It looks lke a lot of those crashes are from rider fatigue, lots of guys who do hare scrambles are not in so good of shape..ham and eggers but tough guys. That shit happens on long ass rides...hare scrambles. Bad arm pump while going through trees on tight steep trails is deadly. I ride a CR500 and it vibrates crazy, gotta hold on tight to that beast. Cool video.
I would take the CRF250R, learning to ride took me like 2 days on the track and I would personally get tired of the TTR-230, which is not as competitive. Just dont go crazy until you know the basics and you would have a highly regarded bike with the 250R.

But to be competitive in motocross is much harder, because 75% of dirt bike riders ride race track. Just my opinion. I definetly wouldnt call them "goons". In fact in takes more hand-eye coordination than track....again, just my opinion.

if you have never ridden a bike before the TT-R would be the best way to go BUT it will get pretty boring soon as it is gutless so you will want to upgrade like after 6 months or so of riding it (thats if you ARE bored of it) but if you want to start rough as in a waay to powerful bike for a beginner then take the 250 I started on a TT-R230 and after 9 months of riding im getting a 07 or 08 CRF250 for X-mas if you want more info go into a MX shop instead of asking on you-tube
damn dude i ride a yz 85 trail and moto but i've never seen a guy get stuck wit a branch. And the guy that did a front flip over the edge at 16 sec is stupid, its called a wheely. i want to see a guy that rides moto ride a trail see what happens.

okay i ride trails faster than crap and race moto i like racing the trails cuz you get faster hand eye cordination you build you stamina and you generaly improve i like to ride on tracks too because again you get better either way you ride fast you wreck its life racing hair scramblers are no harder than moto but they take different skills so a pure moto rider wouldnt be very good in woods or vice versa

all a track takes is the balls to clear a jump, trails take skill, and the balls to not be afraid to loop it out on a hill.
