And a quick question for you guys, do you like process videos like this better, or timelapses? or maybe should I put both in? I'm still trying to figure out what works best with MAP parts, I might just alternate back and forth, who knows? Leave a comment if you have a thought! ;u;

BEAUTIFUL!! you obviously took time to work on every single movement a real cat would make; down to the slight iris contractions with Bluestar's blink! (don't know if that was intentional, but it just added to the realism!) wonderful job!

bluestars body language here is spot on and amazing. as someone who suffers from anxiety i can tell you ive done that several times; cluthing my arms and rubbing them like that. your lipsync is so super amazing. you've grown so much as an animator jay, holy hell

Heya guys! Before anyone asks, YES AARON BURR IS COMING! Please understand that I got that part literally a MONTH or two ago, and I JUST finished up finals at school, where I had to animate almost 40 seconds worth of animation in just a few weeks. A short film is hopefully on it's way to be completed this summer, after I finish a few more MAP parts first!
I used Animate CC for the animation, Photoshop CC for lighting and effects, and Premiere for putting it all together!
Everyone go give Mel some love, he worked hard on his half and his channel is in the description (which has a question for you guys, so let me know what you think!)

xJaystarzx ah i understand you. i really cant wait till i see your A.burr part but take your time i know it took a long time also animating isnt all you are doing in your life :) but i am pretty sure it will be wonderful part. good luck with that! also this is AMAZING too :D
xJaystarzx hey I wanted to ask you about animation, since I got an app for it, about how to do smooth yet fast or slow movement. Do you need more fps for faster movement, or less, also I luv ur animations. :P
Both of you and Hullumel MASTERED the expressions. Hullumel caught so well the worry in FireHeart's eyes, and then in BlueStar's eyes it was so clear the guilt, pain and despair. And the position of her paws and how she turns her head adds more emotion into it. Great job!
okay her eyes darting back and forth, the tail twitching, rubbing her paws, really pushes that this is when she descended into madness !! Wonderful attention to detail

I love Fireheart's animation; it just makes my eyes and heart happy.
aH THIS IS WONDERFUL!! I love Bluestar's anxious paw kneading, the action really helps portray Bluestar's being distressed :D

That art style at the beginning was soooo good! Ahhhh it gives me an El dorado Disney esque feel and it’s so well alone with the second art style to appear! Very nicely done you two
aaah I'm really glad you liked the first shot! El Dorado is one of my favourite animated movies so it makes me very happy to be compared to it :>

Personally I like these process videos more, the time lapses are fun but it can be annoying. I recommend doing the timelapse vids separate from the MAP part, but hey, do whatever because your stuff is amazing

Don't mean to be annoying but, I remember you stated you will be working on Roxanne after Five Giants is complete... Is it still a top priority or did you put some other animations in front of it?
Roxanne has been pushed back and Aaron Burr is now my top priority after I finish the current freelance and commission work I got. Roxanne will most likely be finished after Aaron Burr next month.
