Never been as blown away by a new track as when this was released. It still sounds like it's from the future.
The craziest thing about this song is that it jumped ahead of celine dion to become the number one selling single for 6 weeks on the Australian charts! Lol there must have been some good drugs going around then
Jayson Haebich the pills were much stronger
To be fair, Celine Dion is kinda shit though. I mean, I'm sure she's a nice person, but ...
They were designer drugs back then, made by brilliant chemists. Now days they're cooked up in toilets by any dumb cunt.
I watched this on acid when I was 22 that was 23 years ago still gives me flashbacks
Yeah was a massive hit
I remember this video as a 3 year old on RAGE in Australia, legit was mind blowing graphics back then and made me delve into the world of computers and video games. Thanks Hocus Pocus!
also, drugs and raving became a thing too. But mostly Video games.
I remember some family friends were over, super religious, and their mum was freaking out that the graphics on this song contained subliminal messages.
You is Aussie to!
Omg same bro
Omg same bro
I remember driving the VP commodore around with the windows down blaring this at 17 😂 who am I kidding I still do
Still got the VP man?
J Minnt I wish I did
J Minnt sv6 these days 👍
Chappy Lapp-y
I'm on playing op
This song was played at every single roller skating rink I've ever been at. This is the best roller skating music
U got weird roller skating rink
This and Peaches by PUSA
@@nararose3991 And Dum Da Dum - Melodie MC
That's quite funny, because they played this one every time they had the speed skating session at the local ice skating rink here in Christchurch, New Zealand back in the '90s.
Especially for speed skating
My 6yr old daughters door was squeaking & I said "that reminds me of the start of Here's Johnny hang on I'll show you" now she's cracking up laughing at me dancing 😂 damn 20yrs later & my body just kicks in to the beat automatically 🙌😂💖
fullyawesomeness
This song transcended the war between Metal and Grunge vs Techno in Australia. It didn’t matter what you liked this was cool!!!
I literally "went off" to this on my 21st.
Had a wild night of dance and drink.
I am now just about 50.
Shit this is old! Like me!
Yet still sounds like the future compared to the mainstream pop charts.
@@steviewondek Actually, unlike a lot of 90's music, I don't think this has aged well *at all*. It's literally just a monotone stab in the same pattern over and over again. It's kind of terrible LOL. Stuff like Leftfield, Afro left - now THAT has ages well. Timeless really. Just my opinion so don't shoot me!
@@teddym2808it may not be technically complex but invokes memories so therefore its awesome!
@@DGYSAM Yes it definitely DOES invoke memories. That's undeniable:) I can't believe 30 years has passed. Truly.
Still a masterpiece.
I totally agree sir!
back to '94 (when i was in first year of Univ.) this was the first Hardcore Hits at that time in Aussie... damn, it sounds so old!!... but i am glad to hear this again after 22years!! time flies
koko kenzi hell yeah .. I definitely remember when this hit the aussie charts back in 94 ... sweet old memories ...
koko kenzi Uni, jeebers, i was in year 7 in high school.
koko kenzi actually the song came out in 1993 i imported the 12 inch fron central station..it wasnt to about 12 months later with djs lik eme flooging it it became popular
+koko kenzi this was 95 when it was big in australia
+Cameron Jones oops! I was mistimed then... Nevermind... Really enjoy the song anyway 😉👍
Can't believe how old this is man... Brings back so many memories
I know!
Nostalgia at 100% it's still a thigh slappin track. I was about 10 when this came out, permanently on play list.
Ahh yes the 90’s oldstyle/hardcore! Samples from every movie you were fond of brought to you in a dystopian atmosphere houseparty! The good ol’ days!
I was expecting a Johnny Carson opening sample as that's what The Shining refers to.
THIS TIME, IT'S WAR. Aliens for the uninitiated.
I'm not even mad that this was the number 1 song on the aussie charts when I was born.
i wish tbh
Fucking amazing
lucky duck, I was born just before and it was Another Night - Real McCoy
The tumbling video image (at 4:00) was caused by an error in the super-VHS editing box that just froze and then cascaded the image. I thought it was cool!
It is cool!
How do you know?
@@leon_rojo4 Actually, that's pretty cool. Happy little mistake
That's super cool. Did you work on the video?
@moon man you douche
Nice lil tidbit
Absolute fucking classic! Spent my early years in Australia and this is what got me hooked on Dutch hardcore. I was shocked to find out in my teens and later that practically no one in Europe knows this song. I legitimately asked the DJ to play this at my year 6 farewell!
If it aint Dutch, it aint much !
"ALL THOSE WHOM SELL THEIR SOUL TO THE DEVIL ASK FOR A REFUND."
( St. HMAJW ).
Aussie classic, was on our radio all the time, one the best bangers
This was an Aussie classic? It's no wonder you koala molesters live upsidedown.
Wait is this actually Australian made? First heard it a few years ago on the college bus home. Unsurprisingly, EVERYONE was loving it
@@haydenTenno- It's Dutch / from Netherlands.
@@haydenTenno-Netherlands. Same guys did Doop.
My first banger!! saw the video on Rage when I was 6 and immediately became hooked on dance music.
Gary ablet loved this back in the day 🤩
My first ever cd i bought as a kid as i first heard it whilst playing laser tag at timezone again with my mates. at 2.33 that sound was so loud and that was the moment electronic music was my love.
Best mainstream techno song of all time. Brutal
This is hardcore
@@Dj_Basekiller 100%

At last... I find you!
Remember this playing at the roller rink on a high school excursion.
Great times
I remember seeing this on rage way back in the day as a child and being well confused. My first banger!!
Funfact.. this song was a number one hit in the Aboriginal desert communities when this came out.. as I found out when I went to do DJ workshops in a place called Elliot.. middle of the outback.. the whole town loved this song 😅🤷🏾♂️
This is on the playlist in the shed at work.
Still have this in my CD collection! :)
I just got this single today! Too excited! I’ve been searching for this one! 😄
Still hits hard
Oldie but a goodie!
"U CAN PUT UP WITH PAIN BUT IF U IGNORE IT YOU FIND YOURSELF HAVING BEEN DAMAGED."

As a teen I loved this song. Can't belive it still holds up to the test of time.
Such fantastic song.
I thought it would be daggy and weird but no.
Stll love mid 90s music.

Dude I remember this from my blue light disco days. Sugar high only.
Snorting pixie sticks
Those things with the giant mouth and wheel hands was almost like something out of your worst nightmare
They used to freak me out when the song first came out. Watching the clip on tv traumatised me lol
TheThreeAwesomeFriends i just showed my 12yr old, he didn't like the faces in it either
Vicki Star fkn same haha
its the sound too Bwaahhhghhhhhh
Yeh, it's just full on creepy lol
loved Central records, downstairs to pick up the latest version of 'juicy red apple'. I still have my old copies from the mid 90's. My favourite is the from the sonic rave at a brookvale factory, our lift freaked out on his Egg and left us stranded..all the way back to the inner west. Still have some old mix tapes like nik fish's 'rewind' 94.
This was absolutely huge at raves in 1993. Then it hit no.1 and it dropped out in the a#se. Reminds me of Prodigy 5 though. Awesome night out.
Had this song randomly pop into my head the other day and just had to have a listen for old times sake
still loving the amiga 500 graphics
Somehow I remember this song been so much better than what it is now, sometimes memories are Just best left in the past
You take that back
I'm going to go against the grain of most of the other commenters and agree with you - I actually cringed seeing this film clip again! LOL
Was an absolutely HUGE song crom back in the day....loved it then, still like it.
I'm LOVE this song its awesome too with good bass
Back in the Mid 90's when this dropped in Oz I used as my theme/entrance music when I worked in the Wrestling Scene in Sydney NSW Australia ... Going by the name of Double J Johnny the Joker it was the right choice ...
Banging, great track.
Gabber Dj, let the bassdrum go like..
Bam bam bam-tshi-bam bam bam bam !!!
Always loved this clip, trips me out everytime 🤪
I knew this song from going out.
I finally saw The Shining about 10 years ago and was blown away when Jack Nicholson said Here’s Johnny

Haha this track was the first for many as a kid- now I’m a huge hardcore and industrial listener 👍
I can't believe this is an actual song and not just a wild dream I had in 2015
One of my favourite songs. The 90s videos were weird in such a funny way.
"Bam bam bam woochi BAM BAM BAM BAM!"
Oh the memories!
On the Gary On on the Gary
And to think, this was cutting edge CG back then...
why did I ever like this?
Your asking rando's for an answer? Perhaps you grew old and boring and now a conservative bore.
Memories❤❤❤❤❤
This was mind ducking in the 90s... now in the 20s it's even more so.
2019 🔥
The closest anyone has come to representing a migraine....

Sun Tzu: "The Way I am is the Way the Enemy has Made me."
Classic!!!
WHEN KEEPING YOUR HEAD DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY! ! !
What happened to Sydney Australia raves? Does anybody remember the rave Triple Trouble 2 in 1997 at center point tower, it was epic.!! Also the Utopia's at Australia's Wonderland. THOSE were the days, they should happen again and Wonderland should be re-opened, knock down some factories etc already and build the public a new Wonderland.!!
Tune!!!
WOW!!
Has a great bass to this song
