She has a sweet smile, bouncy bigguns (yep, I'm a guy) and loves cats. As far as I can see, Miss Flirty Bird is a keeper! I hope she continues to enjoy her furry friend for many more years to come.
Don't worry about it at all. I completely understand. I believe all pets sould be fixed unless you are some kind of licensed breed or something. Although, there a million wonderful pets at shelters that are just as or greater than a pure breed. Anyways, every pet in my household has been fixed at 4 months of age. Cuppy the kitten is now living with my friend who was able to finally afford her own place. So, nobody has to worry. Every pet has been fixed. :-3
Congratulations on doing it right. In general, I believe giving pets as gifts is a bad idea, because that's a very personal decision and can be presumptuous in many circumstances. But clearly not all circumstances. Only a true friend can get away with this. You clearly knew that she wanted this kitten and everyone can tell by her reaction that you did good. There's an exception to every rule and by definition, that was an exceptional gift.
