Thus, it is also related to the definition of the highest Being.
Existence is related to ontology;
It is, generally speaking, deductive in nature, general to particular in direction; the opposite of the inductive procedure.
"Meta" (-physics) it is beyond physics;
the invisible root from which the visible has sprung.
"God won't give you evidence that he exists until after you already believe in him," Christians say, knowing damn well that once you have a vested emotional (and financial) interest in God being there, you've already got your confirmation bias panties fully pulled up.

I'm 80. I've lived an extraordinary life. My childhood was full of poverty, sexual abuse, and physical abuse. I've lived in war zones, seen an assassination, the works. But, never once have I felt the need of a god of any type in my life

I have a physics degree, and I took quantum courses in both undergrad and for my masters. I must had missed the “therefore God” proof lectures.

You’re absolutely correct. Theists need to stop using information they don’t fully comprehend to try and establish a reason for belief, both for themselves and others. It’s evident that this is a way to cope with the lack of empirical evidence and to perpetuate indoctrinated hope, providing comfort until the end of their lives.
No field of science sets out to prove the existence of gods. To date, no scientific discipline has established empirical evidence supporting the existence of deities. The scientific method does not provide a framework for proving or disproving the existence of gods. Additionally, quantum physics does not pertain to the concept of gods; it neither provides evidence for nor operates based on the existence of a deity.

Always with the "ifs" and never with the evidence.
Lets take something like greek mythology. It has a ton of gods who all do different things and therefore cant be infinite. Thats more beivable even if its really is just mythology, you could even say that the things they reign over are proof of their existance if you really felt it was true. But it'd still be false, its just your personal belief in like Zues or Poseidon.
Now we have christianity, an infinite being who made everything and predestined our whole lives all on his own, far less beleivable. It's a lot easier to praise demeter for a good harvest then say anything in the bible is accurate. This dude. Could have revealed himself at any time olin person if he really wanted us to know was real. But he hides it, on purpose apparently and his followers are okay with that. As ridiculous as it sounds its more sane to curse Zeus for striking you with lightning then it is to thank god for curing your cancer. One has atleast some correlation from mythology...

If anything in quantum physics suggested that a god existed why aren't I hearing that from quantum physicists? Why am I hearing it from some guy who doesn't understand quantum physics? Please cite the papers in physics journals that discuss how god is suggested by quantum physics. Infinity doesn't exist as an amount and physicists would be the first people to tell him that when the math results in infinity they know there is something wrong being put into that math.

He is literally building a deity based on his preconceptions and looking for anything to affirm them. Calling this hokum intuitive reasoning makes the whole thing even more incoherent and nonsensical than when he started. Every god relies on the human asserting it to explain it define it and prove it. Without that human agent the god disappears and ceases to exist how can they not see that?

How can anyone accept a god. That is an ideology, which is not factual and is bordering on a cult. There are over 4,000 gods revered on this planet, and all the believers of those gods believe they are true gods. So to accept one god is ludicrous, so either you accept all of them or none of them.

Ralph appears to be clumsily describing a concept of God that is an impersonal state of pure existence similar to what Deepak Chopra might promote. That's why he's saying his idea aligns with quantum physics. I wish Ralph could have just spit it out rather than spin his wheels so awkwardly. The hosts aren't sensing where Ralph is coming from.

Anyone that retreats to quantum mechanics for an explanation, should be made to take a graduate level course on quantum mechanics and(by law) post their grades for everyone to see.
Because if god is not infinite he had a start and per xian doctrine then he must have had a creator. Ergo, he must be infinite else the whole xian worldview is wrong. Good luck demonstrating that.

Ralph's thinking is sufficient to get to a hypothesis. Now he has just has all the work to do.
What theists do not seem to understand is that God (whatever that is) is irrelevant, and here's why:
In this instant, either God exists, or he doesn't. And, regardless of which we might decide is the case, the entire rest of the Universe remains exactly the same. Apart from satisfying idle curiosity, even knowing whether or not God exists is completely irrelevant to our lives.
Either there is a God who created the Universe in all of its intricate detail, including a complete lack of evidence that he even exists (implying that he created the Universe to be fully self sufficient, not requiring any influence or maintenance on his part), or there is no God involved in the creation of the Universe. Regardless of which is the case, we are still left with the task of reconciling ourselves to the same Universe. "God" changes nothing.
"The Bible is true, no matter what it says" - even Dinesh D'Souza admitted that.
The thousands of christian denominations that have an immense range of what the ONE shared God is and what he wants are in itself VERY persuasive evidence that something is wrong here.
When God can be whatever I want it to be, no one can know which one is right.
I believe in god because as soon as I believed in god I knew he was real and when other people realise god is real they also believe in god... 😂
It appears that these people desperately want/need there to be a god. Why?
Because their brains were screwed up when they were children. Not once in the history of the world did a child mention gods all by itself. All children are being indoctrinated by adults into religion. The Jesus of the bible even commands his apostles to bring the children to him. Why? Because adults won't believe this bullshit.
