For those hating, it is common practice for Factory Riders to start at 250B and progress 1 Class every year. Haiden just turned 16 and just got on a 250 4 months ago which in itself is an accomplishment to be among the ones leading his Class in such a short span. Next year he will be 250A, and likely the year after will go Pro Sport until he finally goes Pro at 18.
Little reminder Ryan Dungey went from the B class at Loretta‘s to the Factory Suzuki team under DeCoster in 07 never becoming an “A” rider. DeCoster said he didn’t care if he was an a rider that his turn speed was faster than anyone he had ever seen.

I would have liked to have seen Deegan stay on a 125 for an entire year, and gain Size and Strenth…he is only 16; and a lot of people forget that.
I like Haidens race craft coming around, on small bikes he was almost always out front early or able to pass guys super quick, now he’s taking different lines(as shown in the video) and passing them by sitting behind and being smart. Love to see it. Preston is very impressive too. Good pickup by team green

After winning four titles at Loretta's in the last two years, Cianciarulo put his name in the record books.
That far back? Are you crazy? He was in 2nd on the 1st lap. Made a mistake. Couldn't catch 28 and 105 until their battle caused them to run off the track and lose 6-8 seconds. Deegan got lucky that the 2 fastest guys made a mistake.

How bout what? First and second got jammed up and he was able to pass. Look how the second moto played out. Deegan didn't walk away with any titles this weekend.
That’s what’s sad about this sport. No reason to go try for AMA major race when you just see factory kids running A lap times in the B class pretty pathetic honestly. It’s why you see 140 C class rider entry’s and maybe 30 in the A B classes
I thought the same thing.I’m mainly riding in the woods now but back when I was racing motocross I was in the B class but I’m sure I was not riding this fast.
@@Johnr37us same thing at my local track, people who should be in A class are racing all the way down to C class where i race, it sucks because im getting lapped almost 2 times by the leader by the end of the race. i hope since the mx races are starting back up (in my area) that everyone sees that they are faster than C class
@@austintrenum8281 almost every factory AM races a year of B class before moving to A class. No reason to be racing A class at 16. Also, Star has a schedule of when they want their ams to either sign the pro contract or get dropped, so all the current Star pro ams are up to get a contact or get dropped, next year it will be haidens turn unless he races 2 years of B. It’s a cycle that generally all factory am teams follow.

The fact that he’s in b class is why all classes should adopt the 4-5 overall wins and you advance rule. For whatever reason D class is the only class that does it. It would naturally advance any sandbaggers before they truly become a sandbagger
Since he moved onto the 250 he's only won one overall at Mini Os and didn't get any overalls at Freestone so based on your own logic he's in the correct class. Pretty sure there's about 5 guys racing 250B that could win on any given day which makes the racing great to follow 🙂
They are all technically pros as they are riding and being paid to develop. Similar to minor leaguers working their way to the majors. A class = triple a B class = double a etc.

Now with Supercross that's a little different & a different license

Yea this comment doesn't make sense. Dudes 16 years old. His dad has stated many times they are not rushing him. They Re going thru the process correctly and doing it right. He needs more time on the bike. He turned I believe his best lap time a 2:02. Ryder D who rides the A class turned a 1:58. Deegan is not ready for pro classes

Ryder is older and been on a 250 a lot longer then Deegan so of course he’s more then likely going to turn faster lap times. The thing that impressed me most about Deegan was his lap times getting faster or being consistent throughout the race and not dropping off like most of his competitors.
I'm pretty sure the two in front fell fighting for lead....or else they would've showed Deegan passing them......they just got up fast enough to not lose more positions. Deegan wasn't catching them fast enough when he got into 3rd and all of a sudden he's got like a 5+ sec lead....I don't think so.

Because he is riding 450B, 250B, and Schoolboy...Also Yamaha Star already has like 5 Pro Sport Riders.
