Home schooling is such an underrated method inshallah I will homeschool my kids. May Allah bless me with children and make it easy for us all.

To be quite honest, in the beginning, I would think Br. Imran was too much but after continuously watching his videos I came to the understanding that he is passionate about Islam masha'Allah his delivery may be harsh but I get his message Alhamdulilah! I try to put my girls on to his videos. Most are turned off but I still say watch him! look passed all the bluntness and listen to his message. May Allah SWT reward you br!!! Ameen. My husband is now an active listener of your channel!! :)
I have recently took my son out of school to homeschool and it's better for him. I do not trust this system and this dunya is getting worse now and I don't want my sons head messed with. I no he is safe at home and can teach him as I deem fit. May God help us and guide us

I went to high school in American for 4 years and I can tell you it’s the worst place a young Muslim men/women can be not just smoking in the bathrooms and all the other stuff but in general, you sit on a chair for 8 hours straight and you can learn if you want but there are some many distractions where it’s hard to focus on studying. I don’t remember a time coming home and doing homework lol that’s a different topic but ya alhamdulillah my children are going to be homeschooled inshallah

Personally I think home schooling is better. No worry about the child going school being exposed to fitnah, haram relationships and even zina. Bullying also no worries about that happening if you are home schooled. Also with the current issue with CoronaVirus you won't have to worry about the child catching it in a public school if they are home schooled

@@AH23232 no worries brother 😊. Honestly I don't think hopefully I have an obsession, not that I idolise anyone. I've been there really liking someone, always thinking about them etc but then my heart broke when I found out they got married. That was actually what I came to this team about and alhumdulila I feel soooo better now. My next stress now is searching for jobs during this current pandemic and economic downfall.

Started homeschooling my son reception age, happened by chance. Been a few weeks. After being a highly experienced tutor for 1 and a half decades in maths, English and science - it is hard work and requires a lot of energy, commitment and focus.

BarakAllahu Feekum this was very informative episode. After watching this I realized that I was misinformed about home schooling. One of my University mates was home schooled and he was top of the class academically. So it's beneficial both academically and deenwise

Please keep it up but one humble request for brother Imran: move the microphone a little further from you as it’s difficult to listen when driving or with earphones etc as we have to continuously put the volume up and down to adjust for your enthusiasm MashaAllah. May Allah reward you for this as it is becoming a deterrent for me and I’d imagine some others from listening

Imran isn't a saint free of criticism. Quite a few people have noticed he dominates the convo, and sometimes comes across that he thinks he's more knowledgeable to speak on things or his opinion holds higher value than the rest. It's difficult for the viewers to watch.

I was not contemplating this even tryna ignore the vid until I watch it...and when the brother said when you breakdown the school day you are only learning for 1-2 hours and when I look back it's actually true. I could so much smarter if I did homeschool.

As a maths teacher myself that timetable the mum made is very impressive. Home schooling is the best option but can be expensive. Both the parents need to be on point and support each other and their kids. The other option would be Islamic Schools, I am currently working in an Islamic school in Luton. Is actually pretty decent, obviously is not the best in terms of National Curriculum compared to a good state school or grammar school but nonetheless students there still do better then students who go to state school and this is what I witnessed. Before joining a Islamic School, I worked in local Sixth Form Collage, and I have seen majority of the students who come from Islamic schools do better in their studies, they are more focused.
This Podcast was very much needed.

Homeschooling is definitely better. One good tip is to read plenty of parenting books so that you can easily deal with any given situation. Jo Frost has a few good books, (mothing that goes against the teachings of Islam) also a book called 'how to talk so that kids will listen & how to listen so that kids will talk'. In a nutshell get your parenting skills mastered FIRST and you'll do just fine with homeschooling.

Interesting discussion I do see the befits if homeschooling however I can’t do it! I can not teach and get fed up easily tried during this pandemic, if only there were other ways or someone else teach them it would be better..its public school for now and I can’t afford Islamic schooling either.

Just a reminder: the hadeeth mentioned about the 3 stages of your children (play with them until they are seven....) Is not traced back to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم as far as i am aware, it seems that it has no basis....and Allah knows best
How can I come on Naseeha nession
We provide home schooling tutoring online for Maths, Science and English language. We have many parents using our online service. Its not as difficult as some parents believe. I would strongly encourage it.
We also do adult english classes. It is essential elders focus on learning the english language to get about their daily life.
The brothers have highlighted really good points here so im not going to spend time here pointing these out. But just going to point out islamically it is really beneficial to have the flexibility.
I think one point to consider is that it will usually involve informing your council (easily done).
It can cost much cheaper than the brothers mentioned depending if its online. Let me know if I can help anyone with any information or service.

I think his calculation about study time is very very odd. 50 mins lesson- maximum (very upper bound) 10 minutes mess about. So 40*6 lessons is 240 mins. That’s four hours my friend

Home schooling seems ideal but it seems only the rich and the middle class can afford it- the tutors /the resources??
How and where do we get the whole resources / eg the booklet the text books, worksheets for the whole year for example:
It needs to be divided. Also Can you live 5 months here and 7 months say sonewhere in Qatar and still home school?
Also which core subjects do we need to hire the tutors for?? Maths & English and Arabic studies and how many subjects do you teach at home for the home schooling.

Year 6
Also how does it work once there in A Levels and universities. Bear in mind more fitnah there in colleges and universities after years of homeschool!

I remember I went to a primary school which was like 99% Muslim. I remember arguing with a kid in school because they were saying Allah is everywhere and I was telling them no he is above.

If done properly it is way more efficient than public school

I know many, many people who went to schools their whole life and are still so strong in their imaan. If anything, home schooling highlights your lack of ability to teach your children the right way of living, as muslims. In which case, you would be comfortable that no matter what environment they find themselves in, they will do what is right.
You can’t generalise based on anomalies.
