When you say the words separately, without the contraction, they convey a stronger meaning. When you say "must not" that is a strict order! But when you contract the words into one word and say "mustn't", this is much softer language, and is more like a request or a suggestion than a strict order.
Not really the same, in English that is just short form of the same words and doesn’t change the meaning at all, the Arabic example used in the video, it actually change the structure of the word hence it change the deep meaning which is something that will never be translated into Latin or English .. this methods is used a lot in Arabic poetries if you studied them you can will come to know more about this.. and you can only learn the actual meaning in Arabic or have paragraph in the English explaining the meaning of one word.
I don't think so, in Arabic maybe if you add a harkka in the same word it will change to completely different meaning. The structure of words in Arabic so amazing you can check how it works. As for your analogy, you still have the same word but he spoke about differences between two words not one with different writing or pronunciation because this exists in Quran also in words like رحمت ،رحمة.

Great point to talk about, and there is much should the people of mind know , But what had been ( explained) is the opposite.. يسطع : يبغي طوعاً. يستطيع : يبتغي طوعاً. موسى (لم يسطع) : لن و لم يقدر على البتة(لا يبغى ذلكم) (تستطع ) : يمكن أن يقدر على ذلكم ( لم يبتغي). الحمدلله رب العالمين

@someone-bt5lu hard to give an answer because each arab country now has its own dialect, we just don't use these rules in our normal conversations anymore (at least in Palestinian dialect)
I would love to do all your lessons. I have studied Arabic and am trying to understand the Quran I am absolutely sure that will definitely benefit Insha Allah.
I am a native Arabic speaker and I salute you and take my hat off to you, many many native Arabic speakers do not realize these very very subtle differences even if they are in their mother language, very respectable really.... God bless you.
To be honest, all this has very to do with the quraan. All the semithic languages have this phenomenona of strong vs. regular structures. It is very similar in Hebrew. Dont forget that god / Allah gave the Thora in hebrew. Before there was the quraan. This is said with all the respect. As a jewish person i must say that the jewish religion consider Islam as monotheistic. By the way i agree that Arabic is also a beautiful language.
المعنى : لم تَسْطعْ = اي نظر نظراً للجبل ولم يسطع أن يتسلقه اي دون محاوله ، يقول لم اسطع لم يستطيع = بعد المحاولة اي بعد ماحاول أن يتسلق ولم يستطيع Meaning: he couldn't = i.e. looked because of the mountain and was not able to climb it i.e. without trying But the scoend one (يستطيع) = he couldn't climb the mountain, after trying to climb but he couldn't...
As an Arabic native speaker it's insane compared to any language I try to learn Any language phonetics which may be challenging to any one is nothing to me and I can do it for the first attempt Any grammar is too simple compared to Arabic
Arabic is very easy and very hard at the same time without random stuff that is in english or french even though they make no difference. I'll start learning Arabic again. In Sha Allah
That is a different issue. When reciting the Qu'ran you are just following and reading .. You can't add anything. Outside the qur'an, you will require to have knowledge of verb forms and their meanings, which I explain here: ruclips.net/video/DxE4c7wW-qc/видео.html
@@namatidakbolehempty Arabs of that time used to do it but most Arabs of our time don't have the knowledge. If you gained enough understanding of the Classical Arabic from accurate sources you should be able to do it too.
As an Arabian, this technique mostly used in poetry and not much in spoken everyday language.. unless you wanna read and understand Arabic poetry then don’t worry much about it.

6:40 MashaAllah That's why the English word "pray" has different meaning and context to Arabic. Example (I forgot the surah): "Allah prays to Muhammad" doesn't mean Allah SWT worship Muhammad PBUH because in Arabic, it says "Allah gives blessings (Salawah/selawat) to Muhammad PBUH". So as the word "fire", if you get "fired" by your boss doesn't mean you get burned. English is the weakest translator

يارب اغفر له وادخله الفردوس الاعلي وسائر المسلمين
As a native speaker
I must say that i didn't notice these details before
Really good video 👍🏻
God bless you
Great point to talk about, and there is much should the people of mind know , But what had been ( explained) is the opposite..
يسطع : يبغي طوعاً.
يستطيع : يبتغي طوعاً.
موسى (لم يسطع) : لن و لم يقدر على البتة(لا يبغى ذلكم)
(تستطع ) : يمكن أن يقدر على ذلكم ( لم يبتغي).
الحمدلله رب العالمين
Man even as an arab i couldn't tell the difference, but now that i know.. I'm mind blown
An amazing and well made video, opened my eyes to the greatness of Quran and our language, you just earned a subscriber
Is it used that way in todays arabic as well? Maybe not these words but like more structured and less structured similar words
@someone-bt5lu hard to give an answer because each arab country now has its own dialect, we just don't use these rules in our normal conversations anymore (at least in Palestinian dialect)
@@ahmedmakdah thats so interesting and amazing, thank u 4 answer akhi

I've been thinking about this for years but always forget to find an answer about that discrepancy, this is amazing subhanAllah
I would love to do all your lessons. I have studied Arabic and am trying to understand the Quran I am absolutely sure that will definitely benefit Insha Allah.

جزاك الله خيراً على هذا الشرح الجميل، سلِمت يُمناك 💚
Thank u so much for this great explanation 💚
I am a native Arabic speaker and I salute you and take my hat off to you, many many native Arabic speakers do not realize these very very subtle differences even if they are in their mother language, very respectable really.... God bless you.
I'll say
سبحان المبدع فعلا معجزه نزلت على أهل البلاغة والفصاحة فظنو انهو سحر وشعر لم يروا مثله ولكن صدق الله العظيم
The arabic in the Quran is an ultimate perfection
جزاك الله خيرا
The lecture was so Beneficial make me understand quran better
To be honest, all this has very to do with the quraan. All the semithic languages have this phenomenona of strong vs. regular structures. It is very similar in Hebrew. Dont forget that god / Allah gave the Thora in hebrew. Before there was the quraan. This is said with all the respect. As a jewish person i must say that the jewish religion consider Islam as monotheistic. By the way i agree that Arabic is also a beautiful language.
المعنى :
لم تَسْطعْ = اي نظر نظراً للجبل ولم يسطع أن يتسلقه اي دون محاوله ، يقول لم اسطع
لم يستطيع = بعد المحاولة اي بعد ماحاول أن يتسلق ولم يستطيع
Meaning: he couldn't = i.e. looked because of the mountain and was not able to climb it i.e. without trying
But the scoend one (يستطيع) = he couldn't climb the mountain, after trying to climb but he couldn't...
Can you please launch one course on Udemy on learning Arabic? Too many courses we get lost. Beginner to Advanced along with Arabic Grammar!

بوركت على هذه التوضحات القرآن الكريم كلام الخالق العظيم و اللغة العربية غنية المعاني 👍
I’m an arabic person but I don’t know that 😂
yeah Arabic language is so hard, but it’s beautiful 🤍
Im actually happy we learned this in school this year the way you explained it!!
As an Arabic native speaker it's insane compared to any language I try to learn
Any language phonetics which may be challenging to any one is nothing to me and I can do it for the first attempt
Any grammar is too simple compared to Arabic
Arabic is very easy and very hard at the same time without random stuff that is in english or french even though they make no difference.
I'll start learning Arabic again. In Sha Allah
thank you for explaining this to none Arabic speakers, I couldn't explain it the way you did Allah bless you
جزاك الله خيرا
so how do we decide which letter to add? Is there any rule for this?
Thanks for the explanation.
That is a different issue. When reciting the Qu'ran you are just following and reading .. You can't add anything.
Outside the qur'an, you will require to have knowledge of verb forms and their meanings, which I explain here: ruclips.net/video/DxE4c7wW-qc/видео.html
@@Arabic101 yeah i asked for outside the Qur'an, like spoken Arabic. Thanks for explaining. I will study the video inshallah.
@@meshowzaq6892 Thanks, Arabic is full of mysteries and techniques. Hopefully I can understand someday
Thanks for your efforts.
I have a request, can you explain differences between (المغفرة) and (الرحمة)
ruclips.net/video/480rX2gCsZg/видео.html
مغفرة means forgiveness
رحمة means mercy
"تِلْكَ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًا ۚ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Jazak allh Khair

That's why the English word "pray" has different meaning and context to Arabic.
