Weep with those who weep.. Those words are from the Lord in Romans 12:15 he mandates us to weep, also to rejoice with those who are rejoicing and he calls us to love and care about what others are going through.. With that I’ll share my heart with you..
My heart has been heavy and sad for all those who have suffered tremendous loss from hurricane 🌀 Helene. So many without help and in dire circumstances..
I didn’t realize when I was singing this song for the first time that the lyrics would etch themselves into my heart and As I was listening back to this almost a week after the hurricane, my tears have been flowing😭 The Holy Spirit in me grieves for people and as I pray for the lives of those who have lost everything or close to everything.. I begin to pray for those who do not know the Lord Jesus as their personal savior, and I thought about all the lives that have been lost in a storm. Never mind the lives lost from everyday world tragedies.. I just continue to pray 🙏🏼 and know that God is in control and we are living in the last days before Jesus returns.. I’m grateful for all that the Lord provides and I’m so blessed to know Jesus love and that if I died from anything I know I would go home to be with him.. Can you say if a tragedy happened and you were gone from this earth that you know where your going to? And so I will say Lord hide me under the shadow of your wings 🪽 as I weep for humanity..
