Star Wars Unveiled I actually think Rebels Yoda looks much better than TCW Yoda. It looks far more like his movie counterpart, though I admit his head is a bit tok round. In TCW, he just looked weird to me. Too angular and massive freakin eyes.
in the clone wars Anakin tells ahsoka revenge is not the jedi way and then vader tells her the same and in the clone wars rex kills a cat guy and tells him I'm no jedi which is what ahsoka tells vader
8:40 You forgot to mention the time in Season 1 where Hera called Zeb by his full name after learning that he lost Chopper in a bet ...Yeah, that'd be better to add for the season 1 vid, but, it's strange.
You forgot to mention that Ashla was also the name of a female Togruta Jedi Youngling who made her first appearance in Attack of the Clones. She was being trained by Yoda along with other members of her class called the Bear Clan.
Wanna know another musical fact? The music featured when Hera flights the B-Wing for the first time is heavily influenced by James Horner's music for The Rocketeer. Also the music heard during the episodes menu on the Dvd edition of season two sounds a lot like an amalgam of Leia's theme (by J. Williams naturally) and Jenny's theme by James Horner, also from The Rocketeer.
Hearing about all the background behind the Kyber Crystals (even if it was left out) is really cool since a lot of the time theyve been mentioned in Rebels came BEFORE Rogue One where it was officially shown that the Death Stars beam was fuled by Kyber Crystals. So hearing that Yoda wouldve talked about Sith superweapons using Kyber (and seeing one on Malachor), and then hearing that Sidious studied those weapons makes a nice throughline in the canon. The fact that Kyber Crystals (and the Empires interest in them) were a plot point in season 1 which came out a couple years before Rogue One blows my mind.
I don't know if this is an easter egg or not, but I find it interesting. The name "Azadi" actually means "freedom" in the language spoken in Iran, farsi!
What if Snoke is a mamber of a race from the Unknow Regions and is using the First Order to weaken the galaxy for an invasion simmilar the the Uzzong Vong!
Really no information for what happened directly after the Clone Wars, but after Return of the Jedi two people find a baby hutt and asked the Rancor trainer from Jabba's palace to teach him (Source is the novel Aftermath Life Debt). I'm not sure if it's 100% confirmed that the baby hutt is Jabba's son, but I think it's a safe bet. Not much info after that though. Maybe we'll learn more when Empire's End comes out.
It's Legends info but here's what I found "In 4 ABY, Zorba Desilijic Tiure, Rotta's grandfather, produced Jabba's Will, which claimed that he did not have any children to run his criminal empire, and therefore Zorba was to inherit it. The Hutt courts later declared Jabba's "Will" a forgery."
I don't know if that's true because kanans voice actor is Freddie prince jr and the seventh sister's voice actor is ahsoka's voice actor but I may be wrong and you may be right but that's cool you seem knowledgeable
+KeenKar no, the actress for Kanan and the seventh sister are married. And Ahsoka's voice actor is Ashley Eckstein. For the seventh sister it's somebody else.
Yes, we know that but he distinctly said that the animators added eyebrows DESPITE the fact that they were burned off in Return of the Jedi, which they WEREN'T, "@@nahog7988." His eyebrows were burned off in Revenge of the Sith, not Return of the Jedi. (He misspoke, and has Tweeted about it acknowledging he had since.) His eyebrows were shown in two iterations of Return of the Jedi, once all bushy in the original cut and then changed later in the special editions to better match that they'd been burned off, but they weren't burned off in Return of the Jedi, that happened in Revenge of the Sith.
Val Encarnacion haha okay yeah...but he could've been pretending and secretly made sure obi wan survived that blast or something haha they can think of something I just think he'd be great to bring back
Aidan Cant I hope there's a confrontation between Cody and Rex. Cody still being in the Empire of course, while Rex is with the Rebels. Shows the dofference between Rex and most clones who were forced to obey through the control chip.
1:31 That upper pin-up girl looks like she has Padme's hair... images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/23100000/Hostage-Crisis-clone-wars-anakin-and-padme-23114496-1194-671.jpg
I never realized (or noticed rather) that numa was in rebels with Cham! I remember even keeping an eye out for her during twi'lek centered episodes, I'm either very dumb, or blind. Orr.. perhaps both.
Anyone else thinks that Ezra returned to Malachor later, between seasons 2 and 3? I think his new saber's crystal was salvaged from one of those ancient sabers (the ancient saber had a green blade, just like Ezra's new weapon).
The saber has a powercell as part of its components as well. It failed because the powercell was drained after so long. But the crystal could be salvaged and reused in a new saber.
10:08 I would have loved to see Maul vs Vader or Anakin vs Vader that would make a good episode especially with Maul know Sidious’s plot from Clone Wars Season 7.
There's a line where Kanan says to Hera "You were solo?" which I think has to be a reference to the fact that she fills the Han Solo role in the show. She's the pilot and it's her ship.
Ralph Macquarie designs are the at-dp and the lasats both are original designs for at-stees and wookies and also ewok is an abbreviation of wookie and just a shorter version
Hey man! Just a feedback: some yellow squares appears at the end of the vídeo when watching the vídeos on TV. Thats probably because you are embeding those images using the own youtube platform for it. :)
Concerning Vader's eyebrows, remember the theatrical version of Return of the Jedi included Vader with eyebrows. I'd imagine the artists were also winking to the audience with that.
I would be nice to watch a video with conjetcures about what may have happened to the remaining Jedi (and why didn't Vader go after the Rebels to get the holocron back).
Star Wars Rules If the Seventh Sister had been Barriss, they would've written her differently. She probably would've died in a different, more meaningful way than the Seventh Sister did.
The Empire is everything Barriss feared. She hated how the Republic and the Jedi had fallen so far and tried to make a statement against it. For her to be an inquisitor fighting for the Empire, would make her nothing but a hypocrite.
One thing I've never quite understood... Does Chopper have some form of PTSD? He's a republic astromech that would have taken part in multiple conflicts (bombing runs by the looks of it seeing as he was pulled from an Y-wing) and yet he is always hiding when a fight happens and never comes when asked... and is always paranoid about it too.
I think that old light saber Ezra finds, that looks like Kylo Rens, is a huge clue about who Snoke is. Those Ancient light sabers have cross guards just like Kylo Rens. Its already theorized that Snoke is an ancient force user who has been around for a long time. What ever the Knights of Ren really are, they probably use the ancient style light saber because Snoke is that old himself.
Do the Rebls team not know how to come up with new designs. I mean taking concept art designs for a couple things is cool but it's like everything is from concept art or unused designs.
The Clone Wars used McQuarrie's concept art a lot more. If something was drawn up, looks great, and is just sitting in storage, why not use it? If you have problem with that, apply for a job with Lucasfilm and come up with new designs yourself
Ross Holt I think its got to do with them wanting to bring his design ideas to life. (He did a ton of concept work, enough to fill a few text book encyclopedias, and the vast majority wasn't used. Plus Disney has a huge hard on for the original trilogy (a byproduct of the Star Wars fandom treating the original trilogy like holy gospel for the past two decades) Plus the shows head creative director is a massive fan of Ralph's work.

Star Wars rebels trivia but every time there is an inspiration from Ralph McQuarrie, it's speed up 2%
CopperJCrafter Maybe entire Rebels series, huh ? xd
The Clone Wars drew inspiration from McQuarrie''s work too. In fact, they used it a lot more
CopperJCrafter the only thing I don't like is how Yoda looks with the Ralph McQuarrie design
Star Wars Unveiled I actually think Rebels Yoda looks much better than TCW Yoda. It looks far more like his movie counterpart, though I admit his head is a bit tok round. In TCW, he just looked weird to me. Too angular and massive freakin eyes.
Alright, new drinking game, anytime you here Ralph McQuarrie, take a shot.
Tico Factory first reply
You gotta add a warning that you are not responsible for any injuries as a result of intoxication. ;)
10 times💀
Anybody else notice Chopper's model name is "C1-10P" which looks like "CHOP"? Maybe I'm crazy, but the "1-1" is like an H... so... yeahh.
OMG I never noticed that the 1-1 lookes like an H XD
Tell me you're joking.
Albert Kleppin
Lol
That is amazing!
If I hear " Ralph Mcquarrie concept art" one more time...
Ralph McQuarrie
Concept art
ralph mcquarrie concept art
"Tributing" Ralph Mcquarrie was a clever way to dodge work for this show it seems.
Concept McQuarrie Ralph Art
Can you do clone wars version of these
Makaneek I would imagine so
in the clone wars Anakin tells ahsoka revenge is not the jedi way and then vader tells her the same and in the clone wars rex kills a cat guy and tells him I'm no jedi which is what ahsoka tells vader
leon Shepard That "cat guy" was Keeper Agruss, a Zygerrian.
leon Shepard Poetry xddddd
Ahh, wasn't that when Anakin didn't kill an unarmed person?
8:40
You forgot to mention the time in Season 1 where Hera called Zeb by his full name after learning that he lost Chopper in a bet
...Yeah, that'd be better to add for the season 1 vid, but, it's strange.
This video was based on illustrations by Ralf Mccorrie
You forgot to mention that Ashla was also the name of a female Togruta Jedi Youngling who made her first appearance in Attack of the Clones. She was being trained by Yoda along with other members of her class called the Bear Clan.
roderickuw Canon or Legends?
Wasn’t she in LEGO Star Wars too?
Ezra's vision of Lothal was a vision from the future! That's what lothal looks like in the series finale
In the new Darth Maul comics we see a flashback of Palpatine taking a younger Maul into Malachor. :)
Could you do a video on all the episodes that were supposed happen in season 7?
this is a great idea!!
ShortCut 001 Yeeeeeeeez
This series is such a love letter to Ralph McQuarrie. Too bad he never got to see so many of his designs animated.
The Jango Jumper, the Eighth Brother's species, is based (or at least looks a lot like) concept art for Darth Maul.
Ruben van Dijk Hey, I never noticed that! It does! If you change some of the colors it looks very similar
Hearing about all the background behind the Kyber Crystals (even if it was left out) is really cool since a lot of the time theyve been mentioned in Rebels came BEFORE Rogue One where it was officially shown that the Death Stars beam was fuled by Kyber Crystals. What if Snoke is a mamber of a race from the Unknow Regions and is using the First Order to weaken the galaxy for an invasion simmilar the the Uzzong Vong!
Miitchell Whitmer god no
Owen Douglass Well, not *exactly* like the Uzzong Vong, but something similar.
YES!
I like this much better than those damn "he's Mace Windu/Darth Plagueis/Luke Skywalker/Imperial Stormtrooper" theories
4:00 OH! I had always wondered where the heck that droid socket came from! It didn't dawn on me that Quarrie installed it.
you forgot one.
the grand Inquisitor uses krell's hinged double bladed lightsabers as a temple guard
I get so excited every time I see you've uploaded a video, your videos are very high quality and entertaining to watch! :)
What happened to jabba's son after the clone wars
Zach Zwerneman he became...... fat
Really no information for what happened directly after the Clone Wars, but after Return of the Jedi two people find a baby hutt and asked the Rancor trainer from Jabba's palace to teach him (Source is the novel Aftermath Life Debt). He died before return of the jedi took place
Ketsu's Helmet has a small similarity to Boba's helmet from the Clone Wars which was took by Assaj Ventress
No mention of the fact that the voice actor for Kanan and the voice actress of The Seventh Sister are married in real life?
I don't know if that's true because kanans voice actor is Freddie prince jr and the seventh sister's voice actor is ahsoka's voice actor but I may be wrong and you may be right but that's cool you seem knowledgeable
I imdbed it. I am right, Seventh Sister and Ahsoka are played by two different people.
+KeenKar no, the actress for Kanan and the seventh sister are married. And Ahsoka's voice actor is Ashley Eckstein. For the seventh sister it's somebody else.
Oh ok, I think I got the voice actors mixed up, my bad you guys are right thanks for correcting me on that
Interestingly, the actress agreed to the role only if the Seventh Sister wouldn't be in/directly killed by Kanan.
10:07 Return of the Jedi? You mean Revenge of the Sith, right?
No, there were a couple releases of ROTJ, one of them had eyebrows and one didn’t
Yes, we know that but he distinctly said that the animators added eyebrows DESPITE the fact that they were burned off in Return of the Jedi, which they WEREN'T, "@@nahog7988."
His eyebrows were burned off in Revenge of the Sith, not Return of the Jedi. (He misspoke, and has Tweeted about it acknowledging he had since.)

@Star Wars Explains ...Do you think well get any more appearances or mentions of Commander Cody in Canon??
Aidan Cant, a feel like eventually he and Rex might see each other...
Two Vs Two Vs Me I really do hope he survived the purge and had his chip removed...
Behemous yeah that would be great...seeing him confront Rex as an imperial and possibly defecting to the Rebel Alliance
9:20 so they came up with the eight brother before the grand inquisitor?
at 1:34 there is a Padme pinup
Nice, Well Done!! Keep it up!
Thanks for taking the time to do this video! I love hearing these cool facts.
1:31 That upper pin-up girl looks like she has Padme's hair...
images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/23100000/Hostage-Crisis-clone-wars-anakin-and-padme-23114496-1194-671.jpg
Becouse she is Padmé
Clancy Brown also voiced Montross, Jango Fett's mandalorian rival in Legends video game Bounty Hunter.
8:03 This dojo kind of reminded me of the one from The matrix but that room seemed to be a bit bigger than this room
good good. still no rebels this weeks. but some rebels this week. :)
Haha that was my goal. Help us all survive the hiatus!
I never realized (or noticed rather) that numa was in rebels with Cham! I remember even keeping an eye out for her during twi'lek centered episodes, I'm either very dumb, or blind. Orr.. perhaps both.
So Ralph mcwarry (I tried to spell it my best) had the best job ever right? He drew space vehicles and ships and got paid for it! That's awesome!
Weblly Studios Yeah he did and it's Quarry btw just so you know
Nice video Alex! Your the best!
Great video star wars explained!
Mate, what about AP's voice being based on Alan Rickman? That's an awesome easter egg
As a Star Wars nerd while watching some clips I noticed some of the Easter eggs
7:58, must be a fan of Korra and Naga, the Avatar and the Polar Bear Dog...
@5:02 is that Snoke hangin out at the spaceport?
Much better than the 101 facts video, better format.
You didn't mention how there were supposed to be more clones on the walker originally.
Vader's eyebrows weren't burned off in Return of the Jedi, but in Revenge of the Sith.
Ralph Macquarie designs are the at-dp and the lasats both are original designs for at-stees and wookies and also ewok is an abbreviation of wookie and just a shorter version
the concept art version of the spiders are terrifying.
hey you should do these with the star wars movies
Dear Alex,
Can you read Aurebesh after spending so much time immersed in the Star Wars universe?
Hey man! Just a feedback: some yellow squares appears at the end of the vídeo when watching the vídeos on TV. Thats probably because you are embeding those images using the own youtube platform for it. :)
"Commander Sato's ship is a re-purposed Medical Frigate from the Clone Wars" Knew it.
Love your channel!
There should be a drinking game based on Ralph Mcquarrie references XD
wait, isn't Alora also a name in the Jedi Academy videogame?
10:04 he said return of the jedi lol
I think Ketsu's look was drawn from Starkiller's in the alternate ending to Force Unleashed.
When i saw the Hammerheads i had a minor freakout
Concerning Vader's eyebrows, remember the theatrical version of Return of the Jedi included Vader with eyebrows. I'd imagine the artists were also winking to the audience with that.
Wait What? xD
7:53
A creature like this is in the new Season 4 Trailer!
(It was even shown in the exact same angle?)
I hope you know that as soon as Ezra got that lightsaber it fizzled out
Fun fact: Agent Kallus new rank promotion is Commander
More Easter Egg and Trivia videos!
I thought Alora is reference to Jedi Academy and Malachor is Malachor V from Knights of the Old Republic.
It is the same Malacore.
Awesome video!
Hondo Ohnaka is in Maz’s Castle in Battlefront
anakin having brows is actually making vaders bushy brows from RotJ canon again
Malachor is also from The Old Republic
Wouldnt quite say the Flurry was..."mentioned" but it works.
5:34 : Nailed it.
I would be nice to watch a video with conjetcures about what may have happened to the remaining Jedi (and why didn't Vader go after the Rebels to get the holocron back).
Such a missed opportunity to make the Seventh Sister Barriss Offee...
WackyBull FR
nah
Cuz barriss would have just died in the finale without any real conflict.
Star Wars Rules If the Seventh Sister had been Barriss, they would've written her differently. She probably would've died in a different, more meaningful way than the Seventh Sister did.
WackyBull True,
The Empire is everything Barriss feared. She hated how the Republic and the Jedi had fallen so far and tried to make a statement against it. For her to be an inquisitor fighting for the Empire, would make her nothing but a hypocrite.
Have you made a video about Force Adepts?
In the subtitles at 9:29 "Dave Bologna".
at 1:31 you can art of Padme
Chopper says 'I have a bad feeling about this" in season 3...not seen anyone mention/spot this yet....
I hoped i wouldve missed something directly referencing a mass shadow, or the mass shadow generator
I like to think that the Lothal at-ats becomenthe at-acts after the new, shorter designs go into production
8:53 the stuff of nopemares
1:35 is that a pinup of Padme? I doubt Anakin would let that fly....literally
No mention of Kotor 2 for Malacor?
Thx for learning
Wait, the little snails are called dogma? as in the clone trooper? now I kinda feel bad for him.
Nice Video :)
Hey, that's pretty good
1M0RTAL_CH1CKEN Darth Vader has *crippling* *depression*.
h
10:00 it's revenge of the sith not jedi
if you just say Jedi how can we tell that your either saying return of the jedi or the last Jedi
can you lore on Ysanne Isard
can you make a video a about religion in the galaxy? such as what religion Padmé and anakin were married under?
10:40 you mean burned off in Revenge of the Sith.
the medical ships of the republic are named Pelta Frigates
Fenn Rau definitely inspired by Fenn Sysha.

+Ross Holt
There are also new designs like the Ghost, the big Imperial cargo ship or the Fang fighters.
Luca9108 The fang fighters are from the Clone Wars originally.
+LegoTurtle Brickfilms
No, the Gauntlet starfighter is from Clone Wars. The fang fighter are new designs from Rebels.
Can you do these videos for The Clone Wars series?
Um I know Im late to this party but...
The Hammerhead Corvette is to the same ship type from KOTOR.
That was the Hammerhead Cruiser. The corvette is about the size of a CR-90 but the cruiser was more the twice that at a length of 315 meters.
still waiting on the video series going over each star wars planet in detail.
Vader having eyebrows is more than enough confirmation for me that the special editions aren't canon
