Abigail. Thanks so much for your great and committed work! My teacher recommended see you and definitely it has been incredible useful!!! Again. Thanks for share your knowledge, experience an time with us. It has been a great beginning for me. Warm regards from Mexico.
Had my daughter watch this video, good demonstration. It made me think she should do zombie exercises or like how the dancers in the Michael Jackson Thriller video appear ;)
I can't seem to get a solid tone out of my cello without pushing down hard into the bow. Consequently this makes my bowhand thumb cramp up and hurt, and I have to pause after like 60 seconds. I have not played enough different cellos to know if it's the cello itself, the bow, the hair, or how I'm playing that that causes the 'weak' and overtone sounds if I play too lightly. I should mention I'm using plenty of rosin. Thanks for your advice. Btw, can bowhair become worn out? Even with good rosin? My 4/4 Scheuer & Roth student model just won't 'sing' unless I really dig in. :(
I love the doorbell idea! I just used it with my orchestra class and it worked great! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Nice video and very good demonstrated... I loved the 'door knob' 👍🏼....🙋♂️

I am just starting practice cello.
Thanks!!
Nicely explained! Thank you.
Critical aspect missed, as most do. Flat hair, yes or no? The answer to that changes the bow hold completely.
That was really good! Thank you
Extremely helpful, but does the first finger balance the weight and direction of the bow? Thanks.
감사합니다~~means Thank you!!
thanks a lot, abigail~

Wait in the hole part a piano have to go thru there? Lol
Thanks Abigail.
Your playing is completely different than what you are teaching.
