Lauren your art is wonderfully creative and I absolutely love your original variations on ways to create neurographic images! However it was what you wrote in the description that captured my attention first..thank you so much for your honest words about finding an artistic style. I feel like every artist I listen to absolutely hammers the importance of finding “your style” I’ve wondered when will that happen for me, why must I settle on one, what about all the other styles I love too? Like you, I love a lot of very different mediums, styles and techniques. The style I choose on a day. all depends on how I’m feeling, what vibe or energy I have, my ability to concentrate or how creative I feel at that particular time! After feeling unsettled and down-trodden about it fir quite awhile now, yesterday I thought, no more - I’m making a stand against being corralled into “a style”! I’m not going to get caught up anymore in trying to work out or choose a style. I am me, I create for my wellbeing and share it with others who like to feel whatever it is they feel when looking at my art. Thank you for everything you’ve said here, this needs to be broadcast far and wide…Creatives, just do what you love and like! Peace and kindness from Tasmania x
Thank you so much for this comment Christina, I really do believe that it's not necessary to choose just one style of art, especially when there are so many different ways to do Art and to be creative. It's really nice to hear that you share this sentiment, and I think it's great that you are choosing to focus on embracing all of your creativity and go with the flow of your creative energy. I love your last line "creative's, just do what you love and like"! This is so true, and also so freeing when you realise all the creative possibilities out there :) Keep doing you and happy creating :)

Oh wow! You are super inspirational. I've been stressed lately and I've also had a brand new box of bright acrylic paints here on my desk forever with no ideas what to do with it. I immediately grabbed my sketchbook and those paints and am busy having a mental therapy night, and enjoying every minute! Thank you so much!!! Liked and subbed!!
I think possibly they could be sealed with a varnish or Mod Podge. I have used Mod Podge to seal other artworks and it worked pretty well 😊 thanks for these lovely inspiring comments 🙌😊
I would rather call this Neurographic inspired art since it has more to do with a theme and colour whereas neurographic are was designed to deal with your emotions, feelings, frustrations etc and how to work through it.
@@laurenbarta I was just thinking that there are going to be those people who are totally locked tight with how neurographic "should" be and saying that you are doing it wrong. I feel that everyone should do what they do and not worry about everyone else's rules. Thanks for this video it has really helped me along my art journey! I love your work! And your - styleS!
