There wasn't a scene of them driving like that,it never existed, but it is the way they transform in the movie, all copies had a split scene of them slitting in half and transforming
I miss these two. They were my favourites because of the way they were. I don’t get why people care so much about a god damn movie like it’s a movie who cares.
I used to have these figures, no idea what happened to them. These two were my favorite toys when I was a kid, I thought the splitting vehicle mode was so cool.
When you first split them apart they actually remind me of these cars that could split apart and be put together in different ways I don't remember what they were called though but I do remember there was a Baja Bug and a limousine that actually had three parts instead of two but I do agree that they need to do more Transformers like that though and if they decided to redesign the characters to not be as offensive I'd be cool with them coming back
I doubt non transformers fans would see the twins on shelves and even remember them from the movie they havent watched since before the 2010s. However i doubt anyone cares about them besides weirdos like me that grew up with them, i probably have more toys from them than anyone should, i have them both in the deluxe, legends and rpm (the hotwheels type ones), im not proud of it but not really regret it.
You should do reviews on normal Skids and Mudflap soon too. I literally do not care what they said, I'm not a wuss about it. Don't care if they said racist, offensive, or anything kind of words, who tf cares, and if you really care that bad, you needa chill and get your emotions in check. I thought they were great haha. Oh yes, if you ever want to see the actual Ice Cream Truck, they have (or had) it at the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA, was super cool to see it in person.
Tbh I don't like them not because they were offensive but because they were annoying. I heard they were racist but what did they say like I really forgot about those two.
HOW WERE THEY OFFENSIVE?! I EVEN FOUND THE CLIP AND IT DIDN'T SOUMD REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE N WORD! Anyways I loved these two especially their ice cream truck mode because it basically combined them
This is one that I really wanted, yet this is rare to find nowadays. And shame about Mudflap and Skids not getting any Studio Series figures is a big disgrace that Hasbro aren't listening to us fans.
I remember getting these figures twice as a kid. Both times I had to have them returned because the clear pegs that held the ice-cream truck together sheered clean off when trying to separate them.
I like the general concept here... they just need more compact robot modes and better face sculpts (even generic looking G1 faces would be preferable). Otherwise, I dig the color scheme and the vehicle mode.
I bought these two from a seller who used movie accurate stickers. Even if Hasbro ends up doing it because "we need to finish ROTF," they wouldn't have those decals. Otherwise, I hope they just bite the bullet and make the figures, like if you had to swim in a shark-infested pool to get to safety... in a film.
Me after seeing their scale: I literally remember Ironhide being able to squich them as a whole with just his foot. Because it almost happened on Skids during the aftermath of the forest fight after Optimus dies.
I have Skids and Mudflap in their combined ice cream truck mode, and love how it looks. On the negative side, they came in a combo pack with that stupid Decepticon excavator seen at the beginning of RoTF
I myself do not have anything to say on the topic of controversy because I don't understand what is going on with the characters. What I do remember of the two is that the reason that they liked one being red and the other being green, is because when they first got their ice cream transformation (they must have scanned it at the same time or something) they didn't like how one was in the front and the other on the back, so they always fought for the front end of the vehicle.
the concept of two robots combining to make a vehicle is cool, although i think the toy isnt all that great. it would probably be better if the vehicle was bigger
Pretty much the only reason I love this toy is because my OC in the 2007 movie Decepticons Nintendo DS game had an icecream truck as his altmode. The less said about the characters the better, but man oh man I love that altmode.
I can see them eventually doing a Studio Series version of them if they somehow shoehorn a cameo of them into a new movie, and rewrite their personalities to be not racist. Like, maybe in whatever the next Unicron movie is, we get a scene on cybertron with a handful of Autobots from the Bay movies who aren't on earth yet, and we see Skids & Mudflap looking mostly similar to how they did in ROTF, just with different heads, and less racist personalities. Then they could make a Studio Series figure of them both, and brand them as being from that new movie, and not the old one.
That Toy Guy, are you seriously kidding me? I told you to stop being a coward, but at 9:40 of the video, you begged "Mark" to not block you on Instagram for the Skids & Mudflap content/asking if the Twins will get toys on Studio Series instead of calling him out for his behaviour, which will definitely put Hasbro into hot water for allowing their employees to block random people on social media just for asking a question about trivial things. Specially considering that Drift's stereotype is worse than the Twins', but it wasn't received as bad as theirs because people don't consider the Japanese stereotype to be as bad as the African stereotype, which is why Drift's controversy wasn't as bad as the Twins' when it should've been. Theorymus just made a video talking about this issue and, unlike you, he didn't act like a coward and actually called "Mark" out for what he's doing, which is something you should've done here. Video: ruclips.net/video/3TuRUve4sbg/видео.html&pp=ygUJdGhlb3J5bXVz
I'll leave the whole "is it offensive?" Argument to other people. I will argue this is a completely dope and hilarious alt mode tho. The pink and white colour scheme is tight af. Imagine this design with some studio series engineering, recipe for great figures regardless of the... less than tasteful characters they're based on.

“I’m not offended so everyone else shouldn’t either” don’t be an idiot.
My brother and I loved these guys. We thought they were hilarious and each had our favorite.
At 8:38 he says they died but on the cards for AOE it shown that they are alive
In the DOTM book they are killed by Sentinel Prime
HOW WERE THEY OFFENSIVE?! I EVEN FOUND THE CLIP AND IT DIDN'T SOUMD REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE N WORD! Anyways I loved these two especially their ice cream truck mode because it basically combined them
3:11 I'm pretty sure it was just the one shot where they broken apart and fell over
This is one that I really wanted, yet this is rare to find nowadays. And shame about Mudflap and Skids not getting any Studio Series figures is a big disgrace that Hasbro aren't listening to us fans.
When this came out I never even thought of their characters being racist. I just thought they were funny af
I remember getting these figures twice as a kid. Both times I had to have them returned because the clear pegs that held the ice-cream truck together sheered clean off when trying to separate them.
I love this toy. It was one of my favorites as a kid.
Hey ive watching for a long time, and im glad and proud of your growth
I love the idea of two bots making one vehicle
Omg is that the Comic Sans font on the front side!?! That's hilarious.
The twins were controversial but I actually like they’re ice cream truck alt mode not gonna lis
I just bought this figure and you helped me push the hood down, thank you
Omg I remember owning these. They were my favourites. Sadly I lost them but I’ve still have that starscream figure
the concept of two robots combining to make a vehicle is cool, although i think the toy isnt all that great. it would probably be better if the vehicle was bigger
Pros: I really like the concept of two robots combining to form one vehicle mode.
Cons: everything else
I have always wanted that version, but never have found one. I love the look other than the heads.
Pretty much the only reason I love this toy is because my OC in the 2007 movie Decepticons Nintendo DS game had an icecream truck as his altmode.
The less said about the characters the better, but man oh man I love that altmode.
I remember getting them with Demolishor in that Toysrus exclusive box set, but I've lost them since.

I think I've seen that scene on my DVD of the movie
I'll leave the whole "is it offensive?" Argument to other people. I will argue this is a completely dope and hilarious alt mode tho. The pink and white colour scheme is tight af. Imagine this design with some studio series engineering, recipe for great figures regardless of the... less than tasteful characters they're based on.
I found these guys at my local thrift store for like $2 lmao. I bought the sticker sheet for them and they exist only in truck mode for the foreseeable future
I had this figure for years till a friend said I had miss transformed them making it a bit more enjoyable... Still love this figure and the characters
These two guys were my favorite in the second movie I also had them they action figures just like them they were awesome
