gospel, before being water baptized!) In water baptism you get to experience profoundly in your soul and your body what has already happened in your heart, baptism is also a beautiful act of confession, every Christian should be baptized, there is zero disagreement about it in faithful Christian churches.
What is wrong with Torben's teaching then?
Firstly he changes definition of the Gospel, he often says "Gospel is repentance + water baptism + Spirit baptism"

  • @horseman528

Do we sometimes put our human limitations on God in whom all things are possible? I agree with this man. If we can be baptized we need to in order to fulfill all righteousness through obedience to God. If however a person is in conditions where they cannot be baptized such as in a jail awaiting execution, or bedfast and near death, then whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved according to Romans 10:13. Of course these conditions do not very often happen so repent and get baptized if you can for the remission of sins because Jesus commanded it in Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, and Matthew 28:19

Our natural body as a seed dies in the communing with the spirit like the seed of the woman units with the seed of the man to a new one and grows up in the fruit-water of the mother until this child is born.
In baptizm our old Adam (our sinful Being) dies under water into Jesus, he dies with Jesus on the cross, the old Adam was left in the water grave and as a new born Christ in you comes to life. After the Crucifixion and Resurrection Jesus is quite clear about being BAPTIZED as an IMPORTANT part of SALVATION But in verse 16 BELIEVING is the MOST crucial aspect of NOT BEING DAMNED.
    Mark 16
14: Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
    17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19: So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20: And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Why would a person get baptized if they didn't believe. Jesus didn't waste words here. It would be strange to say, "He that believeth not and is baptized not shall be damned."
He that believeth not will be condemned. Whether baptized or not.

I have an interesting testimony: I was baptized 2 times in church without true repentance. I truly repented and believed in Jesus in my friends living room. Was born again and filled with the Spirit right then and there. I had my true water Baptism months later and that was POWERFUL!

They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. As in the days of Noah 8 souls were saved by water so does baptism now save us. In baptism the blood of Jesus is applied to you.. There is only one name under heaved given where by we must be saved. Where is the name given? The name Jesus is called over you when you go under water a spiritual cleansing happens. Your sins are washed away. Repent and be baptized for the remission, forgiveness, washing away of sins.

This is not true. It is not just a 'who' that saves in Jesus Christ, but a 'what', in that it's the blood of Jesus which saves and cleanses us. Jesus did not save us by His power alone, but had to be sacrificed to provide the 'what' of what saves us, His blood.

Tim Price Amen! We are saved, forgiven and washed clean by the blood of the Lamb of God. He took away the sin of the world. Once. For all. That us when salvation happened. Now we receive it and walk in it. It can't be a process involving us doing this or that, because. ...It is finished!
If we could do anything to save ourselves Jesus wouldn't have needed to be a sin sacrifice.

Baptism is not part of salvation, but a step of obedience after you are born again. John 3 v 5-6 means, you are born physically of water (from the womb) but, to enter the Kingdom of God you must be spiritually born again of His Spirit. Water baptism is public testimony of an inner transformation. We are saved by grace through the faith God gives, not by works. Gby

i need to wrap my mind around this more i think. So one question i have about this is if salvation requires works (baptism) on top of Jesus' sacrifice, isn't this saying that Jesus's sacrifice is inadequate in and of itself for salvation? I know there are verses that say repent and be baptized Acts 2:38 for the remission of sins (which was before the Holy Spirit came which is in Acts 4) and there are other verses that say believe you will be saved (that don't refer to baptism). I'm still not completely clear on is this part of salvation or just evidence of our obedience which is proof that we really believed? Maybe you can help me understand this better? Titus 3:5 Ephesians 2:8-9 and other verses would indicate what we do other than believe and confess isn't part of our salvation and i know you said that it is Jesus that does the saving... maybe you can do another video to clarify this better?? thanks

Jesus said that we must be as little children. When I read Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, to an 8 year old and a 10 year old, they immediately say, 'I want to get baptized!' And, they are smiling and 100% sincere when they say that. The adults around them put a stop to it. Shame on those who prevent the little ones from coming to Jesus!!
Shame on us for doubting and for hesitating. 😓

    • @MessiahIsGod

The people who peter commanded to get baptized in acts 2:38 got saved in acts 2:37 from hearing and believing the gospel being preached in acts 2:14-2:36. You are exactly correct your questioning of this mans doctrine is from the Holy Spirit. This man is a heretic, blatantly teaches and defends works based salvation and barely anybody is saying anything. Paul did not put up with this junk for one second - see acts 15:1-2. Read Galatians 1:8, 2:16 , 5:4 Romans 4:5 , 5:1 . We are saved only by the righteousness of Christ that is received by faith alone in his name. Anything else is total heresy. This man preaches another gospel. No, the grace of God is not a licence to sin Jude 4 says people who have that mindset have denied the Lord and will be denied according to Jesus. (matthew 10:33) People who are truly born again receive a new heart and the Holy Spirit so they do not want to continue in sin.

    John 3:5 KJV
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Born of the water AND of the Spirit- that is baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and baptism of the Holy Ghost. Jesus said that unless a man goes through these, he cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Here is another scripture about whether or not baptism saves us:
    1 Peter 3:21 KJV
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
And here is a scripture about 3 witnesses that come together in the plan of salvation:
    1 John 5:8 KJV
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
The Spirit is received when a person is baptized with the Holy Ghost as they were in Acts, the water is the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and the blood is the blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.
To become born again a person must repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is God's plan of salvation and all these elements are absolutely necessary.
Please do not detract from scripture and speak on what you "feel" to be the case. Yes baptism in water in the name of Jesus Christ saves and is an inseparable part of the salvation plan together with receiving the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.

The realities are far bigger and "overarching" than we can really understand. Also, the "sequence of the events " is not the same for everyone due to MANY factors including God's sovereignty. I would however still profess that baptism should be done in the NAME of The Holy Trinity..

If I understand Torbin correctly, baptism and tongues are not what saves you, but it the man Jesus Christ. Yet both baptism and being filled with the Holy Spirit are parts of being complete in salvation and they are acts of obedience and what God wants for every believer. If there is someone who cannot get baptized after coming to Christ, it does not mean he is lost, as the blood is the MOST precious of all of this. Without blood there is no redemption, and baptising will not help you!
I hope this helps someone. What Jesus did is the most important and there is nothing higher than what he did, yet he wants us to experience MORE and so he wants us to get baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit so we are made whole in a way and able to walk in his power of this earth. God expects an obedient heart.

Hello Kings Family. I, too, am hearing what you stated above.
Unfortunately, I live in an area where there aren't many TLR markers near me. The Lord brought TLR to my attention the fall 2021 and I reached out to the only TLR marker pegs within hours from me.
I was excited to to meet and begin getting to know one small family. Being that they were alone and without fellowship we began doing the discipleship kickstart program together: excited about what God might be doing with us.
God had transformed my life 2yrs prior and now I was feeling (for various reasons) that I should be re-baptized and asked if they'd baptize me. They requested to "discuss" my baptism over a zoom call prior. In the call, the wife interrogated me, questioned the "true salvation status" of my guests whom I had invited to my baptism implying I should not be having communion with them. [They were my family and members of a Bible Study I lead- and everyone was saved, but I could not fathom the sprit of exclusivity I was sensing]
So this message Torden shares here is THE EXACT reason they sent me an email stating that they could not baptize me... because "I haven't demonstrated understanding of the gospel". They further said they would not be able to continue to meet with me OR continue the kickstart package. So, clearly some people interpret Torben as saying that... had I died before being baptized that day- I WOULD HAVE GONE TO HELL. (in so many words) I sent them this video, but they are convinced I'm wrong and want nothing to do with me until I "choose to agree".
I couldn't believe it. Wow! Baptism IS necessary/ a command, but how can we prevent this legalistic interpretation? If our salvation were based on something I can do to be saved... THAT would #1 diminish the power of the cross #2 nullify being save by GRACE through FAITH not by WORKS....
Peace to everyone! Love TLR Team and am boldly motivated FOR JESUS. :)

I think the confusion concerning baptism and saved by 'faith alone' comes from our protestant heritage. Many fail to see that when Paul talks about being saved by grace, he means we don't need the works of the law. Luther had a big problem with interpreting what James said about works for example, because he was preoccupied with fighting the heretical practices and believes of the Roman Catholic church which included works never mentioned in the New Testament. I don't know if we can call baptism 'work', but it is not the works Paul was talking about for sure. Obedience through faith is part of salvation, and it doesn't matter if you choose to call it 'works', it is not the same kind of works Paul was juxtaposing to salvation by grace. Here are some of the verses that clearly talk about baptism being an inseparable part of salvation (and yes, I agree with Torben that there can be exceptions):
    John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
    Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
    Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
    1 Peter 3:21
The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
    Romans 6
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38
Have you been born of water and of the Spirit according to John 3:5=Acts 2:38?
The Bible does say that New Testament baptism is for the remission (pardon, forgiveness) of sins.
    ( Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38 & 22:16, Colossians 2:11,12 )
The Bible does say that New Testament baptism is our burial, which is an essential part of the gospel of Death, Burial, and Resurrection.

I go by what he said in his emotional video about what the spirits say , I quote Biblical scriptures .MARK ,1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. ( This was before the crucifixion ) where the sins were taken away ,
    Acts 19
19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Set-apart Spirit since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Set-apart Spirit.
19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Messiah Yahushua.
19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Master Yahushua.
19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Set-apart Spirit came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
19:7 And all the men were about twelve.
MEANING ,( Believe on the one that COMES AFTER JOHN , , ) Your sins are already forgiven so why are you being baptised in water, . ALSO , When paul laid his hands on them they were BAPTISED IN THE RAUCH HA QUODESH . =HOLY SPIRIT, Now read the following and tell me which BAPTISM SAVER,?
    Ephesians 4
4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of Yahushua, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
    4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
    4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
4:5 One Master, one faith, one baptism,
How can you go with the BAPTISM of today ,when it states in the WORD of YHAHUWAH , THE VERSES ABOVE.
ONE MASTER ,= YAHUWAH, ONE FAITH, =YAHUSHUWAH , ONE BAPTISM = RAUCH HA QUODESH -Holy Spirit .
ABBA FATHER ,MASHIACH SON ,RAUCH HA QUODESH HOLY SPIRIT .

Amen Brother I agree! " I just finished reading Luke the other day & a verse Really stuck out to me to do with John's baptism it was in Luke 7:29-30 which says 29"When they heard this, all the people, including the UNJUST TAX COLLECTORS(sinners scum bags publicans etc if you like) agreed that God's plan was right (or Praised God or Justified God depending which bible translation your reading) for they had been baptized by JOHN. 30 But the PHARISEES & EXPERTS (Lawyers) in the RELIGIOUS LAW had REJECTED God's plan for them, for they had REFUSED JOHN'S Baptism. Now isn't that interesting! Notice it says GOD'S PLAN!
We all know what happens after that don't we. Then we see Jesus talk about the four soils parable in Luke 8 I Like Luke I Love Reading it over & over Luke 8:15 "But the Good soil represents honest, good-hearted people who hear God's message, cling to it, & steadily produce a huge HARVEST.
Then check this out see what happens when we don't Listen to God & His plans, It says in other places " Don't just be hearers of the WORD But be Doers of the WORD" (JESUS is the WORD that walked the Earth)
Luke 8:18 So be sure to pay attention to what you hear. To those who are open to my teaching more understanding will be given. But to those who are not listening, even what they think they have will be taken away from them."
    I hope this Helps.

It's been a journey, but I have to agree with Torben on this.
That said, if one has the ability to get immersed, they absolutely should and right away.
Peter compared baptism to Noah's flood. In that case, it was the EARTH that got immersed. When it emerged, all of the unrighteousness was gone.
There are a half dozen changes that occur when we are baptized (including being born again) that we cannot say if we haven't been.
There were no delayed baptisms in the New Testament. If anything they were urgent. I'm 100% sure now that immersion into Jesus was how a person joined the New Covenant which explains the urgency as well as why it was always the first step after believing including the case of Cornelius and his family.

Maybe I'm not hearing well over the accent. but am I hearing that this man is trying to say that baptism is part of salvation? If so that's a biblical error on his part. The bible tells us that salvation is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Saying you need baptism and salvation to be saved is saying Jesus dying on the cross wasn't enough. Baptism is an important step of obedience after salvation but cannot be a requirement. To many are taken scripture out of context. John 3:16 says alot. And we must not forget the thief on the cross. Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. The thief just believing who Jesus was, was saved. He did not get baptised. We know one thing the bible never contradicts its self. So if your reading and you think it does contradict somewhere then you are taking it out of context. We must be careful what we teach or learn. Always pray that the Holy Spirit guides and teaches us His truth.

Hi Torben, I love what you are doing! It is amazing what God is doing through you :) I was wondering at what point does someone become born again (a new creature in Christ- regenerated and adopted into God's family)? I thought that being born again is a one time event where the Holy Spirit comes into a person and seals them and their heart is given new desires to be holy and to serve God?
If it's not a one time event, how does someone become born again? Jesus said "unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".
I am learning and willing to be corrected. I've just been a bit confused about this, God bless you :)

732Godlover The born again experience is real and it is indescribably awesome. One must be able to repent and believe from the HEART that Jesus is real and alive. This confession should be out loud from your own intentions. When it happens, you will be able to see that the Kingdom is already here, waiting for you to find it. If the repentance is not from the heart but from the mind only, it will not happen. God only looks at the heart, and what comes from it. Seek the Kingdom, start with looking inside yourself. The baptism of heavenly fire, and the spirit being born into the body is the most important event to happen in one's life.

    • @732doglover
      @732doglover 7 лет назад

+JaveonB Thanks I agree with you that it must be from the heart. What do you mean by looking inside yourself?

    • @JaveonB

732Godlover God has hidden something within you, if you find it and identify it, you will be frightened, then you will be amazed, then you will RULE over the ALL. After that, you will have a moment with God, and more than likely become totally enlightened by the Truth with first hand experience. And then I would say to you "welcome to the Kingdom"

732Godlover I was afraid that might throw you off a bit. let me explain. How will you know what to repent of unless you first look inside to see what is there.? When you get the Holy Spirit, you will have the confidence to heal the sick and cast out demons. Do you have that confidence right now? I'm only speaking through experience, not religion or hear-say.

Someone inform me if my interpretation is correct: Christ saves us, and since baptism is something that Christ tells us to do we must obey it. Of course like anything Christ tells us to do, if we are able to do so we should, for example, it would be difficult to love thy neighbor if you live in near total seclusion. Same with baptism.

Baptism is a physical WORK that you do AFTER you get saved, it has nothing to do with salvation in and of itself. You get baptized BECAUSE you are saved through faith, and not IN ORDER TO or AS PART OF get(ting) saved. You are mixing salvation with lordship, which is why you have such a hard time explaining it.

In the original new testament Greek, faith is a noun and believe is a verb.Believing the gospel means obeying the gospel command to repent and be water and Spirit baptized. This is being "born again

You can get saved if your not baptized if you don't really get the opportunity. And are really trying to follow God and have a change of heart.
But if you do have the opportunity and choose not to.
      Then there is a problem.
      Baptism is necessary for salvation.
      Because you die to yourself.
And are filled with the Holy Spirit.
Your sins will be completely washed away.
Jesus can forgive and save anyone who really believes and repents.
But if we really believe we will get baptized and that will complete the whole puzzle.
Ofcourse and obeying all else God has commanded.
It's like faith and repenting on its own is like your engaged with Christ. But also getting baptized is like marrying Christ.

    • @robertnieten9844
      @robertnieten9844 6 лет назад +1

There is a big difference between faith and believing.A person can have faith, as far as believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord and die and go to hell.Satan has that kind of belief.Believing in the original Greek is putting your faith in action, through obeying the gospel plan of salvation, which is repentence, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit baptism, which is always witnessed by the speaking in a heavenly language.Look at Acts ch. 10. Cornelius and his guests recieved the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. This is what convinced Peter that they had recieved the Holy Spirit.Even with that Peter still commanded that they be water baptized. Why? Because water baptism is " born of water" and baptism of the Spirit is " born of Spirit".(John ch.3)

We are saved by our works when god told Noah to build an Ark that was some work but he obed god he got saved and 8 souls too , when Abraham god told him to sacrifice his son, Abel brought god a lamb sacrifice, Elisha told Naaman to go dip himself in jordan river, God told jonah go preach, Jesus told the blind man go wash your eyes, Jesus told the Adulterous woman go and sin no more , then peter said unto them repent Acts 2:38

    Torben,
If the Bible says that baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is for the remission of sins, and that it saves us, then how can you say that a man who leaves this life without being baptized in Jesus' name is saved, and can enter into the kingdom of God?
Jesus straightly said that he cannot. (John 3:5).
    This is not theology.
    It is God's word.
No man can enter into the kingdom of God, unless he has been washed from his sins by the blood of Jesus Christ.
And the only way that can happen, is for a man to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ.
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
"...the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ..."
Please know that I am not here to attack you (as many have lately).
I am here to help you, so that we may walk together, and work together, as ministers of Jesus Christ.
We both have been given a world wide ministry.
Let us speak the same thing, that with one mind we may strive together for the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am brother Clinton, and I am here for you, Torben.

I must agree with you regards once saved always saved. If we continued to sin over and over again without the fear of the Lord. If we continue to ignore and bury the warning from the Holy Spirit then God will forsake you. Therefore we need to repent if we fall into sin else you WILL lose your salvation.

    Acts 2:38
_"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the _*_gift_*_ of the Holy Ghost"_
*What do you do?* _Repent, and be baptized_
*What do you get* _Remissions of sins, and the GIFT of the Holy Ghost_
What is the GIFT of the Holy Ghost spoken here?
-> the speak in tongues unsaved people were hearing at new births
*How do you get GIFTS of the Holy Ghost?*
=> by baptism of the Holy Ghost
    => not by water baptism!
=> Acts 2:38 is talking about *baptism of the Holy Ghost*
As does *Acts **9:17** & Acts **22:16**,* and theses passages also directly link remissions of sins with the baptism of the Holy Ghost!

How to recieve remission of sin you must get in the water and the water represents a burial or a grave the water represents his divine BLOOD. after you have the water blood apllied to your soul.doorpost then you arised resurrected recieving the holy ghost speakong in tongues new birth iits a spiritual birth just like a natural birth in mamas. womb mothers baby sack it has water for nourishment has the birth pangs begin the baby exits out of the vagina the doctor or nurse grabs tbe baby to have live bith its spanks naby cries hes alive in the body of Christ when a sinner recieves the word of god its his womb seed he repents dies out is put in the watery sack in Jesus name he comes out of the sack gets spank by the holy spirit speaks in tongues hes born again. John 3:5. Acts 2:38

Nothing of this is biblical sorry.
Acts10 even blows off your theory by talking about people receiving the Holy Ghost just by hearing the gospel speech. And were baptized of water *after speaking in tongues.*
Acts10:47 _"Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?"_
