- Two thousand and twelve marked the final time the AMA Pro Motocross Championship landed in Texas, and the last hoorah took place in a 100+ degree heat index. The first moto of the day was a classic, with laps led by privateers, rookie sensations, a comeback win and insane moments from the red plate holder. But perhaps the real show stealer was that of Blake Baggett who spent most of the moto launching the wall jump into what was then called the Texas 12 Pack. Watch as some of the sports' biggest names go at it in the Texas heat!

Man Jessy Nelson what could have been. Kid was really good.
Can you post 2014 glen helen 250 moto 1. When Jmart and Webb came out and shocked everyone. Can call it rebirth of Yamaha or something because that’s the race that started star racings now 10 year domination of the class.
Thank you very much 😊.
Do you have any more of these old school videos.. loving it..💙❤️
Baggett was simply invincible that year) how he broke the gap at the end of the race) something)
He was far from invincible that year. Barcia kept him on his toes with his consistency and Tomac kept him honest with his winning.
@@zacharyradford5552 Watch that season again))
Phillip! The 11-10 mods bike which ran about 30% was looking great this day. Also Weege's voice sounds weird at times in this audio.
He's 12 years younger. Time does things.
Baggett sends it off the texas 12 🤘🏾
Wild thing is Tomac wasn’t doing it and was STILL a few seconds faster.
I miss watching Jessy Nelson race.. dude was so fast and talented. He for sure would have won 250 and 450 championship if he didnt get hurt the way he did.. such a freaky crahs to cause what it did...
Baggett was so good on a 250f..
Great
Is freestone still around at all?
Yeah it’s still around but they just host amateur stuff. No pro nationals anymore
@@maxmayer1965 do you know why? Freestone needs to be added back to the circuit imo
@@KrypTeK702 they kinda got rid of it for the same reason as the Florida national. It’s so hot down there in the summer it gets dangerous for the riders. And the AMA just decided that there’s better tracks to go too
@@KrypTeK702 eli won hangtown as a rookie then literally fried himself while leading the next round at freestone n wasnt the same, mfs damn near died
It’s so sad what happened to JN
